Howtocareforyourwoodfurniture
Dustwith a clean,damp,lintfree cloth.Frequentdusting will remove abrasive buildup,which can damage the
finish overtime.
Do notuse a verywetcloth orallowanyliquid to contactwith the veneersfora long period oftime as this can
permanentlydamage the surface.Wipe up spillsimmediately.
Do notuse anyabrasive cleanerorharsh detergentasthiscan damage the surface ofthe furniture.
Spraypolishesare bestavoided astheycontain siliconeswhich mayspoil the furniture's surface when building up
overtime.
Make sure all surfacesare protected fromheatand liquids by mats and coasters.
Ensure thata matorpad isplacedunderpaperwhen you are writing on the furniture surface.
Do notplace rubber,cork,vinylorplasticmaterialson the wood finish as chemicals within may reactwith the
finish if leftin contactforan extended period oftime.
Ourfurniture will endure mosttemperaturesin the home butitisbest toavoidplacing furniture nexttoheat
sourcessuch asradiators orfires.Be particularlycarefulwith solid wood asthe lackofhumidity causedby home
heating can cause damage such aswarping,cracking orsplitting.
Excessive exposure to sunlightcan cause fading ofyourfurniture.
Avoid exposing yourfurniture to anyliquids.All liquidsshould be wiped up immediately with a soft,slightly
damp cloth in the direction ofthe wood grain.If stickyliquid residuesdo occur,they may be removedwith a
dilute solution ofwarmsoapywaterfollowed bya clean,damp sponge.The area shouldthen be wiped
immediatelyin the direction ofthe wood grain with a clean,softwhite cloth until completely dry.
Nail polish remover,hairspray,perfume,potpourri&anyotherproducts thatcontains solvents can damage
wood upholsteryfinishes.
SafetyInstructions:
Neverdrag furniturewhen moving it.Always liftit.
Periodicallycheckall fixings toensurenone have comeloose.Re-tighten whennecessary.
Please take carewhen handlingormovingthe furnitureas careless handling may causedamage orinjury.
Furniturecanbe dangerousif incorrectlyassembled. Assemblyshould be carried outby a competentperson.
Noliabilitywill be accepted fordamage orinjurycaused byincorrectly installed orassembled furniture.

Itisrecommended toseek assistancewhenmoving aheavy object.Take carewhen liftingtoavoid personal
injuryand (or)damage tothe product.
Itisrecommended thatbeforemovingaheavy objecttoa newlocation itis completelydis-assembled to
avoid personalinjuryordamage tothe furniture.Please be careful toretain all fittings when doing this.
Care and Maintenance
WoodFurniture
Wood displaysdifferentgrain patternsdependingon whichway theyarecut-forexample, the 'medullary ray'
whichcanappearon oak furnitureisamarkof good qualitytimber-thesearejustcharacteristics of the natural
beautyof thewood.
Somefurnitureisalsodeliberately aged and rustic.
Wood veneersalsoallowdistinctivepatterns tobe created onsomesurfaces,suchas table tops and drawer
frontsbytheway slivers arearranged.
Alltimberand veneersurfaceswill change colourand mellowovertime.Newfurniturewill initially vary in shade
fromitemsthathave been previously purchased.
