signalwhichistheinsertedintothefactorymonitoroncertaintriggeroptions.

Onlytheenabledvideoinputscanbeaccessedwhenswitchingthroughthe interface’s video
sources.Itisrecommendedtoenableonlytherequiredinputsforthedisabledwillbe
skippedwhenswitchingthroughthevideointerfacesinputs.

output signal must match the interface’s RGB video inputsetting.

IfsettoOFF,theinterface switchestofactoryLVDSpicturewhilethereversegearisengaged
todisplayfactoryrear-viewcameraorfactoryopticalparksystempicture.
IfsettoON,theinterfacewitchestoitsrear-viewcamerainputCAMwhilethereversegear
isengaged.
1.3.2.5.Monitorselection(dip7-8)
Dip7and 8areformonitor-specificvideosettings whichcannotbepredictedasevenwithin
thesamehead-unitversion,themonitorspecificationsmayvary.Itisnecessarytotryall
possiblecombinations(bothOFF,bothON,7OFF and8ON,7ON and8OFF)- whilea
workingvideosourceisconnectedtothechoseninputoftheinterface - toseewhich
combinationgivesthebestpicturequalityandsize(some maygivenopicture).Itispossible
tofirsthotplugthroughthedipcombinations,butifyoudonotexperienceanychangeof
pictureaftertryingall4options,retryanddisconnectedthe6pinpowerplugofthevideo-
boxbetweeneverychangeofthedipsetting.

2. Installation
Switch off ignition and disconnect the vehicle’s battery! The interface needsapermanent
12Vsource.Ifaccordingtofactoryrulesdisconnectingthebatteryistobeavoided,itis
usuallysufficienttoputthevehicleissleep-mode.Incase thesleep-modedoes notshow
success,disconnectthebatterywitharesistorlead.
Ifpowersource isnottakendirectlyfromthebattery,theconnectionhastobechecked
forbeingstart-up provenand permanent.
