remotehandset,do nottouchthe monitor
by your hands. It may harmyour fingers.

INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
Notes:
Choosethe mountinglocationwhere
theunitwill not interferewiththenormal
drivingfunction of the driver.
Beforefinally installingtheunit, connect
the wiring temporarily and makesure
it isall connected up properlyand the
unit and the system work properly.
Use only the parts includedwith the
unitto ensure properinstallation. The
use of unauthorizedpartscan cause
malfunctions.
Consult with your nearest dealer if
installationrequiresthedrillingof holes
or other modificationsof thevehicle.
Installthe unitwhere itdoes notget in
the driver'sway and cannot injurethe
passengerifthere isa sudden stop,
likean emergency stop.
If installationangle exceeds30"from
horizontal,the unit might not give its
optimum performance.
Avoid installingthe unit where itwould
besubjectto hightemperature, such
as from direct sunlight,or from hot air,
from the heater, or where itwould be
subjectto dust, dirt or excessive
vibration.
DINFRONTIREAR-MOUNT
This unit can be properly installedeither
from "Front" (conventionalDIN Front-
mount)or "Rear" (DIN Rear-mount
installation, utilizingthreaded screw holes
at the sides of the unit chassis). For
details, refertothe following illustrated
installationmethods.

Before installthe unit, please removethe
twoscrews onthe back of the unit.

DIN FRONT-MOUNT (Method A)
InstallationOpening
This unitcan beinstalledinany dashboard
havingan opening as show below:
Installingthe unit
Be sure youtest all connectionsfirst, and
thenfollowthese stepsto installthe unit.
1. Makesure the ignitionisturned off,
andthen disconnectthe cablefrom
the vehicle battery's negative
(-)
terminal.
2. Disconnectthe wire harnessandthe
antenna.
3. Lift the top of the outertrim ringthen
pull it out to removeit.
4. Thetwo suppliedkeys releasetabs
insidethe unit's sleeve soyou can
remove it. One key isfor the right side
andthe other isforthe left side. Insert
the keysas far asthey will go (withthe
notchesfacing up) intothe appropriate
slots at the middle left and right sides
of the unit. Then slide the sleeve off
the back of the unit.
Outer Trim
5. Mountthesleeve byinsertingthesleeve
intotheopeningof the dashboardand
bendopenthetabs locatedaroundthe
sleevewith a screwdriver. Not all tabs
will be able to makecontact, so
examinewhich ones will be most
effective. Bendingopenthe appropriate
tabs behindthe dashboard to secure
the sleeve in place.

6. Reconnectthe wire harnessandthe
antenna and becareful notto pinch
any wires or cables.
7. Slidethe unit.intothe sleeve until it
locks into place.
8. To further securethe unit, usethe
suppliedmetalstrapto securetheback
of the unit in place. Usethe supplied
hardware (Hex Nut(5mm) and Spring

Washer)to attachoneend of the strap
tothe mounting bolt on the backof
the unit. If necessary,bendthe metal
straptofit your vehicle'smounting
area. Then usethe supplied hardware
(Tapping Screw (5x25mm)and Plain
Washer)toattachthe other end of
metalstrapto a solidmetal part of the
vehicle underthedashboard. This strap
also helpsensure proper electrical
groundingof the unit.

9. Reconnectthe cabletothe vehicle
battery's negative
(-) terminal. Then
replacethe outer trim ring.

INSTALLATION
Removingthe unit
1. Makesure the ignitionisturned off,
andthen disconnectthe cablefrom
the vehicle battery's negative
(-)
terminal.
2. Removethe metal strap attached the
back of the unit (if attached).
3. Lift the top of the outertrim ringthen
pull it out to removeit.
4. Insert both of the suppliedkeysinto
the slotsat the middleleft and right
sides of the unit,then pullthe unit out
of the dashboard.

Note: The Brake 1 wire isdesignedtoconnectto the ground wire, andthe Brake 1

OPERATION
Adjusting the loud
- Inloud mode, use VOLUME + I -
buttons(7&8) or VOL 4 / b buttons
(47) to switch betweenloudon and off.
When LOUDon, "LOUD" will show on
the display (4).
- Directlypress LOUD button (52)to
reinforcethebassoutput. Pressit again
to releasethe function.
Adjusting the equalization
- Inequalizationmode, use VOLUME
+ I - buttons (7&8)or VOL 4 / b
buttons(47) to switch betweenthe
following modeand the corresponding
information appearson the LCD (4).

time is appeared on the LCD (4),press it
againto returnto frequencyshowing.
Holdingdown
DlSP button(44)for several
seconds, andthetime for hoursis blinking
on thedisplay (4), then press

Note: When you first press DlSP button
(44), the clock will appear on the LCD,
after several seconds, the clock will
disappear and the LCD enter into
frequencyshowing if you don't operate
it.Then you press
DlSP buttonagain, the
LCDremains the previousstateandthe
clock will not appear.You should press
DlSP buttononce again to display the
clock.
Radio Operation
Switchingto radio mode
Press MODE button (12) on thefront
panel or MODE button (42)on the
remotecontrolto select radio mode,
the radio modeappears in the display
together with the memory bandand
frequency.
Selecting the frequency band
Press BND button (11) on the front
panel or
BAND button (40)on remote
control to select desired band.The
reception bandwill change inthe
followingorder:

Duringradio mode, press TUNE +

Setting memory
Press preset memory buttons(1-6)(15)
on the front panel or Radio Preset
buttons(1-6) (37) on remotecontrolto
preset stationsat radio mode.Withthis
system, a total of 30 stationscan be
stored inthe memoryof six buttons.
Each band stores up to six preset stations.
The stationsmight be FMI, FM2, FM3,
AM1 and AM2 band. The operation is
as below:
- Store in Memory
Press and holddesired memory
locationbuttonfor several seconds.
The current listeningstationwill be
stored intothe number button.
- Retrievea Preset Station
Press any one of the buttons (15)
on the front panelor (37)on remote
controlto retrievea station which
had beenstored in the memory in
advancethe chosen number is
shown on display.

