1. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Lea las siguientes instrucciones atentamente antes de usar
el producto. Guarde este manual para referencias futuras o
nuevos usuarios.
Asegúrese de que el voltaje de red coincida con el voltaje
especicado en la etiqueta de clasicación del producto y de
que el enchufe tenga toma de tierra.
Inspeccione el cable de alimentación regularmente en
busca de daños visibles. Si el cable presenta daños, debe
ser reparado por el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica ocial de
Cecotec para evitar cualquier tipo de peligro.
Para evitar descargas eléctricas, no utilice agua, sustancias
inamables ni otros líquidos para limpiar ni permita que
estos entren dentro del producto.
No sumerja el cable, el enchufe o cualquier otra parte del
producto en agua o cualquier otro líquido, ni exponga las
conexiones eléctricas al agua. Asegúrese de que tiene las
manos completamente secas antes de tocar el enchufe o
encender el producto.
El dispositivo se debe instalar, utilizar y almacenar en
estancias de mínimo 4 m².
En caso de defecto o mal funcionamiento, apague y
desconecte el dispositivo inmediatamente.
No utilice el dispositivo si su cable o alguna de sus partes
están dañadas. En este caso, contacte con el Servicio de
Atención Técnica ocial de Cecotec.
No utilice insecticidas, perfumes u otras sustancias
inamables cerca del producto. No utilice el dispositivo con
productos que desprendan olor.

No instale el dispositivo cerca de aparatos que generen calor
ni cerca de materiales inamables o peligrosos.
Este producto no puede reemplazar otros productos
normales de ventilación.
Asegúrese de que el producto se utiliza y guarda en lugares
bien ventilados.
Durante el funcionamiento, deje un espacio libre de 20 cm
en la parte trasera y a cada lado del producto.
Instale el tubo de desagüe a un ángulo que permita que el
agua condensada se vaya vaciando.
Instale el dispositivo de manera que el adaptador quede

No retuerza, doble, estire o dañe el cable de alimentación.
Protéjalo de bordes alados y fuentes de calor. No permita
que el cable toque supercies calientes. No deje que el cable
asome sobre el borde de la supercie o encimera.

El dispositivo indicará:
Al conectar la unidad a la toma de corriente, se indicará el nivel de humedad en el ambiente.
Una vez haya congurado el nivel de humedad deseado, se mostrará.
Cuando se haya congurado el tiempo en el que desea que el dispositivo se encienda o
apague, se mostrarán las horas.
Cuando el nivel de humedad en el ambiente esté por debajo de 35 %, mostrará “35”.
Cuando el nivel de humedad en el ambiente esté por encima de 95 %, mostrará “95”.

3. ANTES DE USAR
Saque el producto de la caja.
Retire todo el material de embalaje. Guarde la caja original.
Asegúrese de que todos los componentes están incluidos, y si faltara alguno o no
estuvieran en buen estado, contacte con el Servicio de Atención Técnica ocial de Cecotec
inmediatamente.
Al instalar el dispositivo, asegúrese de dejar una distancia de seguridad de 20 cm a cada
lado. (Fig.4)
4. FUNCIONAMIENTO
El indicador de encendido se iluminará al conectar el dispositivo a la toma de corriente,
aunque no esté en funcionamiento.
Pulse el botón de inicio para poner el dispositivo en funcionamiento. Pulse de nuevo para
que deje de funcionar.
Pulse el botón de velocidad alta-baja para activar esta función. Pulse el mismo botón para
seleccionar la velocidad alta o baja.
Pulse el botón de ajustes para congurar el nivel de humedad en el ambiente deseado.
Seleccione de 40 % a 80 %, en intervalos de 5 %.
Aviso: tras haber funcionado durante un tiempo, 3 minutos después de que la humedad
ambiente caiga 2 % por debajo del porcentaje seleccionado, el dispositivo dejará de
funcionar. Cuando el nivel de humedad ambiente sea igual o superior al porcentaje que
se ha seleccionado, el dispositivo volverá a ponerse en funcionamiento automáticamente.
Vaciado del agua (Fig.5)
Cuando el depósito de agua esté lleno, el indicador de depósito lleno se iluminará, el
dispositivo dejará de funcionar automáticamente y emitirá 15 pitidos alertando al usuario
de la necesidad de vaciarlo.
Cómo vaciar el depósito de agua:
Presione suavemente a ambas partes del depósito con las manos y tire con cuidado del
depósito para retirarlo.
Vacíe el agua del depósito.
Aviso: (Fig.6) No retire la boya de dentro del depósito. En sensor de depósito lleno dejará
de detectar el nivel de agua al retirar la boya, por lo que el agua podría salirse del depósito.
Para instalar el depósito de nuevo, empújelo rmemente con ambas manos hasta colocarlo
en su posición. En caso de que el depósito no estuviera bien instalado, el indicador de
depósito lleno se activará y el dispositivo no funcionará. (Fig.7)

