Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the BIOS Living Electronic Glass Scale. This scale was
developed with state-of-the-art technology and digital electronics; this precision device
has a capacity of 400 lbs / 181 kg, and is equipped with an automatic OFF function.

Starting your Scale
1. The lithium battery (CR2032) is included with your bath scale. Remove the battery cover
 fromthebackofthescale,byliftingthetab.Removetheprotectivelmfrombattery.
2. To change the unit from LBS / KG / ST, inside the battery compartment there is a
toggle switch, move the toggle switch to the desired position.
Operation
1.Placethescaleonahard,atsurface(Alwaysweighyourselfonthesamescale
 placedonthesameoorsurface).
NOTE: If the scale is placed on a soft surface, such as a carpet or on an uneven
 oor,theresultsmaybeinaccurateoranerrormessagemayoccur.
2.Turn ON the scale by tapping the scale in the middle with your foot. When the
scale turns on and 0.0 is displayed on the screen, stand on the scale platform to
take your measurement.
3.Whenthescaleashesyourreadingitisnishedtakingyourmeasurement.The
scale will automatically turn off after 8 seconds.

Troubleshooting
Error warnings will appear on the screen, as shown, if the following occur.

Lo Indicates low battery
ERR Indicates error during the reading

If the scale is overloaded - Over capacity
(400 lbs / 181 kg) remove weight
immediately from scale
Advice for Use and Care
• Avoid using platform when wet - platform will be slippery when wet. Keep scale dry.
• Avoid an extremely high or low temperature environment.
• Avoid excessive impact or vibration to the unit.
• Clean the scale with a damp cloth and avoid water getting inside scale.
• Do not store the scale in an upright position when not in use, as this will drain
the battery.
• Remove the battery if the scale is not being used for a long period of time.
