The Manero Flyback celebrates the cosmopolitan spirit
that has been an integral part of Carl F. Bucherer’s DNA
since 1888. And its movement has something distinctly
unique to offer: the sophisticated CFB 1973 chronograph
movement with flyback function.
SETTIMESTARTTHEWATCH
The movement is wound by the motion of the
wrist when worn. When not worn, the watch
stops after approximately 56 hours and has
to be wound manually.
Manually wind the move-
ment by rotating the
crown at least 30 times in
the clockwise direction.
In order for the date to properly move at
midnight, the hour hand must intentionally
be set to a.m. or p.m. based on the current
time.
Pull the crown until it is
in position 2. The second
hand does not move.
Move the crown until the
date changes. Then delib-
erately set the current
time either a.m. or p.m.
Push the crown back to
the initial position. The
second hand is back in
motion.

The chronograph can be used to measure time
intervals for up to 30 minutes exactly to 1/8
second. The time measured can be read using
the seconds and minutes counters.
To stop measuring time,

immediately.
Read the average speed
by optical extension of the
seconds counter.

Start the tachymeter
function by using the P1
pusher. The seconds
counter is in motion.
While time measurement
is in progress, push the
P2 pusher to reset all the
counters to zero. The next
time measurement starts
automatically. In order to
put all the counters back
to zero after that, press
the P2 pusher with the
chronograph function
stopped.
The tachymeter is used to determine speed.
It measures the elapsed time needed to cover
a specific distance. The distance covered must
be known so that the time can be stopped at
an exact time to determine the exact speed.
The timepiece also has a precise chronograph
with a flyback switch. This flyback mechanism
allows one to quickly start a second time mea-
surement while one is in progress. That makes
it unnecessary to push the stop, reset and
start buttons.









CLEANING
To clean the outer surface of the watch, wipe
it gently with a microfiber cloth. Use a fine
toothbrush and a bit of soapy solution to
clean the back of the watch and the metal
band. Dry using a lint-free towel. Minimize
contact between the leather straps and the
water.
MAINTENANCE
As a mechanical instrument, a watch
requires maintenance by an authorized
service center about once every four years.

sweat, drops of water and rain. Water resis-
tance is guaranteed only if the crown is in
the initial position and should be checked
once per year.

ZEITMESSENCHRONOGRAPH
Die Zeitmessung mit dem
Drücker P1 starten. Der
Sekundenzähler setzt sich
in Bewegung.
Mit dem Chronographen können Zeitintervalle
von maximal 30 Minuten auf die Achtelsekunde
genau gestoppt werden. Die gestoppte Zeit über
Sekunden- und Minutenzähler ablesen.
Um die Zeitmessung zu
stoppen, den Drücker P1
nochmals betätigen. Der
Sekundenzähler stoppt
augenblicklich.
Durch optische Verlänge-
rung des Sekundenzählers
die Durchschnitts-
geschwindigkeit ablesen.



TACHYMETERFUNKTIONFLYBACKFUNKTION
Die Tachymeterfunktion mit
dem Drücker P1 starten.
Der Sekundenzähler setzt
sich in Bewegung.
Bei laufender Zeitmessung
den Drücker P2 drücken,
um alle Zähler in die Null-
stellung zu bringen. Beim
Loslassen startet die nächs-
te Zeitmessung. Um danach
alle Zähler wieder in die
Nullstellung zu bringen,
den Drücker P2 bei gestopp-
ter Chronographenfunktion
betätigen.
Das Tachymeter dient zur Bestimmung von
Geschwindigkeiten. Es wird die Zeit gemessen,
die für das Zurücklegen einer bestimmten
Strecke benötigt wird. Die zurückgelegte Strecke
muss bekannt sein, damit die Zeit exakt
gestoppt und die Geschwindigkeit abgelesen
werden kann.
Das Funktionsmodul weist zudem einen präzi-
sen Chronographen mit Flyback-Schaltung auf.
Dieser Flyback-Mechanismus ermöglicht es,
eine schnelle 2. Zeitmessung aus einer laufen-
den Zeitmessung zu starten. Die Betätigung des
Stopp-, Rückstell- und Startdrückers entfällt
damit.

PFLEGE
Die Uhr zur Oberflächenreinigung sanft mit
einem Mikrofasertuch abreiben. Der Uhren-
boden und das Metallband mit einer feinen
Zahnbürste und etwas Seifenwasser reinigen
und mit einem fusselfreien Handtuch trock-
nen. Lederbänder so wenig wie möglich mit
Wasser in Kontakt bringen.
WARTUNG
Eine Uhr als mechanisches Instrument
benötigt circa alle 4 Jahre eine Wartung
durch eine autorisierte Servicestelle.
PFLEGEUNDWARTUNG
Eine mit 3bar (30m) geprüfte Uhr ist wider-
standsfähig gegen Schweiss, Wassertropfen
und Regen. Die Wasserdichtheit ist nur bei
Kronen in der Ausgangsposition gewährleistet
und sollte einmal jährlich geprüft werden.

