1.Safety

1.2 Safety instructions
• The device is not intended for use by individu ls (including
children) with physic l or ment l dis bilities, insufficient
experience, nd/or insufficient knowledge unless such persons
re under the c re of person responsible for their s fety or
h ve received instructions reg rding ppropri te use of the
device.
• Children should be observed to ensure th t they re not pl ying

device from the power supply (pull the plug from the socket) nd

• Never llow the power c ble to come into cont ct with he t
sources or sh rp edges. The power c ble should not h ng over
the side of the working surf ce. Ensure th t no one c n step on
or trip over the c ble.
• The power c ble must not be folded, bent or t ngled, nd must
lw ys rem in fully unrolled. Never pl ce the device or other
objects on the power c ble.
• Do not l y the power c ble over c rpets or other infl mm ble
m teri ls. Do not cover the c ble. Keep w y the c ble from
oper ting r nge.
• Check the power cord regul rly for d m ge. Do not use the
device if the power cord is d m ged. If this c ble is d m ged, it
must be repl ced by customer service or qu lified electrici n in
order to void d ngers.

only by pulling the plug.

the device.
• Never oper te the device with moist h nds or st nding on
wet floor.
• Remove the plug from its socket:
- when the device is not used,
- in c se of nom lies during oper tion,
- before cle ning.

filling opening.

qu lified service personnel only.
he device is not designed for continuous operation in the industrial applications.
he ice crusher is only intended for crushing ice.
CAU ION!
Any use going beyond the intended purpose and/or any different use of the
device is forbidden and is not considered as conventional.
Any claims against the manufacturer or his authorized representative as a
consequence of experiencing damages resulting from unconventional use
are impossible.
he operator is liable for all damages resulting from inappropriate use.

3. ransport, packaging and storage
3.1 Delivery check
Ple se check the delivery upon completeness nd tr nsport d m ge immedi tely
fter receipt. In c se of visible d m ge do not ccept or ccept the delivery with
reserv tion only.
Note the extent of d m ge on the c rrier’s bill of delivery. Trigger off the compl int.
Hidden d m ges should be recl imed immedi tely fter notice, s cl ims for d m ges
c n only be sserted within the effective period for compl ints.
3.2 Packaging
Ple se do not throw w y the covering c rton of your device s it might be useful for
stor ge purposes, when moving or, in c se of d m ges, when the device must be sent
b ck to rep ir center. The outer nd inner p cking m teri l should be removed
completely from the device before inst ll tion.

If you liked to dispose the packing, consider the regulations applicable in
your country. Supply re-usable packing materials to the recycling.
Ple se inspect the device upon completeness. In c se ny p rt is missing ple se
cont ct our customer service center immedi tely.
3.3 Storage
Keep the p ck ge closed until inst ll tion nd under consider tion of the outside
indic ted positioning- nd stor ge m rkings.
P ck ges should be stored under consider tion of the following:
- do not store outdoors,
- keep it dry nd dust-free,
- do not expose it to ggressive medi ,
- do not expose it to direct sunlight,
- void mech nic l shocks nd vibr tion,
- in c se of longer stor ge (> 3 months) m ke sure you check the st te
of the p ck ging nd the p rts regul rly, if required refresh or renew.

5. Installation and operation
5.1 Installation
Positioning
• Unp ck the device nd remove ll p ck ge m teri ls ccording to the v lid
environment protection regul tions.
CAU ION!
Never remove the rating plate or any warning signs from the device.
• Put the device on n even, st ble, dry nd w terproof surf ce which is resist nt to
high temper ture.
• Never pl ce the device on n infl mm ble surf ce.
• Never pl ce the device t the edge of t ble to void tilting or f lling.
• Never put the device in moist or wet re .
• Do not pl ce the device ne r open fl me, electric he ters or other he t source.
• Pl ce the device so th t the plug is e sily ccessible so s to quickly disconneet the
device if the need rises.
Connection
DANGER! Electric shock hazard!
he device can cause injuries due to improper installation!
Before installation and connecting the local power grid
specification should be compared with that of the device
(see rating plate). Connect the device only in case of
compliance!
Connect the device only to properly installed single
socket with protective terminal.
• The electric l circuit in the socket must be secured to t le st 16A. Only connect the
device directly to the w ll socket; do not use ny extension cords or power strips.

