and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall
not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
•Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
•Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
•Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•Do not use the device outdoors.
•This appliance is approved for domestic use only.
•Make sure that the electric heater is always on firm, level ground.
•When setting up the device, ensure a safe and stable position. Only use the device in an
upright position. If the unit has fallen down, unplug the power cord, put the unit upright
again and let it cool down before putting it back into operation.
•Do not place the heater on very deep pile carpets.
•Only use the heater after the feet have been installed correctly.
•Before connecting the electric heater to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated
on the rating plate corresponds to the voltage of the mains supply and that the socket is
earthed.
•The heater must not be covered to avoid excessive heating/overheating of the heater.
•Make sure that the cable does not come into contact with the hot surface of the heater.
•Never use the device with a damaged cable; if the power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by a recognized service center or a similarly qualified person. If the plug is damaged,
refer to the detailed description below to replace the plug.
•Do not use the cord to carry the power tool, hang it up or pull the plug out of the socket.
Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts of the unit. Damaged or
entangled cables increase the risk of an electric shock.
•Do not cover or block any of the heat outlet grilles or the air intake openings of the heater.
•Placing the heater in the immediate vicinity of curtains or furniture may cause a fire.
•Do not place the heater in front of or directly under a power outlet.
•Do not put any objects in the heat outlet or the air intake grilles of the heater.
•Never use the device near flammable liquids or flammable dust.
•Keep power tools away from rain or moisture.
•Never touch the power plug with wet hands.
•The penetration of water into a power tool increases the risk of an electric shock.
•Always unplug the power cord when changing the location of the heater.
•Do not touch the hot parts of the convector with bare fingers during operation. Always use
heat-insulated gloves or pot holders to touch the convector and its parts. Make other users
aware of the dangers!
•Check regularly. Use of this device may cause wear on certain parts. Therefore, check the
device regularly for any damage and defects.
