1. Setzen Sie den Akku

das Ladegerat ein. (Abb. 1-@),

•Richten Sie die Vorderseite des Akkus
mit
den
FOhrungen des Ladegerats aus, und schieben Sie den
Akku dann bis zum Einrasten ein.
2. SchlieBen Sie den Netzstecker an eine Wandsteckdose

Je
nach Konfiguration der Wandsteckdose kann es
vorkommen, dass durch den Anschluss des Ladegerats
andere Steckdosen blockiert werden.
Der Netzanschluss des Ladegerats ist je nach
Auslieferungsland unterschiedlich.
Machen Sie sich bitte ebenfalls mit den betreffenden
Hinweisen zu Ihrem Produkt vertraut.
Hinweise:
•Das Ladegerat erwarmt sich beim Betrieb. Das ist
normal und keine Fehlfunktion.
•Wenn Sie das Ladegerat
in
der Nahe von einem
Fernseher verwenden, kann dies den Empfang
beeintrachtigen -entfernen Sie das Ladegerat von dem
Fernseher oder vom Antennenkabel.
•Das Ladegerat nie wahrend der Benutzung von der
Steckdose trennen.
•Das Ladegerat bei Nichtgebrauch vom Produkt trennen.
•Das Ladegerat kann mit einer mit einer

das Ladegerat nicht extremer Warme aussetzen,
wie
in
der
Nahe eines Ofens oder eines Heizkorpers.
•Das Ladegerat kann wahrend des Betriebs Gerausche

startet.

Please check your product's instruction manual to make
sure that your battery pack can be charged with this
charger.
You can use the Canon Battery Charger CB-2LW/CB-2LWE
to charge NB-2L, NB-2LH, BP-2L12 and BP-2L14 battery
packs.

Flip out the retractable plug (Fig.
1-CD).

7. Disconnect the power cord from the charger.

Push the plug back into its retracted position.
The shape of the plug differs according to the part of the
world it is designed for.
Please also refer to the explanatory material for the
product you purchased.
To charge battery packs
1.
Attach the battery pack to the charger (Fig. 1-@),
(Fig.2-@).
•Align the front end of the battery pack with the guides
on the charger, then press and slide the battery pack
into the charger to set it
in
place.
2.
Plug the AC plug into ahousehold power socket
(Fig.
1-®),
(Fig.
2-®).
Notes:
•The charger becomes warm during use. This is not a
malfunction.
•If the charger is used next to aTV, it may cause the
TV
to emit noise -move the charger away from the
TV
or
the antenna aerial cable.
•Never unplug the charger during use.
•Be sure to unplug the charger when you have finished
using it.
•The charger can be used with apower supply between
100 and 240 VAC. Contact your nearest Canon service
center for information about plug adapters for overseas
use.
•To prevent equipment breakdowns and excessive
heating, do not connect this charger to voltage
converters used by travelers, or special power sources
such as on aircraft, ships or DC to AC inverters, etc.
•Do not disassemble the charger, do not get it wet, and
do not expose it to shock or vibration, or to direct
sunlight. Avoid exposure to high temperatures, such as
in aclosed car in hot weather, and do not leave it near
heat-radiating equipment, such as astove or heater.
•The charger may make noise when it is operating. This is
not amalfunction.

The charge indicator lights in orange and charging
starts.
4.
The indicator light changes to green when the battery
pack is fully charged.
5.
Unplug the charger from the household power socket.
6.
Remove the battery pack by sliding it out.

communication devices or other sources of electric or magnetic radiation. They may cause picture
interference, or permanently damage the camera.

Water and Moisture -Hazard of electric shock -Do not use this product near water or

Placing or Moving -Do not place
on
an
unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table.

Power Sources -The product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated
on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your
product dealer or local power company. Regarding other power sources such as battery power,
refer to instructions

this manual.

Lightning -For added protection of this product during alightning storm, or when it is left
unattended and unused for long periods of time, disconnect it from the wall out'et and disconnect
the antenna. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges.
12.0verloading -Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result
in
arisk of fire
or electric shock.

Objects and Liquid Entry -Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as
they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result
in
afire or electric
shock. Be careful not to spill liquid of any kind onto the product.

Servicing -Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may
expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service
personnel.

Damage Requiring Service -Disconnect this product from the wall outlet and all power sources
including battery, and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions:

When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.

If any liquid has been spilled onto, or objects have fallen into,

product.
c.
If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
d.
If the product does not operate normally even if you follow the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered
by the operation instructions. Improper adjustment of other controls may result
in
damage and will often require extensive work by
aqualified technician to restore the product to its normal operation.

If the product has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.
f.
When the product exhibits adistinct change
in
