WARNINGS
I. GENERAL
1. IMPORTANT-Read the instructions carefully before use and KEEP
FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
2. Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in
serious injury or death.
3. Never leave child unattended.
4. Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
5. Do not use if any part of the product is broken, torn or missing.
6. Only use accessories and replacement parts supplied or recommended
by the manufacturer/distributor.
7. To avoid injury ensure that your child is kept away when unfolding
and folding this product.
8. Do not let your child play with the Bugaboo Bee³.
9. Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat,
such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of stroller.
10. Do not use the sun canopy in the extended position in combination
with the rain cover. Suffocation hazard.
11. Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string
around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not
suspend strings over a bassinet or a seat or attach strings to toys.
12. It is possible that on floors such as synthetic laminates, parquet,
linoleum and carpet (organic surface floors), rubber black tires may
leave permanent marks. Should you have a floor as mentioned above
we recommend to be careful with indoor usage.
II. STROLLER
13. The Bugaboo Bee³ seat unit is suitable for children from 0 to 36
months (17kg/37.5lbs). Use the most reclined position of the seat for
new born babies.
14. For any child unable to maintain an unaided sitting position the
backrest should only be used in the fully reclined position.
15. The bassinet is suitable only for a child who cannot sit up unaided,
roll over and cannot push itself up on its hands and knees. Maximum
weight of the child is 9kg (20lbs), maximum age 6 months, whichever
comes first.

16. FALL HAZARD-to help prevent falls, do not use the bassinet when
the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 9
kg (20lbs) or 6 months, whichever comes first.
17. The Bugaboo Bee³ does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your
child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a suitable pram
body, cot or bed.
18. Never add a mattress, sheet, pillow, comforter or padding. Use only
the pad and sheet provided by Bugaboo.
19. Do not leave flexible carrying handles inside the bassinet.
20. The handles and the bottom of the bassinet should be inspected
regularly for signs of damage and wear.
21. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the harness.
22. Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
23. Always use the safety features of your Bugaboo Bee³, including
locking devices, brake, the harness (when child is in the seat) and
the wrist strap attached to the handlebar. Check and maintain all
safety features frequently.
24. Check that the bassinet or seat unit or car seat attachment devices
are correctly engaged before use.
25. Never pick up the Bugaboo Bee³ and chassis by the flexible carry
handles while your child is lying in the bassinet.
26. Take your child out of the Bugaboo Bee³ when going up or down
stairs and around steep or unstable conditions. Also, take extra care
when going up or down a curb or other uneven surfaces.
27. Use the wrist strap to stop the stroller rolling away.
28. Maximum weight of the under seat basket is 4kg (8.8 lbs).
29. Use only manufacturer recommended weights in the under seat
basket otherwise the stroller may become unstable.
30. Do not place bags or luggage on the handlebar and/or on the back
of the backrest and/or on the sides of the stroller as the stroller may
become unstable.
31. Maximum weight for the child on the wheeled board is 20kg (44lbs).
32. Bugaboo Bee³ is not suitable for running or skating.
33. Do not take your Bugaboo Bee³ on the escalator.
34. This vehicle is intended for use by only one child.
III. USING THE BASSINET INDEPENDENTLY OF THE CHASSIS
35. The bassinet is suitable only for a child who cannot sit up unaided,
roll over and cannot push itself up on its hands and knees.
Maximum weight of the child is 9 kg (20lbs), maximum age 6
months, whichever comes first.

