Weighing yourself and calculating BMI

Switch on the scale (see 5. Weighing only).
•
Then select the storage location where your settings have been saved using the buttons.
Wait until “
0.0
kg” is displayed again. You can now use the scale. Stand still whilst weighing yourself.
The respectively saved settings (age, gender, height), the weight including trend and interpretation as
well as the BMI are displayed.
The scale switches itself o after approx. 15 seconds.
Accessing saved measurements

Switch on the scale (see 5. Weighing only). “
0.0
kg” is displayed after the self-test display.

Select the user memory space by pressing the or buttons several times, if applicable. If you do
not press any other buttons, “
0.0
kg” and the saved settings are displayed after approx. 3 seconds.

Then browse through the memory spaces for saved values one by one using the MEM button. Ini-
tially, the average weight and the BMI are displayed.
•
Pressing the MEM button again allows you to browse through the saved measured values
(“
----
” appears on the display if no values have been saved).
6. Evaluation of results
Body mass index (BMI)
The body mass index (BMI) is a number that is often called upon to evaluate body weight. The number
is calculated from body weight and height, the formula is – body mass index = body weight : height².
The measurement unit for BMI is [kg/m²].