Les montres à remontage automatique se
remontent automatiquement lorsqu’on les porte
au poignet. Si la montre n’est pas portée, elle
s’arrête après environ 56 heures. Il convient donc
de remonter le mouvement à la main.

Le tachymètre est utilisé pour déterminer la
vitesse. Il mesure le temps nécessaire pour
parcourir une distance définie. La distance
parcourue doit être connue de manière à pou-
voir arrêter le temps à un moment précis et
être en mesure de lire la vitesse.
Le module fonctionnel dispose également d’un
chronographe précis muni de la fonction flyback.
Le mécanisme flyback permet de démarrer rapi-
dement un second chronométrage lorsqu’il y en
a déjà un en cours. Il n’est donc pas nécessaire
d’appuyer sur les boutons stop, reset et start.

ENTRETIEN
Pour nettoyer la surface externe de la montre,
frottez-la doucement avec un chiffon microfibre.
Nettoyez le fond de la montre et le bracelet
métallique à l’aide d’une brosse à dent souple
et d’un peu d’eau savonneuse. Séchez en utili-
sant un chiffon non pelucheux. Evitez de
mettre les bracelets en cuir au contact de l’eau.
MAINTENANCE
Une montre est un instrument mécanique.
À ce titre, elle nécessite tous les 4 ans environ
un entretien effectué par un centre de services
agréé.

Quando l’orologio viene indossato, il suo
movimento viene caricato grazie a quello del
polso. Se l’orologio non viene indossato, si
arresta dopo circa 56 ore e deve essere riav-
viato manualmente.

Il tachimetro è usato per determinare la velo-
cità. Misura il tempo necessario a coprire una
determinata distanza. La distanza coperta
deve essere nota, così che il tempo possa esse-
re arrestato in un preciso momento e a una
velocità rilevata.
Il modulo della funzione dispone anche di un
preciso cronografo con un interruttore di azze-
ramento. Questo meccanismo di azzeramento,
consente di avviare rapidamente una misura-
zione di un secondo tempo, mentre uno è in
corso. Ciò rende inutile premere stop, ripristi-
nare e avviare i pulsanti.

PULIZIA
Strofinare l’orologio delicatamente con un
panno in microfibra per pulire la superficie.
Pulire il retro della cassa e il bracciale di
metallo con uno spazzolino da denti sottile e
un po’ di acqua e sapone, quindi asciugare con
un asciugamano privo di pelucchi. Ridurre il
più possibile il contatto fra il cinturino in
pelle e l’acqua.
MANUTENZIONE
Un orologio, in quanto strumento meccanico,
necessita di una manutenzione ogni 4 anni
circa presso un laboratorio autorizzato.

Un orologio testato a 3bar (30m) resiste a
sudore, gocce d’acqua e pioggia.

El movimiento de cuerda se produce por el
movimiento de la muñeca al llevar puesto
el reloj. En caso de no llevarlo puesto, el reloj
se para después de unas 56 horas y debe
ponerse en marcha manualmente.

El cronógrafo puede utilizarse para detener
intervalos de tiempo de hasta 30 minutos con
una precisión de 1/8 segundos. El tiempo
detenido puede leerse utilizando los contado-
res de segundos y minutos.




El taquímetro se utiliza para determinar la

El módulo de función también cuenta con un
cronógrafo de precisión con un interruptor de
flyback. Este mecanismo de flyback le permite
a uno comenzar rápidamente una segunda
medición de tiempo mientras otra está en pro-
greso. Esto hace innecesario presionar los
botones de parada, reinicio e inicio.

LIMPIEZA
Frotar la superficie del reloj suavemente con
una gamuza de microfibra. Limpie el fondo
del reloj y la correa metálica con un cepillo de
dientes fino y un poco de agua enjabonada y
séquelo con una paño sin pelusas. En el caso
de las correas de cuero evitar en lo posible el
contacto con el agua.
MANTENIMIENTO
Al tratarse de un instrumento mecánico, un
reloj requiere un mantenimiento por parte de
un servicio técnico autorizado cada cuatro
años.

Un reloj sometido a prueba a 3bar (30m) es
resistente al sudor, gotas de agua y lluvia.
La resistencia al agua solo se garantiza si la
corona se encuentra en la posición inicial y

清潔
清潔腕錶錶面時須用超細纖維布輕輕擦拭。閣下
可小心使用軟毛刷和少量肥皂水清潔腕錶底蓋和
金屬錶帶，然後用無絨手巾輕輕擦乾。 皮革是
天然產品，會自然老化。水會加速老化過程。因
此，皮革錶帶最好避免接觸到水。
保養
腕錶都是精心研製的精密儀器。每一枚腕錶都應
該定期檢查。建議每四年到授權服務中心將腕錶
檢查保養一次。
清潔與保養
腕錶經嚴格測試後，能達到防水 30 米，能抵禦
汗水、水滴及雨水，但需要在錶冠處於最初的位
置方能確保防水功能，而腕錶防水功能需要每年
測試一次。
