TechGuard™Charging Locker 10-Bay
Assembly & Installation
|The equipment is to be secured to the building structure before
operation.
|Consult with a structural engineer or suitable professional prior to
installation.
|Unit must be secured to oor and/or anchored to the wall in compliance with
local building code.
|Two people required for lifting during assembly.
|Nothing may be placed on top of assembled unit.
|The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
|Installation Instruction states the product is to be secured to building before operation.
|Elevated Operating Ambient - Consideration should be given to installing the lockers in an
environment compatible with the maximum ambient temperature Tma of 40°C.
|Reduced Air Flow - Instructions indicated to not block the ventilation openings so proper air ow
required for safe operation of the equipment is not compromised.
|Mechanical Loading - Mounting of the equipment in the locker should be such that a hazardous
condition is not achieved due to uneven mechanical loading.

Route all power cords
through Top Cap prior to
attaching Top Cap to tube
frame.
Adjust leveler feet to
desired location (use
bubble level).

Hold unit in place while
afxing unit to pedestal
with four (4) supplied 10-32
screws, being careful not to
overtighten.
The pedestal must be attached
to oor as necessary - consult
with a structural engineer
or suitable professional to
determine requirements.
There are four (4) holes,
5/8” (15.8mm) diameter in
the Short Support Tubes
of the pedestal.

Stack 5-Bay With Another 5-Bay Locker
Route power cord through appropriate hole if desired and attach stacking bracket to underside of upper
5-bay using four (4) supplied 10-32 screws, being careful not to overtighten.
Upper 5-Bay unit may be placed in any orientation (90, 180, 270 degrees) from lower 5-Bay unit,
as desired.

1. Locate the Y-Connector power cable and feed it through the
opening for the back panel. (You may need to re-adjust the
Leveler Feet of the base to accommodate the Y-Connector
cable.)
2. Connect each power cable to the supplied Y-Connector cable.
3. Connect the Y-Connector cable to a dedicated 15 A wall outlet.

to the wall if desired.
