Thespeakertestisatestthatcanbeinitiatedfromaremotelocationtoverifythatthespeakerisworkingasintended.Formore
information,seeSpeakertestonpage18.
Note
Duringcalibration,itisrecommendedthatsomeoneisphysicallypresentattheinstallationsitetolistentothetesttonesand
ensurethatthetesttonesarenotmufedorblockedbyanyunintendedobstructionsinthespeaker’sacousticpath.
Calibratetheaudiodevice:
1.GotoAudio>Devicesettings.
2.ClickCalibratetocalibratetheaudiodevice.
OncetheAxisproductiscalibrated,thespeakertestcanberunatanytime:
1.GotoAudio>Audiosettings.
2.Clickesttorunthespeakertest.

emailtoadenedrecipientwhenaspeakertestfails.Thespeakertestisconguredtobeperformed18:00everyday.

Someemailprovidershavesecurityltersthatpreventusersfromreceivingorviewinglargeattachments,from
receivingscheduledemailsandsimilar.Checktheemailprovider’ssecuritypolicytoavoiddeliveryproblemsand
lockedemailaccounts.
5.Setuptheconditionofwhentosendtheemail:
5.1GotoEvents>Management>ActionrulesandclickAdd.
5.2EnteranameandselectSpeakertestfromthetriggerlist.
5.3SelectestresultandselectFailed.
5.4SelectSendnoticationasactiontypeandselect"speakertestrecipients"asrecipient.
5.5EnterasubjectandamessageandclickOK.

Youcancreaterulestomakeyourdeviceperformactionswhencertaineventsoccur.Aruleconsistsofconditionsandactions.The
conditionscanbeusedtotriggertheactions.Forexample,thedevicecanplayanaudioclipaccordingtoascheduleorwhenit
receivesacall,orsendanemailifthedevicechangesIPaddress.
