Install B, C, D, & E on the marks made
on wall using G screws.

Install gate by inserting DOWN over parts
D(top) and E(bottom/floor) until a click is
heard seating gate.

NOTE: After installing gate on wall, the bottom of
gate will be completely flat on the floor. The red
line on top of gate will not be seen if this gate is
correctly attached to the wall hooks.
Children have died or been seriously injured when gates are not securely installed.
· ALWAYS install and use gates as directed using all required parts.
· STOP using when a child can climb over or dislodge the gate.
· Use only with the latching mechanism securely engaged.
· NEVER use to keep child away from pool.
If installing at TOP OF STAIRS,
install at least 6 inches from the stair.

Your Cardinal Gate is warranted to be free of manufacturing defects
for a period of one year from the date of purchase when used in
homes, and according to manufacturers instructions. When used
commercially, such as day care centers, the warranty is 90 days.
CARDINAL GATES, INC. will either repair or replace, at our option,
any parts necessary to correct defects in material or workmanship
during the warranty period. The warranty disclaims liabilty for
incidental, special and consequential damages of any nature.

1. Push forward
(toward wall) on
locking tab.
2. Lift center until
red is shown.

center.

tabs to lower upper
locking pin and
push under part B.
Release to lock in
place.

to release gate from
part B.
1. Lift gate out of
part C and gate
will retract back
into housing.

• Close gates gently to prevent damage to latch
mechanism.
• When closing, be sure safety bracket on gate frame
engages as depicted in instructions.
• For safety, always close gate when not in use.
Children should not be allowed to swing on an open
gate as this can damage gate.
