• Position on a flat, stable surface.
• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out
installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any
components on this product.

- Building Regulations
• Always stand BEHIND the safety guard when operating the
appliance.
• DO NOT place hands near the rotating attachments when in
use. This can result in severe injury.
• DO NOT remove food from the appliance until the mixing
attachments have come to a complete stop.
• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
• DO NOT attempt to mix items that this machine is not
designed for. This can damage the mixing attachments.
• DO NOT use with a damaged mixing attachment.
• DO NOT bypass the safety interlocks.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the
appliance when not in use.
• NEVER leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• The appliance is heavy. Take care when moving.
• This appliance must only be used in accordance with these
instructions and by persons competent to do so.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

packaging in accordance to the regulations of local authorities.

Introduction
The BUFFALO Planetary Mixer has been designed to mix a range of foodstuffs, varying from cream to
dough.
Please take a few moments to carefully read through this manual. Correct maintenance and operation of
this machine will provide the best possible performance from your BUFFALO product.

BUFFALO prides itself on quality and service, ensuring that at the time of packaging the contents are
supplied fully functional and free of damage. Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please
contact your BUFFALO dealer immediately.
Installation
• Remove the appliance from all packaging.
• While positioning on a worktop, ensure the appliance is secured in position.
• Note: Ensure the feet are level to reduce vibration during operation.
Assembly
WARNING:
• Ensure the appliance is switched off and disconnected from power supply
before assembly/disassembly.
• BUFFALO accept no responsibility for any injury caused by incorrect
assembly of this appliance.
• The bowl must be attached into position prior to starting the Planetary
Mixer.
1. Lift the handle clockwise
(position) until the mixer
head rises and rests stably.
2. Select the desired mixer
attachment and fix onto the
mixer head. Turn right to fix it
into place.
3. Attach the bowl to the bowl
seat. Turn clockwise to lock it
into place. Note: Reverse the
procedure to remove the bowl.
4. Lift and hold the handle
(position) while lowering the
mixer head fully. Then lower the
handle counter-clockwise (
position) and release to lock the
mixer head in place.
Note: Ensure the
mixer head is locked
in place or the mixer
will not work.

Changing the Mixer Attachment
1. Turn Off the appliance.
2. Raise the mixer head as instructed previously.
3. Push the mixer attachment up and to the left to release.
4. Insert the desired attachment. Push up and to the right to lock it into place.
5. Lower the mixer head in place.
BUFFALO recommend the following uses for each attachment:

Operation
• Ensure that these instructions have been read thoroughly and the operation
of the appliance is fully understood before use.
• All personnel must be fully trained on the operation and safety precautions
of the Planetary Mixer.
Layout of Controls
• START button: Press to start the mixer.
• STOP button: Press to stop the mixer.
• Speed control knob: Use to set the speed of the mixer.
Mixing
WARNING: Always ensure the
appliance is turned off before
placing hands in the mixing bowl.
1. Raise the mixer head.
2. Fill the bowl.
3. Lower the mixer head and lock it in place.
4. Select the desired speed.
• BUFFALO recommend that you start with the slowest speed and increase the
speed gradually as necessary.
• Ensure the mixer head and bowl are fully locked in place or the mixer will
not work.

5. Press the START button to begin mixing.
Note: If the appliance is
straining to mix then turn the
appliance Off and remove some
of the contents from the bowl
before restarting.
6. After use, slowly turn the speed control knob
to MIN. Then press the STOP button and
disconnect the mixer from power supply.

Overload protection
The appliance is featured with overload protection.
In case of overload, the appliance will beep then
stop working automatically.
1. Turn Off the mixer.
2. Reduce the load in the mixing bowl.
3. Press the START button to re-start.
Cleaning, Care &
Maintenance
• Always turn off the mixer and disconnect from
the power supply before cleaning.
• Use warm soapy water to clean the bowl and
mixing attachments. Do not use abrasive
cleaning chemicals as these can leave harmful
residues.
• Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp
cloth.
• Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning.
• Do not use jet/pressure washers to clean the
appliance.
• Clean the appliance regularly.
• NO WATER INGRESS!

This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Inleiding
De BUFFALO planetaire mixer is ontworpen voor het mixen van een grote verscheidenheid aan
voedingsmiddelen, variërend van slagroom tot deeg.
Neem de tijd om deze handleiding aandachtig door te lezen. Correct gebruik en onderhoud van deze
machine waarborgt de beste prestatie van uw Buffalo product.

