BiGuard 10 is a rack-mountable device integrated with cutting-edge security technology including VPN and
Firewall that enable you to connect your network to the Internet securely without worrying about intruders'
attacks. This security gateway is perfectly designed for small offices requiring application-based network
solutions with low-capital investment to communicate with headquarters and mobile workers. Robust VPN
functions support office users to create remote access of multiple site-to-site encrypted private connections
over the public Internet. The complete firewall features are built in to protect your network from intruders and
Internet attacks. With the growing demand for Voice over IP and multimedia applications such as video
broadcasting from SMB and SOHO users, the device features SIP pass-through and IGMP Snooping to
facilitate the needs. The Quality of Service feature ensures a smooth net connection for inbound and
outbound data with minimal traffic congestion. A rich-featured set in one compact unit makes BiGuard 10 the
best and most affordable choice for small offices.
Virtual Private Network Support
BiGuard 10 supports comprehensive and robust IPSec & PPTP VPN protocols for business users to
establish private encrypted tunnels over the public Internet to ensure that data is transmitted securely among
multiple sites, such as branch office or remote dial-up. The VPN feature supports up to 10 simultaneous
IPSec VPN connections with throughput up to 20 Mbps+, and 4 simultaneous PPTP VPN connections with
throughput up to 10 Mbps.
Rich Firewall Security to Protect Your Network
BiGuard 10 is an intelligent broadband sharing gateway with integrated firewall protection, while simultaneously
offering features such as Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), Denial of Service (DoS) prevention and filtering.
Built with Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), the router enables users to determine whether or not a given data
packet is allowed to pass through the firewall to the private LAN. The SPI feature protects against hackers'
attacks from Denial of Service to allow private LAN connected to the Internet. Furthermore, the firewall
function provides e-mail alert service to notify you whenever attacks occur.
Traffic Prioritization and Bandwidth Management
The Quality of Service (QoS) feature helps users to manage the bandwidth and prioritize data transfer
effectively. It gives one full control over the traffic of any type of data, ensuring important data and
bandwidth-consuming applications such as video conferencing, customer information or FTP sharing, can
move through the router at instantaneous speed, even when under heavy tasking. The speed for inbound
and outbound data passed through the router can be controlled to ensure that users do not saturate the
bandwidth with their browsing activities.
