•Attention: risk of electric shock! Do not try to open or repair the device yourself.
•The ceiling heater can get hot when it is in use. To avoid burns, do not touch the hot
surface! To move the device, allow it to cool and/or wear appropriate protective
clothing.
•Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, sheets, paper, clothes and
curtains at least 3 meters from the front of the heater. Also ensure a safe distance to the
sides as well as above and below the ceiling heater. Do not place towels or other items
on the radiant heater.
•Special care is required when the heater is used by or near children or people with
limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or when the heater is used unattended.
•Do not use the heater with a damaged power cord or in the event of interference - even
if the heater has been hung down or is damaged otherwise. Send the device to an
authorized specialist for checking the electrical and mechanical settings or for repair.
•This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, washrooms and similar indoor spaces.
Never use the device in places where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
To avoid electrical hazards, never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
•Do not touch the control panel with wet hands.
•Do not run a cable under the carpet. Do not cover the cable with carpets, runners or
similar coverings. Lay the cable so that there is no risk of tripping.
•Do not insert foreign objects into the ventilation or exhaust port, as this may cause an
electric shock or fire or damage the heater.
•To avoid possible fire, never block the air intakes or the exhaust in any manner. Do not
use the device on soft surfaces, like on a bed, where openings may become blocked.
•Within the heater are hot parts with arcing or sparking. Do not use the heater in areas
where gasoline, paint, explosive and/or flammable liquids are stored or used. Keep the
device away from hot surfaces and open flames.
•Avoid using an extension cord as this may cause overheating and thus the risk of fire. If
you use an extension cable, it must have a minimum size of 1.5 m².
•To disconnect the heater, set it to OFF.
•If you are transporting, cleaning or no longer using the radiant heater, switch it off.
•Use the appliance only for household use as described in the manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.
•Always use the ceiling heater on a dry and even surface. Only use the device on the
ceiling.
•Warning! To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use the unit with any solid-
state speed controller.
•Do not attempt to repair this device or change electrical and/or mechanical settings. This
will void the warranty. The interior of the device contains no user-serviceable parts.
Maintenance should only be performed by qualified personnel.
•Only connect to properly grounded outlets.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
•The marketing concerning the covering shall be visible after the heater has been
installed.
