INTRODUCTION:
Congratulations for selecting BH FITNESS as your primary source of fitness. BH
FITNESS treadmills offer many exercise programs that benefit users of all levels
and ages. Your new treadmill is designed to make your workouts more effective
and enjoyable. Please read this entire manual carefully before using your
treadmill. This will allow you to get a full understanding of all the features your
BH FITNESS’ treadmill provides. If you have any questions or concerns, please

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using the treadmill.
Notice: Before using this or any other exercise equipment, consult your family physician
or health care professional to develop a well planned exercise program to fit your health
needs. If you encounter any pain or breathing discomfort while working out, STOP!, and
consult a physician before continuing.
WARNING!
1. Do not wear loose or dangling clothing while using the treadmill.
2. Keep a minimum clearance of 18” on each side and 24” at the rear of the treadmill for
safety.
3. Maximum user weight for this treadmill is T4/T6 – 400 lbs. and T8 – 425 lbs.
4. The treadmill should never be left unattended when it is plugged into an electrical
power supply. Unplug the treadmill from the outlet when it is not in use. It is mandatory
that you unplug the treadmill prior to cleaning to reduce the risk of electric shock,
serious burns, and the risk of injuries.
5. Close supervision is necessary when this unit is used by or near children, invalids,
disabled persons, or those with diminished capacity.
6. Use this unit only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Do not use any attachment not recommended by the manufacturer.
7. Never operate this unit if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
Call your service center for any service concerns before taking your treadmill in for
repair.
8. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
9. Never drop or insert any object into any opening. Never operate the unit with the air
openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
10. Do not use outdoors.
11. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
12. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet.
13. Connect this unit to a properly grounded 110V - 120V, 60 Hz outlet only.
14. The T4 is intended for home use. The T6 and T8 are intended for home use and light
commercial use.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be grounded. If it malfunctions or breaks down, grounding
provides a path of least resistance for electric currents, to reduce the risk of
electric shock. This product is equipped with a cord which has an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an
appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with
all local codes and ordinances.
WARNING! – An improper connection of the equipment grounding
conductor can result in a risk of an electrical shock. Check with a qualified
electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded.
Do not modify the plug provided to you. If it does not fit the outlet, have a
proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
This product is for use on a nominal 110-120 volt, 60 Hz. circuit and has a
grounding plug that looks like the plug illustrated in the figure. Make sure
that the product is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as
the plug. No adapter or extension cord should be used with this product.

1. Tie the attached black guide wire
to the wire connector and feed
the wire slowly through the
bottom right upright (D) opening
and pull the connector from the
top.
2. Secure the left (C) and right (D)
uprights onto the treadmill base
with 8 (a) bolts.
* Ensure that the wire is not pinched
between the upright and the treadmill
base when securing the upright
3. Next slide left hand rail (F) and
right hand rail (G) into the
computer rack assembly (E).

4. Connect the control wire harness
pulled out from the upright tubes
to the control wire harness on the
computer rack assembly.
5. Then place the computer rack
assembly (E) onto the left and
right uprights.
6. Next attach the computer rack
assembly to the uprights using
the 4 (b) bolts.
NOTE:When you fasten the bolts, please
ensure that the wires are not
pinched by the bolts when
securing the upright and handrail
7. Next place bottle holder
mounting cover (H) onto the
computer rack assembly and
fasten them with 1 bolt (d) on
each side.
8. Snap the handrail covers (I, J) in
place as shown and secure with 2
(e) bolts on the cover sides and 1
(c) bolt on the bottom. Repeat
this step for the other side.

9. Connect all the wire harnesses
and cables from the bottle holder
mounting cover onto the
computer console (A).
10. Secure console cover, rear (K)
with 4 bolts (g).
8. Then place the display console
on the bottle holder mounting
cover and fasten it with the 4
nuts (f) as shown.
* Ensure that all wiring is clear of any
‘pinch points’ when securing the
console

a. Pull out the main wire from within
the right upright (D) with attached
guide wire. Then insert both
uprights (C, D) into the frame (B),
and tighten with socket screw (a, b).
2. After tightening the screws, cover
the screws with bolt covers (c) as
shown in the drawing.
3. Insert handrails (H, I) onto the
computer console’s mounting tubes.
Note: While assembling, please make
sure that the holes (apertures) of
the handrails match the holes
(apertures) of the console
welding-base.

