5 Years Warranty
Each of Korenix’s product line is designed, produced, and tested with high industrial
standard. Korenix warrants that the Product(s) shall be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of ve (5) years from the date of delivery provided that the Product
was properly installed and used.
Support
is warranty is voided if defects, malfunctions or failures of the warranted Product are
caused by damage resulting from force measure (such as oods, re, etc.), other external
forces such as power disturbances, over spec power input, or incorrect cabling; or the
warranted Product is misused, abused, or operated, altered and repaired in an unauthorized
or improper way.
Attention! To avoid system damage caused by sparks, please DO NOT plug in power
connector when power is on.

JetNet 3008/3008f Industrial Ethernet Switch, supports 8 10/100Base TX (JetNet 3008) or 6
10/100TX plus two 100FX Fast Ethernet ber ports in either multi-mode type (JetNet
3008f-m) or single-mode type (JetNet 3008f-s). e JetNet3008/3008f adopts rugged metal
case design to operate in harsh environments (-40~75oC JetNet 3008-w/3008f-w); It also
provides IP-30 standard protection. It features one relay output to alarm users if a port link
fails or with the power fails. Alarms can be enabled/disabled by a 9-pin dip switch. JetNet
3008/3008f is recommended to be powered by DC 12V or 24V with 10~60V range from the
6-pin removable terminal block.

Installation
Mount the unit
Din-Rail mount: Mount the din-rail clip
screwed on the rear of JetNet 3008/3008f on the DIN rail.
Grounding JetNet Switch
ere is one grounding screw on the bottom
side of JetNet 3008/3008f. Connect the earth
ground screw of switch to the grounding surface
to ensure safety and prevent noise. See, Figure-1
Wiring the Power Inputs
1. Insert the positive and negative wires into
the V+ and V- contact on the terminal block
connector.
2. Tighten the wire-clamp screws to prevent the
DC wires from being loosened. See Figure-2
Notes: e recommended working voltage is
DC 12V or 24V (DC10~60V, 0.8A).
Wiring the Relay Output
e relay output alarm contacts are in the middle
of the terminal block connector as shown in the
gure below.
By inserting the wires and set the DIP switch of
the respective Port Alarm to “ON”, relay output
alarm will detect any port failures, and form a
short circuit.
e alarm relay output is “Normal Open”. See, Figure -3.

Connecting to Network
1. Connecting the Ethernet Ports: Connect one end of an Ethernet cable into the UTP port
of JetNet 3008/3008f, while the other end is connected to the attached networking device. All
UTP ports support auto MDI/MDIX function. e Speed LED will turn on for 100M link
and turn o for 10Mbps link, the LNK/ACT LED will turn on for link up and blinking for
packet transmit and receive. e ber port only support 1 LED for Link and Activity.
2. Connecting the Fiber Port (JetNet 3008f) : Connect the ber port on your JetNet 3008f
to another Fiber Ethernet device, by following the gure below. Wrong connection will cause
the ber port not working properly.

JetNet 3008/3008f 工业以太网交换机，支持8个10/100Base TX端口(JetNet 3008)或6个
10/100TX端口加2个100FX 快速以太网光口，并提供多模光口型号(JetNet 3008f-m)
和单模光口型号(JetNet 3008f-s)可选。JetNet 3008/3008f 交换机采用坚固的铝合金外
壳结构设计，能够在恶劣的工业环境(-40~75oC, JetNet 3008-w/3008f-w)稳定工作，符
合IP31工业防护标准。它还支持一路继电器报警输出，可针对断线/断电状态提供现
场报警服务。此继电器报警功能可通过交换机前面板的Dip拨码开关启动或关闭。
JetNet 3008/3008f 在机身底部装有可拆卸电源接线槽，其输入电源范围是10~60V，
建议采用稳定的DC 12V或24V为设备供电。

地线连接
在JetNet 3008/3008f机身底部有一个地线
连接螺丝。将交换机的地线螺丝接地，可确
保设备使用安全，抗杂讯干扰。未进行设备
接地，导致之功能损害，将不列入质保范围
，维修将另行收费。参看图-1
电源连接
1. 将电源的正负极导线分别插入机身底
部电源接线槽的V+ 和V- 接脚。
2. 将线夹拧紧，防止DC电源线因振动脱
落。参看图-2
备注: 电压范围(DC10~60V, 0.8A)，建议
电压DC 12V或24V。
继电器报警输出连线
继电器报警输出连接点是电源接线槽的
中間的一对接脚， 如图中所示位置。 连
接导线，并将对应端口的DIP拨码开关置
“ON”，继电器报警功能便可以检测到
端口断连，并形成一个电源回路。正常
情况下，继电器报警线路是开路状态。

网线连接
1. 以太网连接：将UTP双绞线的一端连接JetNet 3008/3008f以太网电口，另一端
连接到需接入的网络设备。所有UTP端口支持自适应MDI/MDIX。当为100M连线
时，速率LED指示灯会亮起，当为10M连线时，指示灯会熄灭。LNK/ACT LED指示
灯亮起表示端口已经连线，信号灯闪烁表示该端口正在收发数据。光口LED指示灯
只有一个，显示连线状态和活动状态。
2. 光口连接(JetNet 3008f) : 将光纤线一端连接JetNet 3008f 光口，另一端连接需
接入的光口设备，如下图所示。
错误的连线会导致光口无法工作。
