1. Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of a B.Well “TWISTER” Ultrasonic Nebulizer!
Thanks for your support.
B.Well warrants that this device has been produced using high quality
materials and it complies with the safety rules in force both domestically and
internationally.
The new WN-119 U “TWISTER” ultrasonic nebulizer operates on ultrasound which
produces the drug solution vibration and turns it into mist, these tiny particles get
deposited in the lungs and consequently give quick results that are achieved with
minimal to no side effects.
This model comes with the exclusive Closed Water Chamber System, easy to
use: all you need to do is to pour the solution into the medication cup and it is
ready to use.
Another exclusive feature of this nebulizer is the A.D.R. System “0% Medication
Wastage” which enables the patient to adjust the aerosol delivery intermittently
according to the patient’s individual breathing pattern (the aerosol is delivered
during inhalation and stopped during exhalation). In this way, the drug solution
is used to the full reducing wastage. It operates on two kinds of power supply:
mains electricity and rechargeable battery packs (optional accessory).
It is suitable to be used with “Warm”® Heating Device which heats the
nebulization mist (optional accessory).
Please, read the instructions very carefully before use, and operate the device as
described.
2. Recommendations
1. Read the manual carefully before using the device and keep it in case you
need further information in the future.
2. Do not turn the device on if there is no drug solution into the medication cup.
3. Disconnect the nebulizer when it is not being used.
4. Do not remove the medication cup cover while the device is operating.
5. Do not expose the nebulizer to a heat source.
6. Do not pour more than 8 ml of solution into the medication cup.
7. Do not leave drug solution into the medication cup when the device is not
being used.

8. Do not scrape or pierce the medication cup cover.
9. Do not touch the medication cup or the drug solution while the device is being
used.
10. Do not dip the nebulizer in water.
11. Children may only use the device under adult supervision. Keep the nebulizer
away from children.
12. To avoid infections and contagion the accessories should not be shared by
different patients. They are intended for personal use only.
13. B.Well warrants the quality of the liquid contained in the Closed Water
Chamber for a period of 3 years. This solution can be changed easily by the
authorized after sales agents.
14. This device can only be repaired by our B.Well Customer Service Center.

4. Use Instructions
1. Take out the nebulizer from the box and pull up the device cover.
2. Remove the medication cup cover and pour the drug solution into the
corresponding cup (maximum capacity: 8 ml) (Pict. A).
CAUTION: carefully check the membrane placed at the bottom of the
medication cup before each use. If it is pierced or broken do not use the
nebulizer and contact the authorized service agent.
3. Replace the medication cup cover. Connect one end of the hose together with
the plastic adapter to the cup cover hole and connect the other end of the hose

to the mask or the mouthpiece (Pict. B).
4. Connect one end of the detachable cord to the device and the other one to a
socket (Pict. C).
5. The green Standby light will be on. Turn the ON/OFF knob: two green lights
will be on. One of them shows the status of the battery charge (if the device
is operating on mains electricity the light will be on), the other one shows the
timer status (if the green light is on, the timer is operating, if it is off, the timer
is not operating) and the A.D.R. System (0% Medication Wastage) intermittent
operation (Pict. D).
6. The mist will be delivered intermittently. To set the A.D.R. System in operation,
go on turning the knob until the aerosol delivery matches the patient’s breathing
pattern. To stop the A.D.R. operation, turn the knob to the maximum setting.
7. The air flow coming out through the hose can be changed by moving the
position of the regulator (Pict. E).
8. The device will be turned off automatically after 5 minutes of operation. If the
treatment has to be continued, check the quantity of the drug solution in the cup
and add some more if necessary. Turn the nebulizer off and on.
9. Once the treatment is over, unplug the device, remove the hose and the
medication cup cover and dry the parts up as indicated in the “Clean and
Maintenance” item.
5. Operation with Rechargeable Battery Pack (Optional Accessory)
1. When using the batteries for the first time, they will have to be charged during
24 hs. From that moment on, this may be reduced to 6 or 12 hours depending
on the use.
2. Remove the Battery Compartment Cover which is at the bottom of the device.
Place the B.Well Rechargeable Battery Pack and replace the cover. Connect one
end of the detachable cord to the device and the other one to a socket.
3. Check the ON/OFF knob is in off position. The green power ON/OFF light will
be on showing there is electric power and that the batteries are being charged.
4. Once the batteries are charged, unplug the detachable cord.
5. Proceed according to the “Instructions for Use” item. It is recommended to
turn the device off once the timer has stopped the nebulizer operation, in this
way the batteries discharge will be avoided. If the red light is on, plug the cord to
recharge the batteries, it is not necessary to stop using the nebulizer to do so. 5

6. Operation with “Warm”® Heating Device (Optional Accessory)
1. While the nebulizer is off, connect the heating device to the connector placed
at the back of the device.
2. Then, fix the hose and the mask as shown in (Pict. F). Turn the nebulizer on
and set the knob in the minimum setting. Once the mist gets warmer (after 2
minutes), open up the air regulator.
3. Proceed as indicated in the "Instructions for Use" item.
Important:
- Disconnect the Heating device if it is not being used. This piece will be
damaged if it is connected to a nebulizer in operation and it is not used.
- The heating device can only be used when the nebulizer is connected to the
mains electricity.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the accessories before using the nebulizer for the first time or after each
use following these instructions: wash all the pieces, except for the air filter, with
warm water and detergent. Rinse with warm tap water to remove the detergent.
Dip the pieces into a clean bowl containing 3 parts of warm water and 1 part of
vinegar during 30 minutes, disinfectant can also be used.
Wash your hands and take out the pieces from the disinfectant solution, rinse
them with warm tap water and leave them on an absorbent piece of paper. Keep
the pieces into a hermetic bag. Do not dry them with a towel. Clean the outer
surface with a dry piece of cloth.

Warning: In order to avoid infection, it is highly recommended to
clean the pieces after each use. Only nebulize solutions prescribed
by a doctor and follow his instructions carefully. Do not use balm
substances.
The accessories must not be boiled.
Under no circumstances should the unit be opened. There is not
any part inside the unit that could be repaired by non-qualified
workmanship, the nebulizer does not require either lubrication or
maintenance.
8. Air Filter Change
1. The air filter needs to be replaced if it turns dirty or torn.
2. Remove the air chamber from the medication cup cover.
3. Take out the filter and place a new one.
4. Put all the pieces back.
