WARNING
Before drilling any holes ensure there are no fuel lines, fuel
tanks, brake lines, electrical components, wire harnesses, etc.
failure to do so could result in injury to both the vehicle and
installer.
WARNING
Do not transport or store flammables material, flammable
liquids, explosives, hazardous materials, solvents, etc in this
bed box.
WARNING
Do not use the drawer as a step or work bench.
WARNING
Always ensure the drawer is properly closed before transporting.
WARNING
Always paint or seal any drilled holes with paint to prevent rusting.

Please read and understand all instructions,
illustrations and warnings before installation.
Remove all contents from toolbox and verify the
box is free of damage. Review hardware list for all
supplied hardware. Standard tools will be required
for installation such as a drill, drill bits, tape measure,
wrenches, socket set, screw drivers etc.

Installation
1. Remove the two screws securing the box to the
pallet. Place the toolbox in desired location, the box
must be place on flat surface and must be completely
supported. There are several ways the box can be
mounted.
Option 1 (Fig. 1):
Use the mounting holes provide in the legs of the
box. Mark the location of the mounting holes. Drill
the holes with a ½" drill bit ensuring there are no fuel
lines, break lines, or any other obstructions in the way
that could cause harm to the vehicle. Remove box
and insert the blind fasteners provided (3036249).
Prestart the 5/16-8 x 1.5 bolts (FCS031018150) in the
blind fasteners to set and allow the crimping action
to deform to the underside of the mounting surface.
Once all blind fasteners are set remove bolts and
place box back into position. Re install all 5/16 bolts
along with flat washers (3000544) and lock washers
(FWL031058008). Secure bolts in place.

Option 2 (Fig. 2):
Use the provided mounting plates (3036247). Position
the box in place in insert the mounting plates into
the legs of the box as shown in fig 2. Ensure the
edge of the holes in the mounting plate do not pass
beyond the edge of the toolbox legs. Follow the same
mounting procedure as option 1. Secure all bolts.
Option 3 (Fig 3.):
This option can be used if space is an issue from side
to side. Use the provided angled mounting plates
(3036248). Position the box in place in insert the
mounting plates into the legs of the box as shown in
fig 3. Ensure the edge of the holes in the mounting
plate do not pass beyond the edge of the toolbox
legs. Follow the same mounting procedure as option
1. Then fasten the rear of the mounting plate through
the back of the box. Be sure not to have any hardware
protrude through the box into the latch components.

Instructions For Inserting Cross-Nuts (Fig 4.)
To install the cross nuts drill a 1/2" hole in the desired
marked locations. Assemble the following supplied
components exactly as shown in Fig 4. Once
assembled snug all the parts together as shown
and insert into drilled hole. Hold the FHN038016028
(please note this nut does not engage the threads of
the bolt) nut with a 9/16" wrench so it does not turn.
Use a 1/2" wrench to turn the 3036604 bolt clockwise.

After a few turn the cross nut will begin to deform and
engage the underside of the hole. Remove the bolt,
nuts, and washers and repeat for the next hole.

WARRANTY
Buyers Products Co. warrants all truck/trailer hardware manufac-
tured or distributed by it, to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one year from date of shipment. Parts
must be properly installed and used under normal conditions.
Any product which has been altered, including modification, mis-
use, accident or lack of maintenance will not be considered under
warranty. Normal wear is excluded. The sole responsibility of Buyers
Products Co. under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing any
part or parts which are returned, prepaid, and are found to be defective
by Buyers Products Co. Authorization from Buyers Products Co. must
be obtained before returning any part. No charges for transportation
or labor performed on Buyers’ products will be allowed under this
warranty.
