Thank you for choosing Besafe iZi Kid ISOfix.

iZi Kid ISOfix can only be installed rearward facing. The car must be equipped -
with ISOfix anchorage points.
iZi Kid ISOfix is not allowed to mount in front passenger seat with an activated -
airbag.
The floor support must always be used. -
The harness must always be used when the child is in the seat. -
For children under 1 year and/or under 10 kg weight, we recommend that the -
most reclined sitting position is used.
We recommend that this seat is used only for children who can sit upright, so not -
younger than 6 months.
It is important that you read this user manual BEFORE
installing your iZi Kid ISOx. Incorrect installation could
endanger your child.

BeSafe recommends that child seats are not bought or sold
second-hand.
Second-hand car seats
DO NOT use on a passenger seat tted with
activated frontal airbag.

Important:
BeSafe iZi Kid ISOx is only possible to mount in cars with
ISOx anchorage points, see the instruction manual of the
car for more information.
Under the fabric cover we use EPS foam. Do not push or
pull too hard against the foam, since you might damage
the foam.

Height adjustment of harness system
Height can be adjusted by releasing
the height adjustment device on the back of
the iZi Kid ISOx, place it in the correct position
and clicking it in. Twist and pull the shoulder
belts on the front side of the seat until the belts
are adjusted into the correct position. Check
the webbing has not become twisted.
Position of the shoulder strap:
Check that the shoulder strap slots are
levelled with your child’s shoulders.
You must adjust the shoulder belt of the harness to the
correct position for your child before installing the seat, as it
cannot be adjusted in the car. The harness must be fastened
and adjusted correctly at all times. Children should be
encouraged to remain within the harness system.

Lay the shoulder straps over the sides of the iZi
Kid ISOx, before your child is seated. Then place
the straps over the shoulders of your child and
close the buckle; Click!

Position the pads on the shoulder straps over the
child’s shoulders. Place one hand on the front of
the car seat and pull the harness adjustment strap
towards you. Continue pulling until the harness is
a comfortable but rm t.

Tighten the belts by pulling them towards
you and in this way straighten them out
inside the construction.

Pull out the shoulder belts while pressing the
button on the harness adjustment mechanism.

Before installation
When mounting in the back
seat, push the front seat as
far forward as possible.
When mounting in the front
seat, adjust the backrest in
a upright position.
!DO NOT use on a passenger seat tted with activated
frontal airbags.
Find the ISOx anchorage
points in the car (15).

If your car is not epuipped
with ISOx insertion clips (16),
insert these to make installation
easier.
You can nd the ISOx insertion
(16) clips under the base of your
iZi Kid ISOx.
Clip the insertion clips into the
anchorage points.

Remove the plastic
caps (9) from the ISOx
connectors (7) by pressing
down the ISOx release
Use the ratchet (6) to adjust
the front brace to the inmost
position. The ratchet (6)
is used to adjust the front
brace in both directions.
Switch the knobs on the
ratchet to change direction.
The oor support (12) must
go through the belt loop
(14). The belt loop must
also be led into the hook
on the oor support.
Do not fasten the locking
bolt (13) yet.
Assemble the oor support
before you install the iZi Kid
ISOx in your car.
Important: The belt loop
must be led into this hook

1Place the seat into the car by
racing the seat with the front
brace rst.
BeSafe iZi Kid ISOx is installed the same way in the front and
back seat.
Push the oor support down
to the oor. The oor support
(12) must go through the belt
loop (14) and the belt loop
must be led into the hook
on the oor support. See
explanation in the chapter
“BEFORE INSTALLATION”.
Turn the seat into the right
position (with the front brace
against the backrest).
!The BeSafe iZi Kid ISOx can ONLY be installed rearward
facing in cars with ISOx anchorage points.
!The BeSafe iZi Kid ISOx must not be used in the front
passenger seat without deactivating the airbag.

Click the ISOx connectors in
the ISOx anchorages.
Pull both ISOx connectors (7)
as far out as possible.

The switch (4) then goes into
the lowest position and locks
the connectors (7).
Make sure that the two indica-
tors (10) are green, both in the
hole and on the inside of the
release gear.

Adjust the oor support (12)
so that it is in contact with the
oor of the vehicle.
Lock the oor support with the
lockingbolt (13).

Adjust the front brace
outwards with the ratchet
(6). Continue tightening until
the brace is pressed well into
the backrest of the car seat.
Make sure all ISOx indicators are green before you drive.
Make sure the oor support is fully pushed down and
locked.
DO NOT use on a passenger seat tted with
activated frontal airbags.

If possible, push the front seat backwards so that it is in
contact with the child seat. If it is not possible to obtain
contact with the child seat, push the backrest of the front seat
forward so that the distance between child seat and backrest
is minimum 25 cm.
