III. Description of Strapping Steps
1. Preparation: (a) Three rolls of strapping tape have been loaded.
(b) LED indicates green light.
2. Strapping Steps:
A. Place banknotes
B. Press START button
a. MP ON (Compress the banknotes by forward rotation.)
b. BK OFF
C. (Description A) MP OFF
a. BK ON (Description C)
D. 3 Sets of MF ON/OFF (Forward feeding tape.)
E. MC ON/OFF (Cam stops at first angle.)
F. 3 Sets of MF ON (Reverse pulling tape.)
G. 3 Sets of MF OFF (When tape is pulled tightly.)
H. MC ON/OFF (Cam stops at second angle, Description D)
I. MH ON/OFF (Description E)
J. MC ON/OFF (Cam stops at original angle.)
K. MP ON (Release the pressure on banknotes by reverse rotation.)
L. MP OFF
a. BK ON/OFF
M. Strapping steps complete.
N. Take the strapped banknotes away from the banknote stacker.
O. Stand-by for next strapping.
2. Description:
(A) If the photo protectors have been interrupted or any one of the START buttons has
been touched again after the START buttons have been pressed, MP will stop and
immediately turn in reverse to protect operator.
(B) When the banknotes are pressed tightly for both new and used banknotes, MP will stop
by increased current consumption.
(C) When the banknotes are pressed tightly, magnetic brake (BK) will be turned on to lock
the ball screw in order to maintain the pressure on banknotes for strapping.
(D) MC stops at second angle for sealing tape.
(E) Upper sealing set will move down to seal top two strapping cross centers and will return
to the original position automatically.
