TheAxisroductrovidesseveralvideostreamformats.Yourrequirementsandtheroertiesofyournetworkwilldeterminethe
tyeyouuse.
TheLiveViewageintheroductrovidesaccesstoH.264andMotionJPEGvideostreams,andtothelistofavailablestream
roles.Otheralicationsandclientscanaccessvideostreamsdirectly,withoutgoingviatheLiveViewage.

H.264can,withoutcomromisingimagequality,reducethesizeofadigitalvideolebymorethan80%comaredwiththeMotion
JPEGformatandasmuchas50%morethantheMPEG-4standard.Thismeansthatmuchlessnetworkbandwidthandstoragesace
