Insert the Sicce Syncra pump inlet (non-threaded end) into the pump bae.

Attach the strainer to the long end of the intake pipe. Push the short end of the pipe into the
pump bae. The pipe is designed to sit ush into the bae, so some force may be required. The
t will be very snug.
    

Insert the bae, pipe, and pump assembly into the main lter body along the indicated grooves.
     

Place the media basket with optional divider plate into the lter body chamber.

Ensure that the pump power cord and intake pipe are resting in their designated slots prior to
attaching the lid to the lter body.
    
Hang the lter on the back of your tank and ensure it is level using a shim, if needed. Adjust
the positioning screw so that the lter is parallel to your aquarium.
    

Regular maintenance of the pump will ensure a long life and maximum performance. You can
clean the pump and its components by soaking in a general citric acid solution once every 3
months.
The collection cup should be cleaned frequently with a sponge and warm water.
                                                             

AquaMaxx warrants all AquaMaxx products to be free from manufacturing defects for one year from
the original purchase date when purchased through an authorized AquaMaxx retailer. This warranty
does not cover any damages caused by misuse, neglect, alterations or improper handling / transport /
maintenance / installation. Physical damages are not covered by warranty. AquaMaxx does not cover
personal injury, personal loss, or other damages associated with the use of our products. In order to
request warranty service, please email us at [e-mail]. A purchase receipt is
required for any warranty service. Products requiring warranty service must be returned to AquaMaxx.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping a warranty claim to AquaMaxx and any damages that may
occur during transit. Once a returned product has been inspected, it will be repaired or exhanged at
our discretion and returned to you. International and / or expedited shipping are not covered under
your AquaMaxx warranty.
       
1. Ensure that the intake pipe is completely submerged underwater, and that the level of water
inside the aquarium is no more than 4 inches below the rim.
2. Pour your lter media into the media basket.
3. Fill the lter with aquarium water until it ows out of the outlet.
4. Plug in the pump.
5. Allow the pump to prime, which may take a few minutes. Once fully primed, water should
continuously ow into the pump and out of the lter outlet.
           
