IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Child entrapment and suffocation are not problems of the past. Junked or abandoned appli-
ances are still dangerous .. even if they will “just sit in the garage a few days”
 Before ou throw awa our old Wine Cooler: Take off the door, Leave the shelves in
place so that children may not climb inside easily.
 Never allow children to operate, play with or crawl inside the appliance.
 Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or
explosion.
 Do not store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapours and liquids in the vicinity of
this or any other appliance. The fumes can cause a fire hazard or explosion.

 Do not use electrical appliances inside the appliance.
 Do not damage the refrigerant circuit pipes.

cleaning the appliance ensure that the refrigerant circuit is not damaged. In the event of
damage, make sure that there are no ignition sources nearby and keep the room well ven-
tilated.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 Before using our Wine Cooler
Remove the exterior and interior packing materials.
Before connecting the Wine Cooler to the power source, let it stand upright with open doors
for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling
system due to handling during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
 Installation of our Wine Cooler
This appliance is designed to be for free standing or built-in (fully recesses) installation.
Place your Wine Cooler on a surface floor which is strong enough to support it when fully
loaded. To level your Wine Cooler, adjust the front levelling leg at the bottom of the Wine
Cooler.
Standard EN 378 specifies that the room in which you install your appliance must have a
volume of 1 m³per 8g of R600a refrigerant used in the appliance, so as to avoid the forma-
tion of inflammable gas/air mixture in the room where the appliance is located in the event
of a leak in the refrigerant circuit. The quantity of the refrigerant used in your appliance is
indicated on the type plate on the inside of the appliance.
Locate the Wine Cooler away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radia-
tor, etc.) Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase elec-
trical consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to per-
form properly.
Avoid locating the appliance in damp areas.
Plug the Wine Cooler into an exclusive, properly installed grounded wall outlet. Any ques-
tions concerning power and grounding should be directed to a certified electrician or an
authorised product service centre.

OPERATING YOUR WINE COOLER
The Wine Cooler should be placed in where the ambient temperature is between 32-95 degrees
Fahrenheit (0-35°C). If the ambient temperature is above or below this range, the performance of
the unit may be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme hot or cold conditions may
cause interior temperatures to fluctuate. The range of 40-65 degrees Fahrenheit (5-18°C) may not
be reached.
Recommended temperatures for Wine Cooling
Red Wines 58-65°F (15-18°C)
Dry/white wines 48-57°F (9-15°C)
Sparkling wines 40-47°F (5-9°C)
 ON/OFF power
To turn the appliance ON or OFF, press the POWER button.
 Setting the temperature controls
Each cooling compartment of the Wine Cooler (upper and lower) is independently con-
trolled. To set the temperature:
Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet. In the event of a power interruption,
all previous temperature settings are automatically erased and each compartment will de-
fault to a preset temperature.
You can set the temperature for each compartment by pushing the SET UPPER or SET
LOWER button. Each depression of the buttons will scroll through the available tempera-
ture settings ( for each compartment) in increments of 1 degree.
When you store mostly red wines, the temperature you control by pushing the button,
needs to be set at between 58-65°F (15-18°C).
When you store mostly white wines, the temperature needs to be set at between 48-57°F
(9-15°C).
When you store mostly sparkling wines, the temperature needs to be set at between 40-
70°F (5-9°C).
You can select temperature display setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius degree by pushing
the SET UPPER and SET LOWER button at the same time for 5 seconds.
Upper compartment: The temperature setting can be adjusted from 41°F to 64°F (5°C-18°C)
Lower compartment: The temperature setting can be adjusted from 41°F to 64°F (5°C-18°C)
NOTE: If the unit is unplugged, power lost, or turned off, you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before re-
starting the appliance. If you attempt to start before this time delay the Wine Cooler will
not start.
When you use the Wine Cooler for the first time or restart the Wine Cooler after having
been shut off for a long time, let the unit run for at least 8h to get the desired tempera-
ture.
 Interior Light
You can turn the interior light ON or OFF by pushing the LIGHT button.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
 Cleaning our Wine Cooler
Turn off the power, unplug the appliance and remove all items, including shelves and rack.
Wash the inside surfaces with warm water and baking soda solution. The solution should be
about two tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water.
Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution.
Please note that, as can happen with other forms of storage, slight mould may form de-
pending on the type of adhesive on the label of the bottles. This can be rectified by care-
fully cleaning any adhesive residues off the bottles.
Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning the area of controls or any
electrical parts.
Wash the outside cabinet with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Rinse well and wipe
dry with a soft clean cloth.
 Power failure
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature
of your appliance, if you minimize the number of times the door is opened. If the power is
going to be off for a longer period of time, you need to take the proper steps to protect the
contents.
 Vacation time
Short vacations: leave the Wine Cooler operating during vacations of less than 3 weeks.
Long vacations: If the appliance will not be used for several month, remove all items and
turn off the appliance. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly. To prevent odour or mould
growth, leave door ajar, blocking it open, if necessary.

• Securely tape down all loose items, such as shelves, inside your appliance
• Turn the adjustable leg up to the base to avoid damage
• Tape the door shut
• Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright position during transport. Also
protect outside of appliance with a blanket or something similar.
 Energ saving tips
The Wine Cooler should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat produc-
ing appliances or direct sunlight.

This packaging is made of recyclable materials.
Please return the packaging material to an official collection point.
Ensure that the refrigerant circuit is not damaged when the appliance that is no longer
needed is taken away for disposal.
Details of the refrigerant used can be found on the type plate.
Appliances which are no longer needed must be disposed of in a professional and
appropriate way, in accordance with the current local regulation and law.
