8-INPUT RECORDING: Press MULTI-TRACK. Press EFFECTS to see COMPRESSORs and EQs.
EFFECTS: Press EFFECTS, press GUITAR, BASS, MULTI and STEREO to show EFFECT types.
CHANNEL EDIT: Press COMP and EQ. Use the KNOBS to adjust settings.
PROGRAMMABLE RHYTHM GUIDE: Press EDIT to SHOW drum and bass arrangement.
Show the Harmony Function in the Vocal Tool Box
1) Press the VOCAL TOOL BOX button so it is lit.
2) Press MARKER search to get to “Chors” Marker, then PLAY.
3) Press the VOCAL TOOL BOX button to toggle ON/OFF. When finished, press STOP.
Rhythm Guide: Create a Drum Pattern
1) Press ARRANGEMENT [PATTERN] so it’s OFF. Press EDIT to open PATTERN
display.
2) Press F4 EDIT to open the drum pattern display.
3) Use the DIAL to change “P” (preset) to “S” (song). Press ENTER.
4) Use the DIAL to select a pattern number. Press ENTER.
5) Press F1 REALTIME.
6) Press the round TRACK buttons to play the drum kit.
7) Cursor to “KIT”. Use the DIAL to change kit.
8) Cursor to “QTZ” to adjust quantizing.
9) Cursor to “METRO” to adjust the volume of the metronome.
10) Press PLAY to start pattern loop recording. Press STOP when finished.
An easy way to create or edit patterns is to use the STEP EDITOR:
1) To edit the pattern you just created, press F2 STEP. Press PLAY.
2) Move the cursor to an empty box in the grid and press ENTER to add a drum hit.
3) Cursor to another drum hit, and use the DIAL to change its loudness.
Load the Demo Song
1) Press UTILITY. Press F2 SONG.
2) Use the DIAL to select “Baby Calls”. Press ENTER. Answer NO to “Save”.
3) Press PLAY. Use the Track Mixer to mix the song.
4) Press the EQ, Compressor and FX buttons. Use KNOBS to control their parameter

Show Channel Edit
1) Press EQ under CHANNEL EDIT.
2) Press TRACK button 9/10.
3) Use KNOBS to cut or boost LOWs, MIDs, and HIGHs.
4) Press F3 MID.
5) Rotate KNOB 4 to change “Q” of MID filter.
6) Press COMP.
7) Use KNOBS to control THRESHOLD, ATTACK, and RELEASE of COMPRESSOR.
Automatic Level Calibration
1) Press MULTI-TRACK.
2) Press LEVEL CALIBRATION.
3) PLAY INSTRUMENT CALIBRATION.

Show Multi-Track Effects
1) Press MULTI-TRACK.
2) Press EFFECTS.
3) Press F2 EDIT.
4) Use CURSOR to select LCUT, COMP, or EQ.
5) Press ENTER to enable editing.

1) Press MULTI-TRACK.
2) Press EFFECTS.
3) Use DIAL to scroll through LCUT, COMP, or EQ.
4) Use VALUE 1 KNOB to edit parameters.
