Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the BIOS Living Digital Bamboo Scale. This scale was developed with state-of-
the-art electronics, has a capacity of 397 lbs / 180 kg, and is equipped with an automatic OFF function and
automatic zero reset.

Starting your Scale
1. Insert the included batteries into the compartment located on the top of the back of the scale.
NOTE: Make sure to enter battieries following the correct polarity to avoid damage to the scale.
2. Before starting the scale, change the unit of measurement. On the back of the scale there is a small
button labeled “Unit”. Press the button to choose the desired measurement.

Operation
1. Placethescaleonahard,atsurface(avoidcarpetorothersoftsurfaces).
NOTE:Ifthescaleisplacedonasoftsurface,suchasacarpet,oranunevenoortheresultsmaybe
inaccurate or an error message may occur.
2. Step onto the scale slowly and gently (do not jump onto the scale). Stand vertically without swaying
and place your feet evenly apart.
3. Yourweightwillbedisplayedonthescreen;itwillashthreetimestoindicatethemeasurementiscomplete.
4. Step off the scale, a new user can use the scale immediately afterwards.
5. The scale will automatically turn off after 8 seconds when not in use.

180 kg) remove weight immediately from scale

Step onto the scale slowly and gently (do not jump onto the

Care and Maintenance
• Avoid using platform when wet - platform will be slippery when wet. If the scale is wet, wipe dry
immediately.
• Avoid an extremely high or low temperature environment.
• Avoid excessive impact or vibration to the unit.
• Clean the scale with a damp cloth and avoid water getting inside scale.
• Remove batteries when the scale is not being used for long periods of time.
• Store scale in horizontal position.