36. FALL HAZARD: Child’s activity can move the bassinet. NEVER place
bassinet on counter top, table or any other elevated surface. Only use
on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface.
37. Never use the bassinet on a stand.
38. SUFFOCATION HAZARD: bassinet can roll over on soft surfaces
and suffocate child. NEVER place bassinet on bed, sofa, or other soft
surface.
39. The bassinet do not replace a cot or a bed and is not intended for
prolonged periods of sleeping. Should your child need to sleep, then it
should be placed in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.
40. Do not let other children play unattended near the bassinet.
41. Do not leave flexible carrying handles inside the bassinet.
42. Never use the bassinet as a means to transport an infant in a motor
vehicle.
43. SUFFOCATION HAZARD
Infants can suffocate:
- In gaps between an extra padding and side of the bassinet.
- On soft bedding
Never add a mattress, pillow, sheet, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY
the pad provided by Bugaboo.
44. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants
be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your
physician.
Some instructions require special attention for ensuring
the safe use of the Bugaboo Bee³. When you see this
symbol in the instructional part of the user guide, please
refer to the warnings in the "WARNINGS" chapter.

• Check the safety of the Bugaboo Bee³ before each use. Ensure that the seat
fabric, the brake and the safety belts are all working properly, the handlebar is
locked and that the seat is fitted correctly to the chassis.
• Check to see if the Bugaboo Bee³ is damaged. You should ensure that any
damaged or worn parts are repaired immediately.
• To ensure completely safety for your child do not use the Bugaboo Bee³ until any
damaged or worn parts have been repaired or replaced.
• The Bugaboo Bee³ seat unit (no. 550210) should only be used with the Bugaboo
Bee³ chassis (no. 550125AL01 or 550125ZW01). Do not use Bugaboo Bee³ parts
or components with any non-approved pushchair, other device or any other
Bugaboo product.
• Do not use the Bugaboo Bee³ near open flames or other sources of heat. Avoid
exposing the Bugaboo Bee³ to extreme temperatures.
• The Bugaboo Bee³ is not resistant to salt water.
• Avoid Velcro contact to the Bugaboo Bee³ fabrics.
maintenance tips
These tips will help you take care of your Bugaboo Bee³ and ensure a smooth ride.
• Periodically remove the swivel wheels and brush off any dirt or sand. Use
a brush and water to clean dirt off the wheels. Do not submerge the wheel
bearings in water.
• Use a soft brush to clean sand and dirt off the chassis. Take care to brush dirt
away from rotating or sliding parts.
• Clean the chassis with a soft towel and lukewarm water and wipe off any
remaining water with a dry cloth.
• Use a sponge, warm water and liquid soap to gently rub off any dirt on the
handlebar foam. Wipe clean any soap residue left on the handlebar.
• Store your Bugaboo Bee³ and its accessories in a dry place and leave them
unfolded when wet to prevent mould.

cleaning the fabrics
The Bugaboo Bee³ seat fabric and sun canopy are detachable and machine washable.
The Bugaboo Bee³ harness can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
The Bugaboo Bee³ bassinet/carrycot fabrics are recommended to wash by hand.
When washing, don’t forget:
• maximum temperature 30˚C/85˚F (cold wash)
• do not use bleach or aggressive detergents
• do not tumble dry
• do not iron
• do not dry clean
• always wash separately
Always check the fabric label before washing.
The aerated inlay of the mattress can be washed at 30˚C. The aerated inlay is placed
on top of the thicker foam mattress and can be taken off by removing the mattress
cover. After washing, ensure that all mattress parts are replaced in their original
positions, with the aerated inlay placed on top of the foam mattress. Do not use
the mattress without the aerated inlay. The Bugaboo Bee³ under seat basket can be
washed at 30˚C.

