Warning:
- Do not plug into extension cords, power strips, outlet timers, surge protectors, or multioutlet extensions of any
type
- Do not operate the unit near flammable items or in environments where flammable fumes may be present
- For outdoor use only.
- This heater is not intended for indoor use. Do not use the heater in reach of a shower, bathtub, sink, or a swimming
pool.
- Do not immerse the unit, plug, or power cord in water or other liquids.
- Do not kink the power cord when storing or while in use.
- Do not run the power cord under carpets or rugs.
- Place the unit on a hard, level surface when operating. Do not operate the unit on soft or uneven surfaces as it
could cause the unit to fall over and cause damage and/or injury.
- This heater includes tip over protection – this protection will shut the unit off if it tips over to reduce the risk of
fire. If the unit shuts off due to tip over, unplug the unit and stand it upright, allow the unit to cool for 15 minutes.
If the halogen heating bulb shatters, do not operate the unit. If the bulb is in good working condition, plug it back
into a 120V wall outlet to reset the unit and begin operation again.
- Do not attempt to take the unit apart.
- Two dark areas may exist on the surfaces of the heating elements during the first few minutes after the unit is
turned on. This is normal and will not affect the performance of the unit.
- Never leave the unit unattended when it is operating.
- Use only with 120V electrical outlets
- Do not operate the unit if the power cord is damaged.
- Do not allow children or anyone unfamiliar with these directions to operate the unit.
- Keep the heater and its power cord away from children.
- The top of the heater will become very hot during operation. Do not touch the top of the heater while it is operating
or immediately after powering off. Allow the unit to cool for at least 15 min before touching the head of the heater.
Failure to do so can cause serious and/or permanent bodily injury.
- Do not insert foreign objects into the protective cage surrounding the halogen heating bulb.
- Keep the unit at least four (4) feet away from walls, curtains, flags, furniture, and other objects while in use.
- The top of the unit should be at least two (2) feet from a ceiling or overhang.
- Before storing or moving the unit first unplug and then allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes.
- Do not place any foreign objects on the top of the heater. The top of the heater will become hot during operation.
- Do not touch the top of the heater or the protective metal cage while it is in use. Unplug and allow the unit to cool
for at least 15 minutes before touching.
- Do not operate the unit near sprinklers, fountains, or in the rain.
- Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical components.
- To further reduce the risk of tip over, do not operate the heater in windy conditions.
- Do not use the heater to dry clothing.
- WARNING: make sure that the unit is completely OFF before leaving it unattended
- Do not overtighten screws needed for assembly. Overtightening the screws can strip the head of the screws which
prevent proper assembly.

ASSEMBLY
- Verify that all components listed below are included in the product packaging before beginning the assembly
process.

WARNING:
Do not plug the heater into an electrical supply or otherwise attempt to turn the unit on until all assembly steps are
completed.
Do not connect the heater to an electrical supply or otherwise attempt to turn the unit on if any of the components or
the power cord appear to be damaged.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Using four M6*30mm screws, attach Tube C to the base and tighten until secure.
Step 2: Slide the DECORATION COVER over TUBE C so that it rests on the base.
Step 3: Slide 1 POWER CORD CLAMP, which is meant to hold the power cord in place, over TUBE B. Once the POWER
CORD CLAMP is positioned in the middle of TUBE B, tighten the preinstalled screws on the POWER CORD CLAMP to
secure. Next, attach TUBE B to TUBE C using three M5*6mm screws. Tighten until secure.

Step 4: Slide 1 POWER CORD CLAMP over TUBE A. Once the POWER CORD CLAMP is positioned in the middle of TUBE
A, tighten the preinstalled screws on the POWER CORD CLAMP to secure. Next, attach TUBE A to TUBE B using three
M5*6mm screws. Tighten until secure.
Step 5: Attach the HEATER HEAD to the top of TUBE A. Use two ST4*12mm screws to secure the HEATER HEAD to TUBE
A. Tighten until secure. Clip the power cord to the two POWER CORD CLAMPS to secure the power cord. The unit is
now assembled.

OPERATION
Height Adjustment:
- The top of TUBE A features an adjustable height pole. Make sure that the unit if OFF and has cooled for at least 15
min before attempting to adjust the height. The height of the unit is adjustable from 5.57 ft. – 6.88 ft.
- To adjust the height of the heater, turn the dial at the top of TUBE A counterclockwise until you can freely move
the smaller HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT TUBE protruding from TUBE A up and down freely. Select the desired height
while holding onto the smaller HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT TUBE protruding from TUBE A and tighten the dial by turning
it clockwise until secure. Once secure, your heater is ready for use.

The Cascade 1500-Watt Patio Heater utilizes a drawstring
cord for operation. Follow the steps below to operate the
heater once the unit has been properly assembled:
1) Plug heater into a wall outlet
2) Gently pull the drawstring down until a clicking
sound is heard. This will turn the heater ON to
the LOW (750 Watt) heat setting.
3) To turn the heater to HIGH (1500 Watts), gently
pull the drawstring a second time until a clicking
sound is heard. This will turn the heater to the
HIGH (1500 Watt) setting.
4) To turn the heater OFF, gently pull the drawstring
while the heater is in the HIGH heat setting. To
turn the heater OFF while it is in the LOW
setting, you will need to gently pull the
drawstring twice. Once to turn the heater to
HIGH and then to turn the heater OFF.

Cleaning Instructions:
- Unplug the unit and allow it to cool for at least 15 min before attempting to clean. With the unit unplugged,
use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the unit. Do not attempt to clean the heating elements. Allow
unit to fully dry before use.