Verpakkingsinhoud
De verpakking bevat het volgend:

verpakkingen, tijdens de verpakkingsfase, op functionaliteit en schade. Mocht u product door transport
zijn beschadigd, neem dan onmiddellijk contact op met uw BUFFALO dealer.
Installatie
• Haal het apparaat uit de verpakking.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat tijdens het plaatsen op een werkblad wordt vastgezet.
• Opmerking: Zorg dat de voeten waterpas staan om trillingen tijdens het gebruik te
verminderen.
Montage
WAARSCHUWING:
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat is uitgeschakeld en losgekoppeld van de
stroomvoorziening vóór montage / demontage.
• BUFFALO aanvaardt geen verantwoordelijkheid voor enig letsel veroorzaakt
door onjuiste montage van dit apparaat.
• De kom moet op zijn plaats worden bevestigd voordat de Planetaire Mixer
wordt gestart.
1. Til de hendel met de klok mee
(positie) totdat de mixerkop
omhoog komt en stabiel rust.
2. Selecteer het gewenste
mixerhulpstuk en bevestig het op
de mixerkop. Draai naar rechts om
het op zijn plaats te bevestigen.
3. Bevestig de kom op de komzitting.
Draai met de klok mee om het
op zijn plaats te vergrendelen.
Opmerking: Keer de procedure
om de kom te verwijderen.
4. Til de hendel op en houd deze
vast ( positie) terwijl u de
mixerkop volledig laat zakken.
Laat de hendel vervolgens
linksom zakken ( positie) en
laat hem los om de mixerkop te
vergrendelen.
Opmerking: zorg ervoor dat
de mixerkop op zijn plaats is
vergrendeld, anders werkt het
gemengd niet.

De mixerbevestiging wijzigen
1. Schakel het apparaat uit.
2. Til de mixerkop op zoals eerder aangegeven.
3. Duw het mixerbevestiging omhoog en naar links om te ontgrendelen.
4. Plaats de gewenste bevestiging. Duw omhoog en naar rechts om het op zijn plaats te vergrendelen.
5. Laat de mixerkop op zijn plaats zakken.
BUFFALO raadt het volgende gebruik voor de desbetreffende hulpstukken aan:

Bediening
• Opmerking: zorg vóór gebruik dat deze aanwijzingen aandachtig zijn
doorgelezen en dat men de werking van het apparaat volledig begrijpt.
• Al het personeel moet volledig zijn opgeleid in de werking en de
veiligheidsmaatregelen van de planetaire mixer
Opmaak van bedieningselementen
• START-knop: Druk om de mixer te starten.
• STOP-knop: Druk om de mixer te stoppen.
• Snelheidsregelknop: gebruik om de snelheid van de mixer
in te stellen.
Menging
WAARSCHUWUNG: Zorg er
altijd voor dat het apparaat
is uitgeschakeld voordat u de
handen in de mengkom plaatst.
1. Breng de mixerkop omhoog.
2. Vul de kom.
3. Laat de mixerkop zakken en vergrendel deze.
4. Stel de gewenste snelheid in.
• BUFFALO beveelt aan om met de laagste snelheid te beginnen en de snelheid
geleidelijk te verhogen indien nodig.
• Zorg ervoor dat de mixerkop en kom volledig op hun plaats zijn vergrendeld,
anders werkt de mixer niet.

5. Druk op de START-knop om te beginnen met
mixen.
Opmerking: Als het apparaat
te zwaar is om te mixen,
schakel dan de uitvoering uit
en verwijder een deel van de
inhoud uit de kom voordat u
opnieuw begint.
6. Draai de snelheidsregelknop na gebruik
langzaam naar MIN. Druk vervolgens op de
STOP-knop en koppel de mixer los van de
voeding.

Bescherming tegen overbelasting
Het apparaat is voorzien van
overbelastingsbeveiliging. In geval van
overbelasting piept het apparaat en stopt het
automatisch.
1. Schakel de mixer uit.
2. Verminder de lading in de mengkom.
3. Druk op de START-knop om opnieuw te
starten.
Reiniging, zorg &
onderhoud
• Alvorens de mixer te reinigen dient men de
steker uit het stopcontact te halen.
• Gebruik altijd warm zeepwater voor de
reiniging van de kom en mengschroef. Gebruik
géén bijtende chemische reinigingsmiddelen
aangezien deze schadelijke resten achterlaten.
• Dit product niet met spuit-/drukreinigers
reinigen.
• Reinig de buitenkant van het apparaat met een
vochtige doek.
• BUFFALO raadt aan om de ketting en de
spanningsriem om de twaalf maanden door
een BUFFALO technicus of vaktechnicus te
laten smeren respectievelijk te controleren.
• Reinig het apparaat regelmatig.
• GEEN WATER TOEGANG!
Oplossen van problemen
Indien er een storing van uw BUFFALO product optreedt, dient u de onderstaande tabel te raadplegen
alvorens contact op te nemen met uw BUFFALO dealer of de Hulplijn te bellen.

