Braun BN0278 automatic watch
An automatic or self-winding watch is a mechanical watch in
which the mainspring is wound automatically as a result of the
natural motion of the wearer’s arm, making regular manual
winding unnecessary. The winding of the automatic mechanism
depends on the intensity of your movements. When you receive
the watch for the first time it may not be running. This is because
the watch has no power to operate. The watch must be given an
initial manual wind with 15 to 20 turns of the crown and then while
the watch is worn it will wind itself and maintain the correct time.
When setting the time please ensure the hands only move in a
clockwise direction to avoid damage. The accuracy tolerance of
our automatic movements is -40 to +40 seconds per day, worn
under normal conditions.
Automatic watch power reserve
In order to maintain power the watch may be taken off the wrist
for a maximum period of 30 hours. If this period is exceeded the
movement will stop and another manual wind will be necessary. It
must be remembered that if the watch is worn while sleeping the
movement of the wrist is insufficient to maintain the automatic
winding function.
Caution: Do not overwind your watch as this may cause damage
to the movement.

Setting the date
To ensure that the date indicator jumps to the next day at
midnight (and not at 12h noon), set the date first to the previous
day then forward the hands until the date jumps. Now you know
that the hands are positioned at midnight and you can set the
hands to the correct (a.m. or p.m.) time.
Note: The date is changed during the period between 6:00pm
and 6:00am. Do not set the date between these times as it will
not alter correctly on the following day and it may cause damage
to the movement.

guarantee is valid in those countries where the watch is officially
being sold. This guarantee does not include bracelet/straps and
lenses. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse

Eine automatische oder selbstaufziehende Uhr ist eine
mechanische Uhr, in der sich die Hauptfeder durch die Bewegung
des Armes ihres Trägers selbst aufzieht und ein Aufziehen per
Hand unnötig macht. Von der Stärke Ihrer Bewegungen hängt
das Aufziehen des automatischen Mechanismus ab. Die Uhr
geht vielleicht noch nicht, wenn Sie diese erhalten, weil sie noch
keine Energie hat, um zu funktionieren. Die Uhr braucht einen
Aufziehvorgang von 15-20 Drehungen der Krone und wird sich
dann von selbst aufziehen und die genaue Zeit anzeigen, wenn
sie getragen wird. Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie die Zeiger
nur im Uhrzeigersinn verstellen, um Schäden zu vermeiden.
Unter normalen Tragebedingungen liegt die Genauigkeit des
automatischen Uhrwerkes bei -40 bis +40 Sekunden pro Tag.
Automatische Energiespeicherung
Die Uhr kann maximal für eine Dauer von 30 Stunden abgelegt

diese Zeitdauer überschritten ist, bleibt die Uhr stehen und ein

Das einstellen der uhrzeit
Um sicherzustellen, dass die Tagesanzeige um Mitternacht
auf den nächsten Tag springt (und nicht zu Mittag), stellen Sie
das Datum des vorangegangenen Tages ein und dann wieder
vorwärts bis das Datum sich ändert. Jetzt wissen Sie, dass die
Anzeige auf Mitternacht steht und Sie können die genaue Anzeige
(vormittags oder nachmittags) einstellen.
Hinweis: Das Datum wechselt zwischen 18:00 Uhr und 06:00
Uhr. Stellen Sie das Datum nicht innerhalb dieser Zeit ein, da es

Une montre automatique, ou auto-remontante est une montre
mécanique dans laquelle le ressort principal se remonte
automatiquement suite au mouvement naturel du bras de
l’usager rendant ainsi inutile le remontage manuel. Le remontage
par mécanisme automatique dépend de l’intensité de votre
mouvement La première fois que vous recevrez la montre, il
est possible que celle-ci ne fonctionne pas. C’est parce que la
montre n’a pas de pouvoir pour fonctionner. La montre nécessite
un remontage manuel initial de 15 à 20 tours de couronne puis,
pendant que la montre est portée, elle se remontra et gardera
l’heure correcte. Lors du réglage de l’heure, assurez-vous que
les aiguilles de la montre ne bougent qu’en direction horaire
pour éviter de l’endommager. La tolérance de précision de notre
mouvement automatique est de -40 à +40 secondes par jour
portée sous des conditions normales.
Réserve de puissance de la Montre automatique
De manière à garder sa puissance, la montre peut être retirée
du poignet pour une période maximale de 30 heures. Si cette
période est dépassée, un autre remontage manuel sera requis.
Rappelez-vous que si la montre est portée lors du sommeil, le
mouvement du poignet est insuffisant pour maintenir la fonction
de remontage automatique.
Avertissement: ne remontez pas votre montre excessivement car
ceci pourrait endommager le mouvement.
Description du cadran et des commandes de réglage

journée des minuit, régler la date a la journée précédente puis
avancez les aiguilles jusqu’au changement de date. Vous saurez
maintenant que les aiguilles sont placées à minuit et vous pouvez
ajuster les aiguilles à l’heure précise (Am. ou Pm.).
Prenez note: La date change entre 6:00 PM et 6:00 AM. N’ajustez
pas la date ou l’heure entre ces heures car celle-ci ne changera
pas correctement le jour suivant et risque d’endommager le
mouvement.