4. Place the completed console
welding-base on the uprights as
the drawings shows, and connect
the main wire through the console
welding-base and pull out the wire
from the upper holes of console
welding-base. Then stabilize them
with socket screw (d).
NOTE: When you fasten the bolts,
please ensure that the wires
are not pinched by the bolts
when securing the upright and
handrail.
5. Place the cup/bottle holder (J) on
the console welding-base, and
tighten with Allen-head screw (f).
Assemble the right and left
handrails covers (F, G) with Allen-
head self-tapping screw (e, h, i).
Note: Be careful not to damage the
wires during the process of
tightening the screws.)

6. Place the console set (A) on the
console welding-base and connect
all wires. Hide all wires into the
tube and tighten the Allen-head nut
(g). Finally, attach the rear console
cover (K) with 4 bolts (o).

GETTING STARTED
MOVING THE TREADMILL
Elevating the treadmill (incline) may help make the wheeling of the unit easier. The
treadmill can be moved using the front wheels. Always be sure to use proper lifting
form / technique. Grab the end caps with two hands and slowly lift deck up until you are
in an upright position. Keep the treadmill at that angle and wheel the unit as required.
SAFETY KEY & CLIP
Your BH Fitness treadmill is equipped with a safety key that will disable the treadmill if
it is not in place. You should attach the clip end to your clothing. The magnet end goes
into the recess of the console. If at any time you need to stop the treadmill quickly simply
pull the safety key off the console. This will cut all power to the treadmill and it will
come to a complete stop. To resume your workout, place the safety key back in place.
You will then need to program your workout again.
BEFORE STARTING
Straddle the running belt and stand on the side rails. Insert the safety key and attach the
rope to your clothing. Do not stand on the walking belt while starting or stopping the
treadmill.
KEY FUNCTIONS
START – This key is used to begin any treadmill program or quick start.
STOP – This key is used to stop the treadmill at any time. Press the STOP button and
hold for 3 seconds and the treadmill will reset itself.
ENTER – This key is used to input changes to programs.
This key is used to adjust the speed of the treadmill.
This key is used to adjust the inclination of the treadmill.
These keys are used to change values during program setup. They cannot be
used to adjust the speed and inclination.
INSTANT SPEED/INCLINATION KEYS – You can change the speed or inclination of
the treadmill by pressing one of the Instant Key buttons. Each key represents the assigned
value in either Miles per hour (MPH) or percent grade.

CONSOLE FEEDBACK
TIME – This will read the number of minutes left in the program that you have selected.
In Quick start it will read the number of minutes that you have been exercising.
CALORIES – This reading is the amount of body heat in calories burned during your
workout. As with all pieces of exercise equipment, this is an estimated
value.
INCLINE – Incline will read as a percent of incline.
ATTENTION:
Additional information about Incline:
1. When the safety key is removed and put back, whatever the current
position of incline, it will not return automatically to zero. The user must
press the Start key to return the incline to zero.
2. When the user turns off power and then turns it back on, whatever the
current position of incline, it will not return automatically to zero. The user
must press the Start key to return the incline to zero.
3. In the standby position, press the Stop key for 5 seconds and whatever the
current position of incline, it will return to zero.

PULSE – Pulse will read in beats per minute (BPM).
SPEED – This is how fast you are moving in terms of miles per hour (MPH).
DISTANCE – Total distance traveled during your workout displayed in miles.
USING HEART RATE
GRIP PULSE – To periodically check your heart rate, grasp the sensors at the base of the
console. The PULSE LED will flash and after about 9 seconds your pulse will be shown
in the pulse window.
CHEST STRAP – Using your chest strap, you can monitor your heart rate at any time
during your workout. The heart rate strap will send your heart rate to the display and your
pulse will be displayed. The transmitter is more effective if worn while you are sweating.
QUICK START
1. Stand on the side rails.
2. Turn on POWER.
3. Weight button LED will be flashing, press button to select.
4. Default weight (lbs) will be flashing in the display window.
5. Adjust weight with the or keys at the upper console.
6. Press START and unit will move at 0.5 MPH.
7. Adjust Speed with the keys at the lower console.
8. Adjust Incline with the keys at the lower console.
TO STOP
1. Step off running belt onto the side rails.
2. Press STOP. The running belt will stop.
Note: To stop immediately, pull out the safety key from the safety key recess and the
treadmill will stop abruptly.

WORKOUT PROGRAM DETAILS
Your BH FITNESS treadmill will provide both manual controlled and factory installed
preset workout programs.
In MANUAL, you control the speed and/or inclination at your discretion.
For QUICK START exercise with Time setting, refer to Manual Program.
In PRESET programs, the speed and/or inclination will change in accordance with the
program’s profile (as illustrated on the following pages). There are 30 stages in each
preset program, first 3 stages are WARM UP, and the last 3 stages are COOL DOWN.
(No warm up or cool down in 9-Hole).
In any program, pressing the Stop key will pause the current program. To resume the
current program press the Start key. To exit the current program and return to the standby
mode, press the Stop key again.
MANUAL PROGRAM SET UP
1. Stand on the side rails.
2. Press Manual program button upper left corner of the console.
3. An LED will light up to indicate the program selected.
4. Time will be flashing.
5. Adjust time with the or keys at the upper console.
6. Press ENTER at upper console to start.
7. Adjust Speed with or instant speed keys at the lower console.
8. Adjust Incline with or instant incline keys at the lower console.
PRESET PROGRAM SETUP
1. Stand on the side rails.
2. Press program buttons as shown below located at the upper left corner of the console.
An LED will light up indicating the program selected.
Note:Program 9-Hole, skip to step 5.
3. Time light will be flashing on the display.
4. Adjust time with the or keys at the upper console.
5. Press ENTER ~ Speed will be flashing.
6. Adjust speed with or keys at the upper console.
7. Press ENTER ~ Incline will be flashing.

8. Adjust incline with or keys at the upper console.
9. Press START to begin.
HRC – Heart Rate Program Setup: Use with Chest Strap
1. Stand on the side rails.
2. Press button and the LED will light up.
3. Age will be flashing, adjust Age with the or keys at the upper console.
4. Press ENTER key at the upper console ~ Pulse (BPM) will be flashing.
5. Adjust the Pulse (BPM) with the or keys at the upper console.
6. Press ENTER key at the upper console ~ Time will be flashing.
7. Adjust the Time with the or keys at the upper console.
8. Press ENTER at the upper console to start.
Note: See Page 23 for Target Heart Rate instructions
CUSTOM PROGRAMS (4 Custom programs)
1. Stand on the side rails.
2. Press any of the buttons shown below located at the upper left corner of the console.
An LED will light up indicating the program selected.
3. Time will be flashing in the display window.
4. Adjust the Time with the or keys at the upper console.
5. Press ENTER at upper console ~ Display will show SE01 (Segment #1).
6. Adjust the speed of this segment with the keys at lower console.
7. Adjust the incline of this segment with the keys at lower console.
8. Press ENTER at upper console ~ Display will show SE02 (Segment #2).
9. Repeat steps 5, 6 and 7 for up to SE30 (30 segments).
10. Press START at lower console at any time to end.
Custom programs will be stored in the system for easy retrieval unless you
reprogram the segments of the custom program.
Note: You can program up to 30 exercise level segments; however, you can stop at any
segment you desire. The segment you end at to segment 30 will be run at default incline
and speed of 0% and 0.5 MPH respectively.
However, you can edit the program at the segment you are currently on and the built-in
software will automatically adjust the rest of the segments to match.
