•The heater must not be placed with the heating element facing upwards towards the ceiling.
•The heating element must face the surface to be heated.
•IMPORTANT: To avoid overheating, do not cover the heater. Do not use the appliance to dry
clothes.
•Keep children and pets away from the appliance.
•Children from the age of 8, physically and physically impaired persons may only use the appliance
if they have first been familiarized in detail with the functions and safety precautions by a
supervisor responsible for them. Make sure that children do not play with the unit. Children from
the age of 8 may only clean the appliance under supervision.
•Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by
children without supervision.
•Do not use the appliance if it shows signs of damage or malfunction.
•Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. The unit does
not contain any user-serviceable parts. Only a qualified electrician should perform maintenance or
repair work. Attempting to repair the unit yourself will invalidate the warranty.
•If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or
similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
•Do not touch the heating element with bare hands. If it is touched accidentally, remove fingerprints
with a soft cloth, otherwise they will burn into the element and cause premature failure of the
heater.
•Do not replace or attempt to remove the heating element.
•This product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity
of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
•Do not expose this product to the weather for a long period of time.
•Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
•Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover the mains cable with carpets, rugs or
similar coverings.
•Lay the mains cable so that no one trips over it.
•Do not wrap the power cord around the unit.
•Do not allow foreign objects to enter the heater vent or opening as this may result in electric shock,
fire or damage to the appliance.
•To avoid a possible fire, do not block the ventilation slots.
•The heater has hot and sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where petrol, paint, explosive
and/or flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep the appliance away from hot surfaces and open
flames.
•If possible, avoid using an extension cord as it may overheat and cause a fire. However, if you must
use an extension cord, make sure it is suitable for outdoor use and preferably equipped or
connected with a circuit breaker.
•Always make sure that the heater is plugged into a suitable socket that has been tested for outdoor
use.
•Always unplug the appliance and make sure that it is completely cold before transporting, cleaning
or storing it.
•This heater is for domestic use only and should not be used for commercial purposes. Any other
use not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
•The use of attachments on the heater is not recommended.
•Do not use this heater with a programmable outlet, timer, separate remote control or any other
device that automatically turns the heater on, as there is a fire hazard if the heater is covered or
improperly positioned.
•Check the outside walls for damage before installing the heater.