L’orologio automatico, o a ricarica automatica, è un orologio
meccanico in cui la molla principale si riavvolge automaticamente
con il movimento naturale del braccio di chi lo indossa rendendo
così superfluo il caricamento manuale. Il caricamento del
meccanismo automatico dipende dall’intensità dei movimenti
di chi indossa l’orologio. Quando si riceve l’orologio per la prima
volta, potrebbe non funzionare perché è scarico. È necessario
dare all’orologio una carica manuale iniziale di 15 o 20 giri
della corona, e quindi una volta indossato si caricherà da solo
e manterrà l’ora corretta. Quando si imposta l’ora assicurarsi
di muovere le lancette solo in senso orario per evitare di
danneggiare il meccanismo. La tolleranza della precisione dei
nostri orologi a movimento automatico è di -40 a +40 secondi al
giorno, se indossati in condizioni normali.
Autonomia dell’orologio automatico
Per mantenere la carica dell’orologio, esso può essere tolto dal
polso per un periodo massimo di 30 ore. Se trascorrono più ore,
il movimento si ferma e sarà necessario un altro caricamento
manuale. Si tenga presente che se l’orologio è indossato mentre
si dorme, il movimento del polso è insufficiente per la funzione di
caricamento automatico.
Cautela: non sovraccaricare l’orologio perché potrebbe
danneggiare il meccanismo.

non cambia la data. Ora si sa che le lancette sono impostate a
mezzanotte ed è possibile impostare correttamente le lancette su
antimeridiano o pomeridiano.
Nota: la data viene modificata nell’arco di tempo che va dalle 18 alle
6 del mattino. Non impostare giorno o data tra questi orari perché
non verrebbero modificati correttamente il giorno successivo, e
potrebbero danneggiare il meccanismo.

Een automatisch of zelfopwindend horloge is een mechanisch
horloge waarin de hoofdveer automatisch wordt opgewonden
door de natuurlijke beweging van de arm van de drager,
waardoor het regelmatig handmatig opwinden niet nodig is.
Het opwinden van het automatische mechanisme is afhankelijk
van de intensiteit van uw bewegingen. Wanneer u het horloge
voor de eerste keer ontvangt, kan het zijn dat het niet loopt. Dit
komt omdat het horloge geen energie heeft om op te werken.
Het horloge moet eerst handmatig worden opgewonden door
15 tot 20 keer aan het kroontje te draaien en daarna, als het
horloge wordt gedragen, windt het zichzelf op en geeft het de
correcte tijd aan. Draai bij het instellen van de tijd de wijzers
altijd rechtsom (met de klok mee) om schade te voorkomen. De
nauwkeurigheidstolerantie van onze automatische bewegingen is
van -40 tot +40 seconden per dag als het horloge onder normale
omstandigheden wordt gedragen.
Energiereserve van het automatische horloge
Om de energie van het horloge vast te houden mag het horloge
een maximale periode van 30 uur van de pols worden genomen.
Als deze periode verstreken is, stopt het uurwerk en zal het
nodig zijn het horloge opnieuw handmatig op te winden. Let
erop dat als het horloge tijdens het slapen wordt gedragen, de
bewegingen van de pols niet voldoende zijn om de automatische
opwindfunctie te behouden.
Voorzichtig: Wind uw horloge niet te strak op, dit kan schade
veroorzaken aan de beweging van het uurwerk.

Om ervoor te zorgen dat de datumindicator om middernacht (en
niet om 12 uur ‘s middags) naar de volgende dag springt, stelt u de
datum in op de vorige dag en draait u de wijzers vooruit totdat de
datum verspringt. Nu u weet dat de wijzers op middernacht staan
en kunt u de tijd instellen op de juiste tijd.
Opmerking: De datum wordt veranderd tussen 18:00 uur en
06:00 uur. Stel de dag of datum niet tussen deze tijden in, omdat
deze de volgende dag dan niet correct verspringt en dit kan
schade veroorzaken aan het uurwerk.

idet hovedfjederen automatisk trækkes op som et resultat af
bærerens naturlige bevægelser. Dette gør regelmæssig man-
uel optrækning unødvendig. Optrækning af den automatiske
mekanisme afhænger af bevægelsernes intensitet. Når du først
modtager uret, er det muligvis gået i stå. Dette skyldes, at uret
ikke har mekanisk energi til at køre. Uret skal indledende trækkes
op manuelt med 15 til 20 omdrejninger af kronen. Derefter vil uret
trække sig selv op og opretholde det korrekte klokkeslæt, når det
bæres på håndleddet. Når du indstiller klokkeslættet, skal du sikre
dig, at viserne kun bevæger sig med uret for at undgå at skade
uret. Nøjagtighedstolerancen for vores automatiske bevægelser

Un reloj automático o de cuerda automática es un reloj mecánico
con muelle que tiene cuerda gracias al movimiento natural del
brazo del usuario, por lo que no es necesario dar cuerda al reloj
de forma manual. La cuerda del mecanismo automático depende
de la intensidad de los movimientos. La primera vez que utilice
el reloj es posible que no funcione. Se debe a que el reloj no tiene
energía para funcionar. Se debe dar al reloj una primera cuerda
manual de unas 15 a 20 vueltas de corona y una vez que se lleve en
la muñeca éste se dará cuerda de forma automática manteniendo
la hora correcta. Al ajustar la hora asegúrese que las agujas sólo
se muevan en su sentido normal para evitar dañar el mecanismo.
La tolerancia de precisión de nuestros movimientos automáticos
está comprendida entre -40 y +40 segundos al día, si el reloj se
utiliza en condiciones normales.
Reserva de energía de relojes automáticos
Para mantenerlo en funcionamiento puede quitarse el reloj de
la muñeca durante un periodo máximo de 30 horas. Si se supera
este periodo el movimiento se detiene, siendo necesario volver
a dar cuerda manual. Debe recordarse que si lleva el reloj cuando
esté durmiendo el movimiento de la muñeca no es suficiente para
mantener la función de cuerda automática.
Precaución: No dé excesiva cuerda al reloj ya que puede provocar
daños en el movimiento.
