workingvideosourceisconnectedtothechoseninputoftheinterface - toseewhich
combinationgivesthebestpicturequalityandsize(some maygivenopicture).Itispossible
tofirsthotplugthroughthedipcombinations,butifyoudonotexperienceanychangeof
pictureaftertryingall4options,retryanddisconnectedthe6pinpowerplugofthevideo-
boxbetweeneverychangeofthedipsetting.

2. Installation
Switch off ignition and disconnect the vehicle’s battery! The interface needsapermanent
12Vsource.Ifaccordingtofactoryrulesdisconnectingthebatteryistobeavoided,itis
usuallysufficienttoputthevehicleissleep-mode.Incase thesleep-modedoes notshow
success,disconnectthebatterywitharesistorlead.
Ifpowersource isnottakendirectlyfromthebattery,theconnectionhastobechecked
forbeingstart-up provenand permanent.

connected.WhentheinterfaceisswitchedfromAV1 toAV2,theaudiosignalisswitched
parallel to the corresponding video signal by the interface’s built-inaudio-switch.

IftheCAN-businterface delivers+12V onthegreenwireofthe6pinto8pincablewhen
reversegearisengaged,thevideointerfacewillautomaticallybeswitchedtotherear-view
camerainputCAMwhilereversegearisengaged.
Additionally,the+12V(max.500mA) powersupplyfortherear-viewcameracanbe
