Warning hot surface!
The element of the transfer press will become hot according to the
chosen temperature sengs. There is a risk of burns by touching it!
Warning hot products!
The products placed under the transfer press, (e.g. mugs, boles) will
become hot according to the chosen temperature sengs. Allow the
product to cool down or use protecve gear (such as heat-resistant
gloves) to avoid burns!

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS!
This manual was made to make the usage of the Calortrans transfer press as easy and safe
as possible. It is therefore recommended that you read this manual carefully and follow
the instrucons step by step.
Before use:
• Read the enre manual before using the press
• Upon delivery, check the press for transport damage. Then let the transfer press
acclimaze for 30 minutes at room temperature to prevent moisture problems or any
chance of a short circuit.
• Only use the transfer press when it is placed on a stable surface.
• Use the press only for sublimaon or laser transfers.
• The power cord must be connected directly to the power outlet without an extension
cord.
• The opmal recommended ambient temperature when using the transfer press is
between 15-50 ° C, with a relave humidity of up to 70%.
• Before connecng the machine, check that the voltage of the power cable is 230 volts
and the power is at least 10 amps.
• Do not use the machine if the power cord is damaged or defecve. In the event of
damage or malfuncon, do not open the press, but contact your dealer immediately.
If the press has been opened, the guarantee will expire.
• Do not use the transfer press in the presence of children or unauthorized persons,
due to the risk of catching burns. If the transfer press is nevertheless used in the
vicinity of children, a minimum distance of 1.5 meters must be maintained.
• Avoid contact of the transfer press with moisture, dirt, dust, mechanical vibraons, or
shocks.
• The manufacturer assumes no liability if property damage or personal
injury is caused by improper use of the transfer press

While operang:
• Work carefully and avoid direct contact with the heang element to reduce the risk of
burns.
• Always use the on/o buon to turn o the transfer press, never unplug the power
cord to do this.
• Use the transfer press preferably with one, if necessary two hands.
• Do not touch the heang element during use to avoid the danger of catching burns.
• Avoid contact of the power cable with the heat platen.
• While in operaon, never leave the press unaended
• Never place liquid materials in the transfer press. If this does happen, turn
the machine o immediately and remove the power cord from the wall socket. Then
immediately contact your dealer
Addional instrucons:
• When liing and moving the transfer press, avoid touching the heang element
and only the frame must be gripped. Before shipment, the transfer press must be
completely cooled down and be packed in the original packaging.
• Allow the element to cool down before switching.
• Keep these safety instrucons in a safe place.

1. Pressure wheel
The pressure wheel can be used to increase or decrease the pressure on your product. Turn
right to increase pressure, turn le de decrease pressure. Follow pressure recommendaons
provided by the manufacturer of the product.
2. LCD display
Use the LCD control panel to set the transfer press to the preferred sengs. More
informaon can be found In the next chapter.
3. Heat Element
The element is the part of the heat press that becomes hot. The element can easily be
switched for other (oponal) size elements.
4. On / O switch
The on and o switch. Make sure that the power cord is plugged in before switching on the
press. Switch the press o again before removing the power cord from the socket.

1. Temperature
This number displays the actual temperature of the heat platen. Wait for the transfer press
to heat up to the desired temperature before use.
2. Status
This icon shows that the transfer press is heang up. The desired temperature is reached
once the icon has disappeared.
3. Timer
The mer shows the amount of me that is le before the transfer is complete. Once the
press is closed the mer will automacally start counng down. Once the me has passed,
the machine will beep.
4. Menu
Hold this buon for 10 seconds to enter the menu. In the menu, you can set the me and
temperature, and reset the pieces counter. You can nd more info on how to use the menu
in the user manual.
5. Value
These buons can be used to increase or decrease the temperature and me in the menu.
Set the me and temperature to the recommended values for the product you are using.
6. Start
This buon starts the mer. You do not have to use this buon as the mer automacally
starts when closing the press.

Step 1. Inial setup
Plug the power cord in the power inlet on the
side of the press. Open the press and switch
the machine on with the power buon.
Step 2. Seng the temperature and me
1. Press and hold (10 sec) the menu
buon ( ). The temperature seng
will now appear (SP). Use the arrow
keys to increase or decrease the
temperature.
2. Press the menu buon again to set
the me (ST). Use the arrow keys
to decrease or increase the me.
3. Press the menu buon one last me
and the press is ready to use.
Time and temperature sengs
Which me and temperature sengs should you use? Every transfer has its own
sengs regarding temperature, me, and pressure. For example:
Calortrans A+++ Mugs are to be sublimated at 180 ºC (356ºF) for 180 seconds.
Please consult your transfer dealer for the recommended sengs.

Step 3. The transfer
1. Place the product inside the transfer press.
2. If necessary adjust the pressure using the pressure wheel. Turn right to
increase pressure, turn le to decrease pressure. Make sure the product is
locked in ght.
3. Fixate the transfer (e.g. sublimaon paper) on top of the product using
heat resistant tape.
4. Press the handle down to close the press.
6. Once the me has passed the press will beep.
Your transfer is now ready!

The Calortrans M55 comes with a 80 mm element. Other sizes are available and
can easily be switched by following these steps.
Changing the element
Switch o the machine Remove the powercord
Unscrew the element cord Slide the element out
Aach the element
Now follow steps 1 to 4 in
reverse order to aach the
other element.
