Instructions
1) Set the AquaBasin™in the desired location and
trace out the area that will be dug out. (Fig. 1)
2) Using the marked out area as your guide, dig your
hole for the AquaBasin™15” deep. Make sure that
you tamp the hole in order to prevent any unneces-
sary settling. (Fig. 2 & 3)
3) Place the AquaBasin™in the hole and using a
level, make sure it is level side-to-side, and front-
to-back. (Fig. 4)
4) Once the AquaBasin™is level, start to backfill
with dirt. (Fig. 5)

How to Hook Up a Stone Fountain
1) Feed the vinyl tubing through the hole
in the center of the AquaBasin™. Place
several 3”-4” stones around the hole and
vinyl tubing. This will prevent smaller
gravel from falling in.
2) Next, carefully place the stone fountain
in the center of the AquaBasin™and
feed the tubing through the hole in the
fountain. The AquaBasin™is designed
with an 18” wide recessed area in the middle. Depending on the decorative piece being
used, this recessed area will allow you to backfill with gravel around the decorative piece
giving it a more stable platform to sit on. It is recommended that tall or oddly shaped
pieces be set in the middle and backfilled with gravel to prevent the piece from falling
over. (Fig. 6)
3) If you do not have to backfill around the decorative piece simply fill the recessed area
in with gravel in order to make the fountain level with the top of the basin. (Fig. 7)
4) The AquaBasin™is designed with two removable grates for easy pump access. Place the
pump inside the AquaBasin™and connect the tubing to the Ultra pump and ball valve
using the clamps supplied from the Ultra Pump AquaBasin™Kit (items #98136, #98137,
or #98138 sold separately). The cord from the pump can be run out the notch in the side
of the AquaBasin™.(Fig. 8 & 9)
How to Assemble the AquaBasin™ UltraPump Kit
• Assemble the pump as show in photo above.
• Attach the vinyl tubing to the fittings with the
supplied hose clamps. Use a pair of pliers to
tighten the hose clamps.

5) Now that everything is in
place, you can now finish
covering the top of the
AquaBasin™with gravel.

How to Hook Up a Decorative Spitter
1) Feed the vinyl tubing through the hole in the center of the
AquaBasin™.
2) Next, place the spitter on the AquaBasin™and connect
the tubing to the spitter with the supplied clamp from
the Ultra Pump AquaBasin™Kit (items #98136, #98137,
or #98138 sold separately). (Fig. 11) The AquaBasin™is
designed with an 18” wide recessed area in the middle.

5) Now that everything is in place, you can
now finish covering the top of the Aqua-
Basin™with gravel. (Fig. 12)

Tips and Trouble Shooting
•It is recommended that a ball valve be installed on every decorative feature. This will
allow you to adjust the flow of water coming out of the decorative feature so that you
can get the desired effect.
•Make sure the decorative feature is level from side to side and front to back. If the
decorative feature is not level, the water may not flow out of the fountain evenly.
•The hole for certain stone fountains may actually be larger in diameter than the pipe being
used. If this is the case, apply some silicone around the pipe at the base of the fountain in
order to fill the gaps.