Elektrische bedrading
Men dient de steker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.
De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:
• Stroomkabel (bruin) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met L
• Neutraalkabel (blauw) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met N
• Aardekabel (groen/geel) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met E
Dit apparaat moet worden geaard.
Raadpleeg bij twijfel een vakkundige elektricien.
De elektrische isolatiepunten mogen niet worden geblokkeerd. In geval van een nooduitschakeling
moeten de isolatiepunten direct toegankelijk zijn.

accessoires mélanguers ne sont pas parfaitment immobiles.

Installation
• Retirez l’appareil des emballages
• Placez-le sur un plan de travail en vous assurant qu’il est bien maintenu en place.
• Note : Assurez-vous que les pieds sont à niveau pour limiter les vibrations pendant le fonctionnement.
Montage
ATTENTION :
• Assurez-vous que l’appareil est bien éteint et que l’alimentation est
débranchée avant le montage/démontage.
• BUFFALO décline toute responsabilité en cas de blessure causée par un
montage incorrect de cet appareil.
• Le bol doit être fixé en position avant la mise en marche du Planetary Mixer.
1. Soulevez la poignée dans le
sens des aiguilles d’une montre
(position ) jusqu’à ce que
la tête du mixeur se soulève et
repose de manière stable.
2. Sélectionnez l’accessoire mixeur
souhaité et fixez-le sur la tête du
mixeur. Tournez-le vers la droite
pour le mettre en place.
3. 3. Fixez le bol sur son socle.
Tournez-le dans le sens des
aiguilles d’une montre pour le
fixer en position. Note : Effectuez
cette opération en sens inverse
pour retirer le bol.
4. Soulevez et maintenez la poignée
(position ) tout en abaissant
à fond la tête du mixeur. Puis
abaissez la poignée dans le sens
inverse des aiguilles d’une montre
(position ) et relâchez pour
verrouiller la tête du mixeur.
Note : Assurez-vous que la tête
du mixeur est bien verrouillée
en position, sinon le mixeur ne
fonctionnera pas.

Changer l’accessoire du mixeur
1. Éteignez l’appareil.
2. Soulevez la tête du mixeur comme indiqué précédemment.
3. Poussez l’accessoire du mixeur vers le haut et vers la gauche pour le libérer.
4. Insérez l’accessoire souhaité. Poussez-le vers le haut et vers la droite pour le fixer en position.
5. Abaissez la tête du mixeur pour la mettre en position.
BUFFALO préconise l’utilisation des accessoires suivants pour les applications correspondantes :

• Remarque : Veillez à bien lire ces consignes et à ce que le fonctionnement de
cet appareil soit bien compris avant de l’utiliser.
• Le personnel doit être entièrement formé à l’utilisation et aux consignes de
sécurité du Mélangeur à mouvement planétaire.
Disposition des commandes
• Bouton START: Appuyez pour mettre le mixeur en marche.
• Bouton STOP: Appuyez pour arrêter le mixeur.
• Molette de commande de la vitesse : Utilisez-la pour
définir la vitesse du mixeur.
Mixer
ATTENTION : Assurez-vous
toujours que l’appareil est bien
éteint avant de mettre vos mains
dans le bol mixeur.
1. Soulevez la tête du mixeur.
2. Remplissez le bol.
3. Abaissez la tête du mixeur et verrouillez-la.
4. Sélectionnez la vitesse souhaitée.
• BUFFALO recommande de commencer avec la vitesse la plus basse et de
l’augmenter petit à petit selon le besoin.
• Assurez-vous que la tête et le bol du mixeur sont bien verrouillés en position,
sinon le mixeur ne fonctionnera pas.

5. Appuyez sur le bouton START pour commencer
à mixer.
Note : Si l’appareil force pour
mixer, éteignez l’appareil et
retirez un peu de contenu du bol
avant de le remettre en marche.
6. Après utilisation, ramenez lentement la molette
de commande de la vitesse sur MIN. Puis
appuyez sur le bouton STOP et débranchez la
prise d’alimentation du mixeur.

Protection anti-surcharge
L’appareil est équipé d’une protection anti-
surcharge. En cas de surcharge, il bipera puis
d’éteindra automatiquement.
1. Éteignez le mixeur.
2. Réduisez la charge du bol mixeur.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton START pour remettre en
marche.
Nettoyage, entretien et
maintenance
• Éteignez le batteur et débranchez l’appareil de
la prise secteur avant de le nettoyer.
• La cuve et la vis de pétrissage se nettoient
à l’eau tiède savonneuse. N’utilisez pas de
produits chimiques abrasifs, qui risquent de
laisser des résidus.
• Ne nettoyez pas l’appareil à l’aide d’un
nettoyeur à jet / haute pression.
• Nettoyez l’extérieur de l’appareil à l’aide d’un
torchon humide.
• BUFFALO préconise le graissage de la chaîne
et la vérification de la tension de la courroie
tous les douze mois, opérations qu’elle vous
conseille de confier à un agent BUFFALO où à
un technicien qualifié.
• Nettoyez régulièrement l’appareil.
