Streamline Production
The Swift UV Coater with In-line Bridge was
manufactured exclusively for Canon to be
compatible with the imagePRESS digital press.
It allows you to apply a UV coating in-line, so
your production progresses more eciently.
The UV Coater is also available as an oine
solution with the ability to add an Automatic
Feeder. Work that would have otherwise
been outsourced can now be done in-house,
increasing production and decreasing costs.
The in-line solution has been created for easy
implementation and usability. The bridge
transports the printed image after it’s output
from the imagePRESS digital press. It then
enters the coater, where a clear solution is
applied and then cured instantly with ultra-
violet light. This solution can be gloss, matte,
or satin. Once dried, the protective paper
coating is now moisture-proof, oil-resistant,
anti-abrasive, and easy to clean.
