IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
For safe use of the Calortrans M55 mug Heatpress the following precautions
should be taken.
Before use:
• Read the entire manual before using the press
• Use the press only for textile transfers or products suitable for sublimations
• The power cord must be connected directly to the power outlet without an
extention cord.
• Before connecting the machine, check that the voltage of the power cable is
230 volts and the power is at least 10 amps.
• Do not use the machine if the power cord is damaged or defective. In the event
of damage or malfunction, do not open the press, but contact your dealer im
mediately. If the press has been opened, the guarantee will expire.
• Do not use the transfer press in the presence of children or unauthorized per
sons, due to the risk of catching burns. If the transfer press is nevertheless
used in the vicinity of children, a minimum distance of 1.5 meters must be
maintained.
• Avoid contact of the transfer press with moisture, dirt, dust, mechanical vibrati
ons or shocks.
While operating:
• Always use the on / off button to turn off the transfer press, never unplug the
power cord to do this.
• Do not touch the heat element during use to avoid the danger of catching
burns.
• Avoid contact of the power cable with the heat element.
• While in operation, never leave the press unattended
Additional instructions:
• When lifting and moving the transfer press, avoid touching the heat
element and only the frame must be gripped. Before shipment, the
transfer press must be completely cooled down and be packed in the
original packaging.
• Keep these safety instructions in a safe place.

his manual was made to make the usage of the Calortrans CT3838II trans-
fer press as easy and safe as possible. It is therefore recommended that you
read this manual carefully and follow the instructions step by step.
• Work carefully and avoid direct contact with the heat element to
reduce the risk of burns.
• Only use the transfer press when it is placed on a stable surface.
• Upon delivery, check the press for transport damage. Then let the
transfer press acclimatize for 7 hours at room temperature to prevent
moisture problems or any chance of a short circuit.
• Adjust the position of the transfer press to the preferred height of the
end user.
• Use the transfer press preferably with one, if necessary two
hands.
• The optimal recommended ambient temperature when using the
transfer press is between 15-50 ° C, with a relative humidity of up to
70%.
• Never place liquid materials or solid objects in the transfer press. If
this does happen, turn the machine off immediately and remove the
power cord from the wall socket. Then immediately contact your
dealer.
• The manufacturer assumes no liability if property damage or personal
injury is caused by improper use of the transfer press

Opmerking:
If the power cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or a
technician. This is to avoid any risk of
electric shock. Use a 250V power cable
- 10 AMP for replacement..
Warning:
Ignoring this information can cause:
• Damage to the machine
• Short circuit

Step 1. Connect the power cord
Check if the voltage is 230V before the
machine is connected.
The socket must be protected with at least
10 amps.
Do not use an extension cable, this can
cause overheating of the power cable and
/ or loss of voltage.
Step 2. Turning the machine on
• Open the transfer press.
• Locate the of/off button.
• Switch the transfer press on.

Note:
Adjust the pressure to the adviced settings for your type of mug by using the pres-
sure regulator. If you close the press, the timer will start and will give a signal when
the mug is ready.

Step 3. Setting the temperature and time
1. Press the menu button “SET” to set the temperature (SP)
use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease the
temperature.
2. Press the “SET” button again to set the time (ST)
use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease the
time.
3. Press the “SET” button again and the press is ready to go.
3. Press the “START” button to manualy start the timer. (you
can also just close the press to start te timer.)
Warning:
It is necessary that the pressure is correctly adjusted before the pro-
duct is pressed.

Step 4. Usage
Once the transfer press has reached the working temperature.
• Set the desired pressure, time and temperature
corresponding with the material that you wish to press.
• Place the product in the the transfer press.
• Close the mug by pressing the handle forward.
• After the time has elapsed and the signal has been given,
open the press by pulling back the handle.
