SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The installation should be made by qualified service personnel or system installers and should
conform to all local codes.

1. Power supply
(1) Use only with a 24V AC power supply marked class 2 or +12V DC regulated power supply
marked class 2.
(2) To prevent fire or electrical shock, UL listed class 2 wiring should be used for the 12VDC or
24VAC input terminal.
(3) Be sure to connect each lead to the appropriate terminal. Wrong connection may cause
malfunction and/or damage to the video camera.
2. Operating and storage locations
(1) Do not attempt to aim the camera at the sun or other extremely bright objects that cause
smear to appear irrespective of whether the camera is operating or not. This can damage
the CCD(Charge Coupled Device).
(2) Do not place the camera in the following locations.
a) Locations subjected to extremely high or low temperatures.
(operating temperature range : -10°C to +50°C {14°F to 122°F})
(storage temperature range : -20°C to +60°C {-4°F to 140°F})
b) Locations subjected to high levels of humidity and dust.
(operating humidity range:max 85% {no condensation})
(storage humidity range : max 85% {no condensation})
c) Locations where there are large amounts of water vapour and steam
d) Ensure the location selected is sufficiently strong enough to support the weight of the camera
and is free from vibration.
(3) When this camera is installed near equipment, like a wireless communication device, that
emits a strong electromagnetic field, some irregularity such as noise on the monitor screen
may happen.
(4) Be sure to use screws suitable for the type of material to which the camera is being mounted.
3. Handling of the unit
Do not allow the camera to be subjected to strong impacts or shocks. The camera could be
damaged by improper handling or storage.
- Never attempt to disassemble or modify the camera.
- If an abnormality should occur, immediately turn off the power and consult your dealer.
The CE Marking is a Directive Conformity mark of the European Union (EU).

OSD (On Screen Display) Operation
1) Menu button:
Push Menu button, and following screen will apear.

Blinking title is your choice at
present. The blinking item
goes up and down by pushing
"UP"/"DOWN" buttons. After
selecting the title, push "Enter"
to set.
After you finish your settings,
push "Menu" button to exit.
Push "Cancel" button to go
back to Main Menu while
adjusting.
2) PRESET:
You can set 64 different Zoom/Focus positions.
How to preset:
a) First, obtain the desired picture by using "ZOOM" and/or "FOCUS".
b) Then, go back to "Main Menu", and select "PRESET".
c) Push "Enter" twice and select "Position" 1 through 64, and push "Enter".
d) Move the cursor down to "SET" and push "Enter".
e) Repeat a) to d) to set Max. 64 positions.
f) to operate the Preset position:
f-1) Select "PRESET", and push "Enter" twice.
f-2) Select Position (1 through 64) by "UP" or "DOWN" button, and push "Enter".
f-3) Move the cursor down to "RECALL" and push "Enter".
f-4) Repeat f-1) to f-3) to choose other positions.

3) ZOOM:
a) Select "ZOOM" in Main Menu by pushing "Enter" button.
b) Select "Tele/Wide" by pushing "Enter" button.
c) Move the cursor down to "TELE", and push "Enter" twice to zoom in.
Push "Enter" again to stop zooming in.
d) When you would like to zoom out, push "Enter" once, and then push "UP" button.
Then, you switch to "WIDE". Push "Enter" to zoom out and push "Enter" again to stop
zooming out.
Electronic Zoom: a) Select "ZOOM" in Main Menu, and push "Enter".
b) Push "Enter" again. Then, "E. ZOOM" is blinking.
c) Push "Enter", and then select "off, 4X, or 8X" by pushing "UP" or
"DOWN" button. Then, push "Enter" to set.
Zoom Speed: a) Select "ZOOM" in Main Menu, and push "Enter".
b) Push "Enter", and move the cursor down to "SPEED".
c) Push "Enter", and select Speed between "0" (slowest) to "7" (fastest)
by pushing "UP" or "DOWN" button.
d) Push "Enter" to set.

