Check You Have

•Remote Control
•Batteries
•UK / EU Plug Adapter

Connecting
your Device
Connect the Power Adapter
to a mains outlet and the
rear of the DVB482

Connecting
your Device
Connect the HDMI or SCART
to the DVB482 and to your
TV / Display
OR

Connecting
your Device
Connect an aerial cable to
the RF IN port to receive
signal from your aerial
No Aerial Cables need to
connect to your TV!

Insert the batteries into the remote and Power
On the Set Top Box

The Device will ask to Scan. Make sure "Aerial
Power" is "ON"
Wait for the scan
to complete

Use the "EPG" Button to browse channels

Set Up Recording with a USB
Insert a USB into the
front of the Box
Press the Menu
button
Navigate to "Media Player"

Select "USB Device
Information

Set Up Recording with a USB
Format the drive with the
Yellow button on your remote
Select "NTFS"
Formatting the USB will
remove all data. Please
ensure no vital data will be
lost from the USB before
formatting
Once formatted, you may
begin scheduling recordings

Schedule a recording inside the EPG with the
Red Button
Highlight the
show, press Red,
and a small red
circle will show it
is scheduled for
recording

To Remove a Scheduled
Recording
Press the Blue "Timer" Button to
access the schedule menu
Select a recording and set Timer
Mode to "Off", then Save

Schedule
Manual Times
You can schedule recordings
without the EPG, for any time in
the future.
Press the Blue "Timer" button
and select a recording slot
Set the Recording type to
"Once", "Daily", "Weekly" etc.
Set the Recording Time using the
number pad, and the recording
date with the number pad
Press Save when the recording is
correct
