WARRANTY
Cadco warrants that this Warmer / B ffet Server be free from defects in
material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of p rchase.
(Warranty provides repair of nit.) A copy of yo r original p rchase receipt is
req ired for proof of p rchase date. This warranty does not cover consequential
damage of any kind or damages res lting from accident, mis se, ab se, or
external service or repair attempts by na thorized personnel. Inq iries concerning
this warranty and the se and maintenance of this nit sho ld be directed to
Cadco, Ltd.
Please note: T is Model is a carry-in service item; customer is
responsible for packaging t e unit securely and returning it to Cadco* for
service, along with a copy of yo r original p rchase receipt, a description of
the problem, and yo r name, shipping address and phone n mber. Ship to:
Cadco, Ltd., Attn: REPAIR, 200 International Wayd, Winsted, CT 06098. If
shipping the nit for service, we recommend that yo ins re it for its original
p rchase price. Cadco is not responsible for damage or loss of nit in transit
to s.
Call Cadco at 860-738-2500 for Return Aut orization Number BEFORE
returning any item for repair. Return Aut orization Number MUST be
written on outside of carton to track t e unit and avoid service delays.
Warranty covers repairing t e unit and returning it to customer.

6. If sing steam pans, place the steam pan holder(s) on the warming base
before placing the steam pans in place.
7. Stainless steam pans may be sed in an oven, b t NOT the lids!!!
8. Food placed on warming base or in steam pans sho ld be f lly cooked and
already hot. These models are designed for keep-warm f nction only. To retain
eat and moisture in foods, keep lids on steam pans w en not serving.
9. Foods containing little or no liq id sho ld be kept warm on Low setting, and
stirred periodically.
10. If sing the nit as a reg lar warming tray witho t the steam pans, be s re
to se containers that are heat-proof. Note: The base is not designed to keep
large, deep pots f ll of food or liq id warm.
CARE AND CLEANING
Before initial se and after each s bseq ent se, Wash removable parts in
warm s dsy water, rinse and dry. The clear lids are top-rack dishwasher safe.
The most effective and safe way to clean the warming tray base is with a mild
detergent and a soft moist cloth. Do not se any sco ring agents! DO NOT
SUBMERGE THE WARMING TRAY BASE OR LET THE HEAT CONTROL
COME IN CONTACT WITH WATER.
If there is any food resid e remaining on the s rface, it sho ld be removed
after each se. To do so, scr b gently with a fine cleansing pad s ch as nylon
mesh or other ordinary cleansing pad. DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL OR
ABRASIVE KITCHEN CLEANERS. To polish, se a non-abrasive glass
cleaner. Any food resid e remaining can be whisked away with a gentle stroke
of a nylon mesh pad. Rinse and wipe dry. Do not allow water to spill or seep
into frame. Any maintenance required for this product, other than normal
care and cleaning, should be performed by our Factory.

HOW TO USE
Before sing for the first time, become familiar with the Warmer feat res,
Fig re A. Wash removable parts in warm s dsy water, rinse and dry. Clean the
warming tray base with a mild detergent and a soft moist cloth. Do not se any
sco ring agents! DO NOT SUBMERGE THE WARMING BASE OR LET THE
PLUG COME IN CONTACT WITH WATER. Rinse and wipe dry. Do not allow
water to spill or seep into the frame.
Initial Use:
Heat the warming base witho t foods on it for approximately 10 min tes at
maxim m setting in order to seal the special coating. Temporary smoking is
normal d ring initial se.
Subsequent Use:
1. Each level is eq ipped with a separate variable thermostat knob. Levels may
be operated at different temperat res sim ltaneo sly. Heat range is from 1550
to 2000 F, to keep foods at serving temperat res. For best res lts, se maxim m
heat setting to q ickly reach yo r desired temperat re, then adj st to desired
temperat re.

The signal light(s) will come on only d ring heat cycle. D e to the low wattage
necessary for warming trays, it can be 20-30 min tes before the light cycles
off.

Models CMLB-24P & CMLW-24RT come with fo r 4.3 q art stainless steam
pans. Each pan holds over 30 fo r o nce servings. The 4 clear polypropylene lids
on CMLW-24P have tensil slots. CMLW-24RT has 2 clear rolltop lids.

Yo may se Models CMLB-24P/CMLB-24RT either f lly assembled with steam
pans, (Fig re A) or se the warming base alone as a warming tray (Fig re
B).

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
To red ce the risk of personal inj ry or property damage when sing
electrical appliances, basic safety preca tions sho ld always be followed,
incl ding the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
2. Do not to ch hot s rfaces! Always se hot pads or pot holders ntil
nit cools.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse tray base, cord
or pl g in water or other liq id.
4. Close s pervision is necessary when any appliance is sed by or
near children.
5. Unpl g from o tlet when not in se and before cleaning. Allow to cool
completely before p tting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning
or storing the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or pl g or after
the appliance malf nctions or has been damaged in any manner.
Ret rn the appliance to the Cadco Factory Service Department
(call 860-738-2500 first) for examination, repair or adj stment. In
Canada call (905) 825-9665.
7. The se of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
man fact rer may ca se inj ries.
8. Do not se o tdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or co nter or to ch hot s rfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric b rner or in a heated oven.
11. It is recommended that this appliance not be moved when it contains
hot oil or other hot liq id.
12. Do not clean with metal sco ring pads. They can scratch and r in the
finish of yo r nit.
13. Do not se appliance for other than intended se.
14. DO NOT USE PLASTIC DISHES OR PLASTIC WRAP ON TRAY .
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: A short power s pply cord (or cord set) has been provided to red ce
the hazards res lting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer cord sets or extension cords may be sed if care is properly exercised in
their se. If a long cord set or extension cord is sed, the marked electrical rating
of the cord set or extension cord sho ld be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance. The longer cord sho ld be arranged so that it will not drape over
the co nter top or table top where it can be p lled on by children or tripped over
accidentally.
The high-tech warming s rface will remain nblemished for a long time with
appropriate care. The warming s rface and high-grade, long-life stainless steam
pans allow for an attractive alternative for keeping appetizers and other foods
warm. For best res lts se nylon, plastic, wooden or r bber tensils. Metal tensils
may be sed with care b t sho ld not be sed to c t food on the cooking s rfaces.
