•Never use the device if you notice damage to the power plug or power cord. If the power cord
of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or his customer service or
a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards. Defective power cords pose a serious threat to
health!
•During installation, observe the minimum distances to walls and objects as well as the storage
and operating conditions according to the technical data (chapter Technical data).
•Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of curtains, beds or sofas.
•Keep a safety distance of at least 1 m between the air inlet and the air outlet of the device and
all flammable materials such as textiles, curtains, beds and sofas.
•Make sure the air inlet and air outlet are free.
•Make sure that the intake side is always free of dirt and loose objects.
•Do not place the device on a flammable surface.
•Only use original spare parts, otherwise no functional and safety-compliant operation is
guaranteed.
•Allow the device to cool down before transport and/or maintenance.
•Do not use this unit near bathtubs, shower trays, swimming pools or other vessels that contain
water. There is a risk of electric shock!
•Do not use this device again if it has been dropped or shows visible signs of damage.
•Do not insert rechargeable batteries into the remote control.
•Use the CR 2025 button battery type.
•Never charge batteries that cannot be recharged.
•Different battery types as well as new and used batteries may not be used together.
•Place the batteries in the battery compartment according to the correct polarity.
•Remove discharged batteries from the device. Batteries contain environmentally hazardous
substances. Dispose of the batteries in accordance with national legislation (see chapter
Environmentally friendly disposal).
•Remove the batteries from the remote control if you have not been using the device for an
extended period of time.
•Never close the supply terminals in the battery compartment briefly!
•Do not swallow batteries! If a battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns/burns
within 2 hours! The burns can lead to death!
•If you think a battery has been swallowed or otherwise entered the body, see a doctor right
away!
•Keep new and used batteries away from children, as well as an open battery compartment.
•If the battery compartment does not close securely, do not use the device via the remote
control.
•The heater must not be placed directly under a wall socket.
•To avoid overheating, the heater must not be covered.
•CAUTION! Some parts of this product can get very hot and cause burns. Special care
should be taken if children and vulnerable persons are present.
•CAUTION! To avoid the risk of accidental resetting of the thermal circuit breaker, this
device must not be powered by an external switchgear, such as a timer, or connected to a
circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
•Read all instructions carefully before use.
•Make sure that the voltage specified on the device's nameplate matches.
•Keep the device and cable away from heat sources, sharp objects, or other things that could
cause damage.
•Make sure the device is turned off before connecting it to the mains.