5.2 Operation
Before the first use
• Before the first use, the device should be thoroughly cle ned ccording to the
instructions in section 6 “Cleaning“, where s possible remn nts fter the
m nuf cturing process or p ck ging should be removed in s fe w y.
Fin lly, dry ll the cle ned p rts.
• Pl ce the enclosed filling funnel on the housing nd the collection tr y under the
opening for collecting ice.
CAU ION!
For safety reasons the device may work only when the filling funnel is
placed on the housing and the tray for crushed ice is properly placed
(hooked) under the opening for collecting ice. Only then the safety switch
will operate.
If the filling funnel or the collection tray for crushed ice is removed,
the device will automatically switch off.
Ice crushing
• Connect the device to single grounded socket.
• Switch the device on by turning ON/OFF switch to the “I“ position.
CAU ION!
Only ice cubes made in an ice dispenser should be crushed in the device,
and not ice cubes from the freezer!
• Fill the funnel loc ted t the top of the device with prep red ice cubes nd st rt the
process of ice crushing. Switch the device on (set the ON/OFF switch in ”I“
position).
CAU ION!
Ice made in the first cycle after cleaning should be removed for hygienic
reasons and not used for drinks, because traces of cleaner could be left in
the interior of the device.

WARNING! Risk of injury!
Never try inserting ice cubes under the blades of ice
crusher using your hands or other utensils.
• If l rger piece of ice is stuck in the device nd the bl des c nnot not re ch it,
you should turn the ON/OFF switch to the “O” position nd remove the cord from
the outlet.
• Pour hot w ter through the filling funnel until the embedded piece of ice melts nd
f lls out.
• Re-insert the plug of the device in the outlet, turn the ON/OFF switch to the “I”
position nd continue the process of crushing, filling the funnel g in with ice cubes.
• When the crushing process is finished, you c n
remove the collection tr y with crushed ice nd
pour the ice to ppropri te cont iner or directly
dd to the drinks.
• When removing collection tr y with crushed
ice the cont ct switch is utom tic lly
de ctiv ted nd the ice crusher stops the ice
crushing process.
• Turn the ON/OFF switch to the “O” position nd remove the cord from the outlet
(pull out the plug!), if the device is not being used further.

6. Cleaning
WARNING!
Before cleaning, switch the device off using ON/OFF switch
and disconnect it from the power supply (pull the plug!).
Do not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the
device.
Protect the device from the water penetration.
CAU ION!
Never use steel wool for cleaning. Its particles may loosen and get mixed with
the crushed ice in a beverage.
Never use sharp or scouring cleaning agents which may scratch the surface of
the device.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents of sprays.
o Cle n the device fter every use, s well s fter longer interv ls between uses.
o Remove the collection tr y for crushed ice nd empty it.
o Remove the filling funnel from the device.
o W sh the collection tr y nd filling funnel using mild cle ning gents.
CAU ION!
All elements which had contact with cleaners should be rinsed thoroughly
with clean water, in order to remove all traces of the cleaner.
o After cle ning, re ssemble ll the cle ned p rts.
o Cle n the surf ce of the device with soft, moist cloth. A mild cle ning gent m y
be used for more stubborn dirt.
o After cle ning, dry nd polish ll surf ces with soft cloth.
o If limesc le builds up inside the device, remove it by using solution of w ter with
vineg r.

Storing the device
o If the device is not used for long time, cle n it ccording to the bove description
nd store in dry, cle n pl ce, protected g inst cold, sun nd, children.
Do not pl ce ny he vy objects on the device.
7. Waste disposal
Discarding old devices
At the end of its service life the disc rded device h s to be disposed in ccord nce with
the n tion l regul tions. It is dvis ble to cont ct comp ny which is speci lized in
w ste dispos l, or just cont ct the loc l dispos l service in your community.
WARNING!
o exclude any abuse and the dangers involved make the
waste device unfit for use before disposal. For that
purpose disconnect device from mains supply and remove
mains connection cable from the device.
CAU ION!
For the disposal of the device please consider and
act according to the national and local rules and
regulations.