OPERATION
Automatically memory storing &
program scanning
- Automatic memory storing
Press ASIPS button(48)for several
seconds,the radiosearches from
the current frequency and checks
the signal strengthuntil one cycle
search isfinished. And then 6
strongeststationsare storedintothe
corresponding preset number button.
- Programscanning
Press
ASIPS button (48) shortly to
scan presetstation. When the field
strength level is morethan the
threshold levelof stop level. The
radio is holdingat that preset
numberfor several seconds with
releasemute,then searches again.
LocalIDistance
Press LOC button (38) on remote
controlto select between localand
distant stations.
Localsettingfor receptionof strong station,
and adistantsettingfor reception of weaker
stations.This function iseffect during AUTO
SEEK operation.
MonoIStereo
Press MOIST button (16) on the front
panelor STIMO button(53) on remote
controlto select monoor stereo mode.
You can sometimes improve reception
of distant stationsby selecting mono
operation.
Scan
Press -I-- (SCAN) button(39) on
remotecontrolto set the function to
scan mode,which scanningto higher
frequencystation with receivablesignal
and keepon each stationfor several
seconds. At this time, pressany one
of the buttons(15) on the front panel
or (37) on remotecontrol, the current
scanned stationwill be stored intothe
corresponding number button,then it
keepson scanning other stations.

CDC operation
Switchingto CDC mode
Press MODE button (12)on the front
panel or
MODE button (42) on the
remotecontrolto select CDC mode.
Selecting track
Press TUNWRACK - button(14) on the
front panelto moveto the previoustrack;
press
TUNIEITRACK + button (1 3) on
thefront panelto moveto the next track.
The track number shows on the display

Pausing playing
Press PAU button (28) on the front
panelto pauseCD play. Press it again
to resumeplay.
Previewingall tracks
Press INT button(29)onthefront panel
to playthe first 10seconds of each
trackonthecurrentdisc. Press it again
to stop intro and listento track.
Repeatingthe same track
Press RPT button (30)on the front
panelto continuously repeat the same
trackon the current disc. Press it again
to stop repeating.
Playingall tracks in random
Press RDM button (31) on the front
panelto play all tracks on the current
CD in randomorder. Press it again to
cancelthe mode. In the courseof
playingatrack, press
TUNE+I- buttons
(13&14)to play anothertrackin random
order.
Selecting disc
Press CD+ button (33)on the front
panelto select next disc and press
CD- button (32)on the front panel to
select previousdisc.

OPERATION
OPERATING WHEN THE MONITOR
STRETCHING OUT
When the monitorstretchesout, the front
panelof the unit is in state
13 (see Fig.B),
you can operate the unitby usingthe
current menu displayed on the 6.5 inch
color TFT display (5).
And if the unit is connected to other

unit throughthe cable with the 13-pindin
plugon eachterminal, there have radio
mode,
N modeand CDC modeto be
selected. Whenthe unit isn't connected
to other
N unitthrough the cable, there
have radio mode,
AV mode and CDC
modeto be selected.

TV OPERATION
CONTROL & FUNCTION KEYS
This type can't be usedseparately and it must be usedwith other specialsystemwith
the 13-pindin plug. The unit isconnected to another system through the 13-pindin
socket (2). And the unit also can receive
lV signal through the antennainputjack (1).

DIVERSITYANTENNA INPUT
There are four antenna input jacks (1)for antenna input.
2. MONITOR
Plugthe system's 13-pin DIN plug into the 13-pin din socket (2)of the unit.
Switching to N mode
Press MODE button (12) on the front
panelor MODE button (42)on remote
control to select
lV mode and the
memorychannelwill show on the TFT
display (5).
Selectingreceiving mode
In TV mode, press NIAV button (21)
or (41)to select among lV/AVl/AV2/
RGB.The corresponding state will
show on the TFT display (5). When
you connectthe RGBterminals on the
back of the unit tothe corresponding
RGBsystem, then press
MODE button
on remotecontroltoselect RGB mode,
the RGB signal will appear on the
screen.
Note: You can receivethelV/AVl/AV2
mode when you brakethe car. If you
are driving the car, you can't receive
the picture signal inTV/AVl/AV2 just
receivethe sound signal, it is blue
screen then.
Selectingchannel
- Press CHANNEL A button (24) or
TUNICH A buttonon remotecontrol
to choose channelupward and or
press CHANNEL V button(25) or
TUNICH V buttonon remotecontrol
to choose channeldownward.
- The numeric buttons (0,l-9) (36)
allow you to select the
correspondingchanneldirectly.
- Pressdigitalselect button (-/--) (39)
cooperativelyused with numeric
buttons to select channel desired.
Forexample, whenyou want select
16channel, press

between "-" and "--" when the "--
" appearson the display, you can
