SLICING TIPS
• If slicing freshly b ked bre d, be sure to
let cool t le st 15 to 30 minutes,
otherwise bre d will te r when ttempting
to slice.
• Bre d m chine or tr dition l sh ped
lo ves of bre d c n be sliced in guide.
Pl ce bre d m chine bre d on one of its
sides for slicing; pl ce bottom of
tr dition l sh ped lo f on pl tform for
slicing.
• A lo f up to 23cm long c n be sliced in
the guide. the slices will be bout 5mm
thick. For thicker slices, cut bre d using
every other guide slot.
• Be sure to completely cut through
bottom crust of bre d s you slice.
• Some of the pl stic m teri l on the
pl tform of the guide will become
scr tched from the cutting knife used
which is norm l. Any sm ll pieces of
pl stic th t m y come in cont ct with the
bre d re not h rmful s pl stic is food
gr de m teri l.
• Alw ys use c ution when h ndling knife
during slicing of bre d.
CLEAN AFTER USE
To remove crumbs, simply brush off with
dry cloth or t p guide over w ste b sket.
Crumbs re e sier to remove when they re
dry r ther th n being wet. Wipe slicing guide
with d mp cloth if needed.
Do not clean bread slicing
guide in an automatic
dishwasher as damage can
occur.
For comp ct stor ge of guide between
uses, close down sides by pressing ends
where indic ted nd swing in direction s
shown on guide. See di gr m below. Store
guide in dr wer or c binet.
TO ASSEMBLE BREAD SLICING GUIDE
Your bre d slicing guide is p cked in the
closed stor ge position. To open the guide
for use, simply press on the ends of guide
where indic ted nd swing both sides out
s shown in di gr m. Sides will ‘sn p’ lock
in the upright position for use.
CLEAN BEFORE USE

occur.
TO USE BREAD SLICING GUIDE
1. Pl ce bre d slicing guide on counter with
sides in upright position s shown. Guide
fe tures rubber feet on bottom to secure
on surf ce while slicing.
2. Pl ce lo f onto cutting pl tform, position
one end g inst closed end of guide. See
pic. This will ensure more even slicing.

3. With good bre d knife or electric knife,
lign knife bl de in guide slots bove
bre d. Slice bre d with b ck nd forth
s wing motion. You m y need to secure
top side of lo f while slicing. Remove
bl de from guide when finished slicing
nd repe t s me motion until desired
number of slices h ve been cut.
