Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the SC416 BIOS Living Premium Digital Scale.This Digital
Scale was developed with state-of-the-art technology and digital electronics; this
precision device has a capacity of 400 lbs / 181 kgs, and is equipped with an auto
power off function.
Features:

Starting your Scale
1.The Lithium batteries are included with your SC416. Remove the battery cover
 fromthebackofthescale,byliftingthetab.Removetheprotectivelmfrom 
battery and close the battery cover.
2. Before starting the scale, change the unit of measurement. On the back of the scale
there is a small switch labeled “kg” and “lb,” move the switch to the desired position.
Operation
1.Placethescaleonahard,atsurface(avoidcarpetorothersoftsurfaces).
NOTE: If the scale is placed on a soft surface, such as a carpet, the results may be
inaccurate or an error message may occur.
2.Turn ON the scale by lightly tapping on the scale platform.Wait a few seconds until
the display prompts to “0.0” on the screen, the scale is now ready to be used.
NOTE: The display will show “Err” if you step on the scale before it shows “0”. If
this occurs repeat step 2.

3.Stepontothescaleslowlyandgently(donotjumpontothescale).Standvertically
without swaying and place your feet evenly apart.
4.When the scale is taking your measurement ---- is rotating on the screen. When
your weight is displayed and stabilized your measurement has been taken. The
measurement will stay on the screen for approximately 10 seconds and then the scale
will turn off.
Troubleshooting
Error warnings will appear on the screen, as shown, if the following occur.

Lo Indicates low battery
ERR Indicates error during the reading
Advice for Use and Care
• Avoid using platform when wet - platform will be slippery when wet. Keep scale dry.
• Avoid an extremely high or low temperature environment.
• Avoid excessive impact or vibration to the unit.
• Clean the scale with a damp cloth and avoid water getting inside scale.