manufacturer’s warranty (for Asia only)
As the manufacturer, Bugaboo International BV, which has its principal place of
business in Amsterdam (hereinafter: “Bugaboo”), supplies the Bugaboo stroller
(hereinafter: “product”) under warranty, subject to the following conditions:
1. The manufacturer’s warranty period is 24 months, from the date of purchase as
indicated on the sales receipt. The remaining guarantee for the original product
will apply for a replacement part or product or a repaired product.
2. This manufacturer’s warranty applies only in the region (USA and Canada or
Europe or Russia or Australia and New Zealand or Asia) in which the product
was purchased. Bugaboo guarantees that the product will be in compliance
only with the statutory provisions and/or government regulations that apply in
the region in which the product was sold. Bugaboo reserves the right to apply a
divergent manufacturer’s guarantee for those specific regions.
3. The manufacturer’s warranty provides a right to repair unless Bugaboo is of
the opinion that replacement or return of the product is necessary. Bugaboo
will bear the expense and risk of transport from and to the retailer (hereinafter:
“the retailer”) where you purchased the product, provided the repair is covered
by manufacturer’s warranty.
4. To claim under this manufacturer’s warranty you must provide Bugaboo with
the following:
- a copy of the dated receipt of purchase,
- a clear description of the complaint and
- the defective product and/or photographs of the defective part or product.
5. The manufacturer’s warranty is not transferable and may therefore only be
invoked by the first owner.
6. The manufacturer’s warranty does not affect any statutory rights you may have,
for example the right to hold the retailer accountable for defects.
what is covered by the manufacturer’s
guarantee?
The manufacturer’s guarantee applies in respect of the product and covers the
following:
- all manufacturing defects in the chassis, frame and the wheels;
- all manufacturing defects in the adapters (frame and car seat adapters);
- zippers;
- all parts of the harness of your Bugaboo stroller;
- seams in the covering;
- Velcro®; and
- colourfastness

the manufacturer’s warranty will void in the
following circumstances:
-If you have made or arranged for modifications or repairs to be made without
first having received written permission from Bugaboo or the retailer.
-Defects resulting from neglect or an accident and/or from any use or
maintenance other than that indicated in the user guide.
-If the serial number has been damaged or removed.
-Damage to the product caused by normal wear and tear.
-Incorrect mounting or installation of third-party parts that are incompatible
with the product.
-Inadvertent or unintentional damage, abnormal use or insufficient care.
-Improper storage / product care.
-Damage to push bars or upholstery due to normal daily use of the product.
-Holes or tears in the tires.
-Damage due to improper use or due to failure to follow user guide.
-Damage due to repairs carried out by unauthorized persons or due to improper
disassembly of the product.
-Transport damage (during air transport or other modes of transport): carefully
inspect your Bugaboo product after it was shipped by the airline (or other
carrier) and in case of any damage immediately file a claim with the carrier.
-−ustomer dissatisfaction with the product in terms of fit, weight, functionality,
colour or design.
manufacturer’s warranty conditions for
bugaboo special edition
If you have purchased a Bugaboo special edition, go to www.bugaboo.com/
customer-service/special-editions for a complete overview of Bugaboo’s
manufacturer’s warranty conditions. Your Bugaboo special edition may fall
within the scope of other manufacturer’s warranty conditions than the conditions
described in this user manual. Bugaboo reserves the right to stop manufacturing a
particular model, colour, fabric or accessory, and therefore it will replace a part with
a similar product, colour or fabric during the manufacturer’s warranty period.

The manufacturer’s warranty period for this product is 24 months from the
purchase date indicated on the sales receipt. Save the sales receipt in a safe place
and make a copy of it. It is even easier if you register your product at bugaboo.
com and/or by using the warranty card enclosed. If you submit a claim under this
manufacturer’s warranty you must first contact your retailer. If your retailer is
unable to repair the defect or if Bugaboo was your retailer you can contact Bugaboo
by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. For complaints that arise
outside the manufacturer’s warranty period you must also contact your seller or
you can contact one of our service centres. You can find an up-to-date list of service
centres at bugaboo.com.
Bugaboo reserves the right to amend these manufacturer’s warranty provisions. You

replaceable parts
We pride ourselves on creating products based on high quality and standards. That’s
why only genuine Bugaboo parts or parts which have been approved by Bugaboo
should ever be used in conjunction with the Bugaboo stroller. If you need to replace
a part of your Bugaboo stroller, please contact your retailer, or visit bugaboo.com
for an extensive list of retailers near you.
