•Removethedoor. Leavetheshelvesinplacesothatchildren cannoteasilyclimb
inside.
•Neverallowchildrentooperate, playwith,orclimbinsidethe appliance.

minimiseanyvibrations.
Yourcabinet isequipped with4adjustablefeet.However,werecommendthat you tighten the
back feettothemaximumand then usethe front feettolevelthe cabinet.
IMPORTANT:WAIT2HOURSBEFORETURNINGTHEWINECABINETONFORTHE
FIRSTTIME.
SafetyInstructions
•Afan evacuatesheatviathe bottomvents.
•It must beinstalled well awayfromanyheat source.
•It must not be placed indirect sun light.
•It must not be inadamplocation (laundry,pantry,bathroom,etc)
•It must beperfectlylevel.
•It must haveacorrectlyinstalled and reliableelectricitysupplycorrectlyearthed.
•Useofamulti-socket orextension lead isnotrecommended.
•Thiswine cabinetmustbeearthed toprovide protection intheeventofan electrical
short circuit.
•It isfitted withapowercordhaving an earthwireterminating ina13ampplug.
•Consultaqualified electrician orserviceengineeriftheearthing instructionsarenot
completelyunderstood.

OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS
The wine cabinetshouldbe placed wherethe ambienttemperatureisbetween 5-35 deg
centigrade (41-95 degreesFahrenheit).Ifthe ambienttemperatureisaboveorbelowthis
range,theperformanceofthe unitmaybe affected.Forexample,placingyourunitin
extremecoldorhotconditionsmaycauseinteriortemperaturestofluctuate.The range of
5-18 C(40-65 degreesFahrenheit)maynotbe reached.
•RUN
Indicatorlightilluminatestosignifythe cooling mode iscurrentlyinoperation.
•Light
Tocontrolthe innerlightturnon/off.
•Power
Tocontrolthis applianceturnon/off.
•SetUpper”Button
Used toraise(warm)the temperatureinthe top zone.
•SetLower”Button
Used tolower(cool)the temperatureinthe bottomzone.
•Upper”
Toshowthe temperatureof the top zone.
•Lower ”
Toshowthe temperatureof the bottomzone.
Setting theTemperature Control
•Eachcompartmentofthewine cabinet(upper&lower) isindependentlycontrolled.Toset
the temperature:
Connect thepowercordtoaproperlygrounded outlet. Intheeventof apowerinterruption,
all previoustemperaturesettingsareautomaticallyerased and eachcompartmentwill
defaulttoapreset temperaturesetting of: 7 forupperzone and 12 forlowerzone.
lSetthe desired cooling temperaturebypressing the buttonsadjacenttothe “setupper/set
lower”program. Eachdepression of the buttonswillscrollthrough the available
temperaturesettings(foreachcompartment)inincrementsof1degree.The temperature
selected willflashinthe LEDdisplayforapproximately5seconds, then revert backto
displaythe temperatureof the internalcabinet
Upper compartment:Thetemperaturesetting can be adjusted from5 to18 .
Lower compartment: The temperaturesetting can be adjusted from5 to18 .
lToviewthe “set”temperatureatanytime,press and holdthe corresponding button for
approximately5seconds,the “set”temperaturewilltemporarily “flash”inthe LEDdisplay
for5seconds.

DoorLock
The doorlockkeysarelocated inside theplasticbag that containsthe User’sGuide.Insert the
keyintothe lockand turnitcounterclockwisetounlockthe door.Tolock the doordo the
reverseoperation making suremetalpinisengaged completely.Removethekeyand placeit
inasecureplaceforsafekeeping.
InstallationofShelves
First pulltheshelfouttoitslimit,then liftthe edge of theshelf upwardand pull the shelf out of
the cabinet. Reversethisoperation toinstallthe shelf.(Note: you shouldfirstinsert the right
side of the shelf intothe railcompartment.)
NOTE:
Ifthe unitisunplugged,ifpowerislost, orturned-off,you mustwait3to5minutesbefore
restarting the unit.Ifyou attempttorestartbeforethistimedelay,the wine cabinetwillnotstart.
Whenyou usethe wine cabinetforthe firsttimeorrestartthe wine cabinetafterithasbeen
switched offforalong time,therecouldbe afewdegreesvariancebetween the temperature
you selectand theone indicatedon the LEDreadout.Thisisnormal and itisdue tothe
lengthofthe activation time.Oncethe wine cabinethasbeen running forafewhours,the
temperaturedisplaywillre-gainaccuracy.

DEFROSTING/CONDENSATION
Yourwine cabinetisdesigned withan “Auto-cycle”defrostsystem.When the RUN cycleis
OFF,the refrigerated surfaceofthe wine cabinet(interiorrearwall)defrostsautomatically.The
defrostwaterischanneled intoadrainpan whichislocated atthe back ofthewine cabinet
nexttothe compressorfromwhereit evaporates.
HUMIDITYMAINTENANCESYSTEM
The wine cabinetisequipped withasystemformaintaining the correctlevelof humidity.If
humidityistoo low,insertthe smallplasticreservoiron tothe top shelf. Fill thisreservoir3/4full
withwater. Check the waterleveloccasionallyand refillasnecessary.
CAREAND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
•Turnoff the power,unplug the appliance,and removeall itemsincluding shelvesand
rack.
•Washthe inside surfaceswithawarm waterandbaking soda solution.Thesolution
shouldbe about twotablespoonsofbaking soda toone litreofwater.
•Washthe shelveswithamilddetergentsolution.
•Wringexcess waterout ofthe sponge orclothwhen cleaning the controlpanel, orany
electricalparts.
•Washtheoutside cabinetwithwarm waterand mildliquiddetergent. Rinsewell and
wipe dry withaclean soft cloth.
Power Failure
•Mostpowerfailuresarecorrected withinafewhoursandshouldnotaffectthe temperature
ofyourapplianceifyou minimisethe numberoftimesthe doorisopened.Ifthe poweris
going tobe off foralongerperiod oftime,you need totakeactiontoprotectthe contents.
Vacation Time
•Shortvacations: Leavethe wine cabinetoperating during vacationsofless than three
weeks.
•Longvacations: If the wine cabinetwillnotbeused forseveralmonths,removeall items
and disconnect. Clean and dry the interiorthoroughly.Topreventodourand mould
growth, leavethe dooropen slightly(blocking it open ifnecessary).
MovingYourWineCabinet
•Removeallbottles.
•Securelytape downall shelvesinside thecabinet.
•Turnthe adjustablelegsup tothe basetoavoiddamage.
•Tape the doorshut.
•Besuretheappliancestayssecureand uprightduring transportation.Alsoprotect
the outside ofthe wine cabinet. (e.g. withablanket).
EnergySavingTips
•The wine cabinetshouldbe located inthe coolestarea ofaroom,awayfromheat
producing appliances, and outofthe direct sunlight.
