ALLGEMEINE INFORMATIONEN
Dieses Set ist konzipiert für die Demontage / Montage der Hinterachs-Längslenkerbuchsen am Ford
Fiesta IV / Ford Ka (ab 1996) und kann direkt am Fahrzeug verwendet werden, ohne Demontage des
hinteren Längslenkers.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig. Beachten Sie betriebliche Warn- und Vorsichtshinweise.
Verwenden Sie das Werkzeug ordnungsgemäß und mit Sorgfalt für den Zweck, für den es bestimmt
ist. Nichtbeachtung kann zu Schäden, Verletzungen und zum Erlöschen der Garantie führen. Bitte
verwahren Sie diese Anleitung an einem sicheren Ort für den späteren Gebrauch.
•Verwenden Sie die Werkzeuge nicht, wenn diese beschädigt sind.
•Verwenden Sie die Werkzeuge nur für die Zwecke, für die sie bestimmt sind.
•Verwenden Sie die Werkzeuge nicht, wenn Sie müde sind oder unter dem Einfluss von Alkohol,
Drogen oder Medikamenten stehen.
•Halten Sie die Werkzeuge in einem guten und sauberen Zustand.
•Stellen Sie sicher, dass das angehobene Fahrzeug ausreichend mit Unterstellböcke unterstützt
und gegen Wegrollen gesichert ist. Beachten Sie Hinweise des Fahrzeugherstellers.
•Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Arbeitsbereich gut ausgeleuchtet ist.
•Halten Sie Kinder und unbefugte Personen aus dem Arbeitsbereich fern.
•Tragen Sie eine zugelassene Schutzbrille und enganliegende Kleidung, um Hängenbleiben zu
vermeiden.
•Tragen Sie keinen Schmuck und binden lange Haare zurück.
•Verwenden Sie keine Druckluft-Werkzeuge zur Betätigung der Spindel / Spindelmutter.
•Lagern Sie das Werkzeug an einem trockenen und für Kinder nicht zugänglichen Ort auf.
•Schmieren Sie die Spindel und Spindelmutter vor und nach dem Gebrauch.
•Diese Anleitung dient nur der Veranschaulichung des Werkzeugs, ersetzt keinesfalls ein
fahrzeugspezifisches Werkstatthandbuch, Hinweise zur Demontage / Montage und
Drehmomentwerte entnehmen Sie bitte einem solchen Werkstatthandbuch.
Nichtbeachtung dieser Sicherheits- und Warnhinweise kann zu Beschädigung von Werkzeug oder
Fahrzeug und zu Verletzungen führen.
Die in dieser Anleitung genannten Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise können nicht alle möglicherweise
auftretenden Situationen beinhalten, betreiben Sie das Werkzeug aus diesem Grund immer mit
gesundem Menschenverstand und mit Vorsicht.

DEMONTAGE
1. Verwenden Sie ein Kriechöl zur leichteren Demontage der Buchse.
2. Für die Demontage der Buchse das Werkzeug wie in Abb.1 gezeigt installieren.
3. Sicherstellen, dass die Spindel (1) vor der Installation gut geschmiert ist.
4. Spindelmutter (2) mit einem 24 mm Ringschlüssel gegenhalten.
5. Mit Hilfe eines 24 mm Ratschenschlüssel oder tiefen Steckschlüssel die Spindelmutter (6)
zur Demontage der Buchse im Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
MONTAGE
1. Für die Montage der Buchse das Werkzeug wie in Abb.2 gezeigt installieren.
2. Sicherstellen, dass die Spindel (1) vor der Installation gut geschmiert ist.
3. Spindelmutter (2) mit einem 24 mm Ringschlüssel gegenhalten.
4. Mit Hilfe eines 24 mm Ratschenschlüssel oder tiefen Steckschlüssel die Spindelmutter (6)
zur Montage der Buchse im Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

GENERAL INFORMATIONS
This Set is designed for removing / installing the rear axle mounting bushes on Ford Fiesta IV and Ka
(1996 onwards) and can be used directly on vehicle, without removing the rear trailing link.
SAFETY INFORMATIONS
Read these instructions carefully. Note the safe operational requirements, warnings and cautions.
Use the tool correctly and with care for the purpose for which it is intended. Failure to do so may
cause damage and personal injury and will invalidate the warranty. Please keep instructions safe for
future use.
•Do not use the tool if it damaged.
•Only use the tools for purposes for which it is designed.
•Do not use the tools when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating
medicines.
•Maintain tools in good and clean condition for best and safest performance.
•Ensure that a vehicle which has been jacked up is adequately supported with axle stands and
that the wheels are chocked, refer to the vehicle manufacturer’s service instructions, or a
proprietary manual.
•Ensure that work area has adequate lighting.
•Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
•Wear approved eye protection and suitable clothing to avoid snagging.
•Do not wear jewellery and tie back long hair.
•Do not use air tools to operate the force screw.
•When not in use, store puller in a safe, dry childproof area.
•The force screw must be kept well lubricated.
•This manual is provided as a guide only, refer to the vehicle manufacturer’s service instructions,
or a proprietary manual, to establish the current procedure and data.
Failure to comply with these instructions may result in damage to the puller or vehicle and/or personal
injury.
The warnings, cautions and instructions referred to in this manual cannot cover all possible conditions

REMOVING
1. Thoroughly apply penetrating oil to each bush to aid extraction from the bush housing.
2. To extract the old bush, assemble the tool onto the bush as shown in Fig.1.
3. Ensure that the screw rod (1) is well lubricated prior to assembly.
4. Hold the retention nut (2) with a 24mm ring spanner.
5. Using a ratchet wrench with a 24mm deep socket turn the nut on the force nut assembly (6)
clockwise to drive the bush out of its housing.
INSTALLATION
1. To insert the new bush, assemble the tool and bush onto the bush housing as shown in
Fig.2.
2. Ensure that the screw rod (1) is well lubricated prior to assembly.
3. Hold the retention nut (2) with a 24mm ring spanner.
4. Using a ratchet wrench with a 24mm deep socket turn the nut on the force nut assembly (6)
clockwise to drive the bush into the housing.