POSITION : 1 through 64
RECALL: move to preset postion.
SET: record the position.
RESET: back to factory setting.
RESET ALL:put all positions back to factory settings.
g) to Reset the particular Preset position back to factory setting.
g-1)Select "PRESET", and push "Enter" twice.
g-2)Select particular Preset Position (1 through 64) by "UP" or "DOWN" button, and
push "Enter".
g-3)Move the cursor down to "RESET" and push "Enter".
g-4)Repeat g-1) to g-3) to reset other positions.
h) to Reset all the positions (64 positions) back to factory settings.
h-1)Select "PRESET", and push "Enter" once.
h-2)Move the cursor down to "RESET ALL", and push "Enter".

TELE/WIDE: setting by TELE/WIDE
DIRECT: setting by input the number
E.ZOOM: Digital Zoom ON (x 4, x 8) / OFF setup
SPEED: speed of TELE/WIDE setup

POSITION: input a hexadecimal number (on DIRECT)
4) FOCUS:
a) Select "FOCUS" in Main Menu by pushing "Enter" button.
b) Select "AF, FAR/NEAR, DIRECT, ONE-PUSH, INFINITY".
AF mode: a)Push "Enter", and select "SENSE(AF Sensitivity)" to High or Low by "UP"
(Auto Focus) or "DOWN" button, and push "Enter" to set.
FAR/NEAR: a)Select "FAR/NEAR" by pushing "Enter" button.
b)Push "Enter" again and move the cursor down to "FAR".
c)Push "Enter" again. Then, "FAR" is blinking, and select "FAR" or "NEAR"
by pushing "UP" or "DOWN" button.
d)Push "Enter" to start Focus movement, and push "Enter" again to stop.
Focus Speed: a)Select "FAR/NEAR" by pushing "Enter" button, and "SPEED" is blinking.
b)Push "Enter", and select Speed between "0" (slowest) to "7"(fastest) by
pushing "UP" or "DOWN" button.
c)Push "Enter" to set.
DIRECT: a)Select "DIRECT".
b)You can set the focus position by Hexadecimal number.
ONE-PUSH: One-Push AF button.
INFINITY: Set to "Infinity" focus."
SENSE: Select Sensitivity between HIGH/LOW. This can be controlled only during
AF mode.
AF: Auto Focus
FAR/NEAR: setting by FAR/NEAR
DIRECT: setting by input a numerical number
ONE-PUSH: one-push Auto Focus
INFINITY: forced infinity
SPEED: speed of FAR/NEAR
SENSE: sensitivity of Auto Focus
FAR/NEAR: FAR/NEAR setting
POSITION: input a hexadecimal number (on DIRECT)

5) WHITE BALANCE:
Select from:AUTO: 3200-6000K
INDOOR: 3200K
OUTDOOR: 5800K
AWB: one-push AWB
ATW: 2000-10000K
MANUAL: R/B setting
and push "Enter" to set.
MANUAL: a) Push "Enter" button.
b) Adjust "R" & "B" by "UP" or "DOWN" button.
6) AE:
Select from:FULL AUTO

SHUTTER:Shutter Priority
IRIS: Iris Priority
GAIN: Gain Priority
Slow Shutter Mode: This is frame integration mode, which is suitable for getting bright picture in
darkness. But this is not suitable for fast moving object.
a) Select "FULL AUTO" mode, and push "Enter".
b) Select "Slow : off" or "Slow : on" by "UP" or "DOWN" button.
c) Push "Enter" to set.
When you select the mode other than AE, please select desirable level for SHUTTER/ IRIS/GAIN
by pushing "UP" or "DOWN" button.
Choose which white
balance is used.

a) Select "EXPCOMP" and push "Enter".
b) Select "ON".
c) Adjust the level by "UP" or "DOWN"
button.
d) Push "Enter" to set.
8) BACK LIGHT:
To select "Back Light Compensation" On or OFF.
a) Select "BACK LIGHT" and push "Enter".
b) Select "ON" or "OFF" by "UP" or "DOWN"
button.
c) Push "Enter" to set.
9) ENHANCER:
To select the level of Edge Enhancement
(soft or sharp).
a) Select "ENHANCER" and push "Enter".
b) Adjust to Soft or Sharp by "UP" or
"DOWN" button.
c) Push "Enter" to set.
10) CHROMA:
To select "Chroma gain" level.
a) Select "CHROMA" and push "Enter".
b) Adjust "Chroma gain" by "UP" or

To freeze the picture.

12) DATE/TIME:
To set the date and time.

c) Set the date/time by "Enter" button, and

13) TITLE:
