Thank you for purchasing the most versatile and
portable electronic magnifier available today.
In this simple guide, we will show you how to setup and
start to use your new Shoppa, then after that there are
many different ways to use it. For example, you can lay
it on a newspaper and slide it along to read. With the
camera in your hand, you can flip out the leg at the
back of the Shoppa and stand it at the top of a book
while reading. You can even take it to the library to
assist you while choosing a book! At the supermarket
you can take a close look at boxes, bottles, jars or
packets; in fact just about anything in your hand or on
the shelf. At a restaurant you can relax and enjoy the
menu. The Shoppa is of course great for hobbies too.
If the battery runs out of power while you are out, sim-
ply clip in a spare battery. And, for added safety when
carrying your Shoppa, always use the wrist strap.

The Bierley Shoppa carries a one year worldwide
warranty, effective from the original date of purchase by
the consumer.
For warranty claims, the complete product and
accessories must be returned with the original purchase
receipt to your local supplier or directly to Bierley in the
UK.
Warranty void in the event of damage or abuse caused,
in the opinion of Bierley, by general wear and tear,
abuse, impact, neglect or by connecting other devices,
batteries or power supplies to the unit.

Setup
ONE
Unpack the monitor, camera, power supply, battery and wrist
strap.
TWO
Clip the battery into the battery holder at the back of the
monitor.
THREE
Loop the strap through the “Wrist Strap Hole” and
ensure it is tight.




FOUR
Plug the camera in the “Camera Socket” at the left side of
the monitor.

FIVE
Slot the camera into the holder at the top of the monitor
Charge
ONE
Plug the power supply into a convenient mains
electricity wall socket
.

TWO
Insert the plug at the end of the cable into the
“DC IN”.

THREE
Slide the “Main Power Switch” on at the left side of the moni-
tor.


FOUR
Ideally, turn the monitor to “Standby” for a quicker charge
time.

FIVE
The RED charge light will turn GREEN when the
battery is charged.

NOTE: Press the “Standby” button once and wait
2 ~ 3 seconds for the image to appear.
To change magnification or
focus, simply turn the white ring on the
camera clockwise or anti-clockwise up
to one full turn, as needed. Do not pull the white ring off.

Magnification
Hold the camera off the page or at 45 degrees to view more
text or vertically for maximum magnification.
