Recommended separaon distances between portable and mobile RF communicaons equipment
and the SC-2004-OC/SC-2004FC-OC/SC-2008-OC
The SC-2004-OC/SC-2004FC-OC/SC-2008-OC are intended for use in an electromagnec environment in which radiated RF disturbances are
controlled. The customer of user of the SC-2004-OC/SC-2004FC-OC/SC-2008-OC can help prevent electromagnec interference by maintain-
ing a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communicaons equipment (transmiers) and the SC-2004-OC/SC-2004FC-OC/SC-
2008-OC as recommended below, according to the maximum output power of the communicaons equipment.
Rated maximum output power
of transmier
W
Separaon distance according to frequency of transmier
m
150 kHz to 80 MHz 80 MHz to 800 MHz 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz
0.01 0.12 0.12 0.23
0.1 0.38 0.38 0.73
11.2 1.2 2.3
10 3.8 3.8 7.3
100 12 12 23
For transmiers rated at a maximum output power not listed above, the recommended separaon distance d in meters (m) can be esmated
using the equaon applicable to the frequency of the transmier, where p is the maximum output power rang of the transmier in was
(W) according to the transmier manufacturer.
Note 1: At 80 MHz, the separaon distance for the higher frequency range applies.
Note 2: These guidelines may not apply in all situaons. Electromagnec propagaon is aected by absorpon and reecon from struc-
tures, objects and people.
Guidance and Manufacturer’s Declaraon—Electromagnec Immunity
The SC-2004-OC/SC-2004FC-OC/SC-2008-OC are intended for use in the electromagnec environment specied below. The customer or the
user of the SC-2004-OC/SC-2004FC-OC/SC-2008-OC should assure that it is used in such an environment.
