Calibratetheradar
Theradarisreadytouseassoonasitisinstalled.Thedefaultliveviewwillshowtheradarcoverage
andanydetectedoveent,andyoucanadddetectionzonesandrulesrightaway.
Iftheradarisounted3.5(11ft)aboveground,thereisnoneedtodoanythingelse.Ifthe
radarisountedonadifferentheightyouneedtocalibratetheradartocopensateforthe
ountingheight.

Toakeiteasiertoseewhereobjectsareoving,youcanuploadareferenceap,forexaplea
groundplanoranaerialphoto,thatshowstheareacoveredbytheradar.
Iagerequireents:
•Supportedleforatsarejpegandpng.
•Theiagecanbecroppedintheradar.
•Theiagecanberotated±35°intheradar.
•Theorientationisnotiportant,sincetheradarcoverageshapewillovetoadapt
totheiageduringcalibration.
Afteruploadingthereferenceapyouneedtocalibratethereferenceapsothattheactualradar
coveragetstheposition,directionandscaleofthereferenceap.
Therearetwoethodsforcalibratingthereferenceap:

•Pins(easy):Thiscalibrationisperforedinthewebinterfacebyclickinginthereference
ap.Thisistheeasiestwaytocalibratethereferenceap,andyoucanuseitifyou
donothavephysicalaccesstothesite.
•Tracks(accurate):Thiscalibrationethodrequiresapersontooveinfrontofthe
radar.Thisistheostaccuratewaytocalibratethereferenceap,butyoucan’tuseit
ifthereisalotofotheroveentinthescene.
Youcandothisyourselfwhileaccessingthewebinterfacefroaobiledevice,orhave
soeoneelseoveandfollowyourinstructions.