Desagüe continuo de agua
La unidad cuenta con una salida de vaciado continuo. Utilice el tubo de plástico (con un
diámetro interior de 10 mm), insértelo en el agujero de vaciado (placa intermedia), sáquelo
por el lado del depósito de agua y coloque el tubo de forma apropiada. (Fig.8)
El agua será vaciada de forma continua.
5. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Apague y desconecte el dispositivo de la toma de corriente antes de limpiarlo o repararlo.
Utilice un paño suave y húmedo con un poco de producto de limpieza neutro para limpiar
el exterior del producto.
Si no va a utilizar el producto en un periodo prolongado de tiempo, vierta el agua restante,
séquelo cuidadosamente y guárdelo en un lugar seguro y bien ventilado.
Si el depósito de agua está sucio, lávelo con agua fresca o tibia. No utilice detergentes,
esponjas abrasivas, paños tratados químicamente, gasolina, benceno u otros disolventes,
ya que estos podrían rascar o dañar el depósito y dar lugar a fugas.
Limpieza del ltro (Fig.9)
Abra el compartimento del ltro y saque el ltro.
Utilice con cuidado un aspirador para retirar el polvo y suciedad del ltro (Fig.10). En caso
de que el ltro esté especialmente sucio, límpielo con agua tibia y un jabón suave. Séquelo
cuidadosamente.
Para colocar el ltro, insértelo en el compartimento y coloque el compartimento en su
posición correcta. (Fig.11)
Almacenamiento
Antes de guardar el dispositivo durante un largo periodo de tiempo:
Vacíe el agua de dentro del depósito.
Guarde el cable dentro del depósito de agua.
Limpie el borde del ltro.
Guárdelo en un lugar fresco y seco.

8. RECICLAJE DE ELECTRODOMÉSTICOS
La directiva europea 2012/19/UE sobre Residuos de Aparatos Eléctricos
y Electrónicos (RAEE) especica que los electrodomésticos no deben
ser reciclados con el resto de los desperdicios municipales. Dichos
electrodomésticos han de ser desechados de forma separada,
para optimizar la recuperación y reciclaje de materiales y, de esta
manera, reducir el impacto que puedan tener en la salud humana y el
medioambiente.
El símbolo del contenedor tachado le recuerda su obligación de desechar este producto

Para obtener información detallada acerca de la forma más adecuada de desechar sus

9. GARANTÍA Y SAT
Este producto tiene una garantía de 2 años desde la fecha de compra, siempre y cuando se
conserve y envíe la factura de compra, el producto esté en perfecto estado físico y se le dé
un uso adecuado tal y como se indica en este manual de instrucciones.
La garantía no cubrirá:
Si el producto ha sido usado fuera de su capacidad o utilidad, maltratado, golpeado,
expuesto a la humedad, sumergido en algún líquido o substancia corrosiva, así como
cualquier otra falta atribuible al consumidor.
Si el producto ha sido desarmado, modicado o reparado por personas no autorizadas por
el SAT ocial de Cecotec.
Si la incidencia ha sido originada por el desgaste normal de las piezas debido al uso.
El servicio de garantía cubre todos los defectos de fabricación durante 2 años en base a la
legislación vigente, excepto piezas consumibles. En caso de mal uso por parte del usuario
el servicio de garantía no se hará responsable de la reparación.

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the
appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference
or new users.
Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage
stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall
outlet is grounded.
Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the
cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the ofcial Technical
Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger.
To avoid electric shocks, do not clean with or allow to get
inside the product: water, liquid or any ammable substance.
Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part
of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the
electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are
dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
The appliance shall be installed, operated and stored in a
room with a oor area larger than 4 m2.
Switch off the device immediately in the event of defects or
malfunctions.
Do not use the device if its cord or any other part is damaged.
In this case, contact the ofcial Technical Support Service of
Cecotec.
Do not spray insecticide, perfume or other ammable
substances around the product. Do not operate the device
with products with odours.
Do not install the device near to heat-generating appliances
or ammable and dangerous materials.
This product does not replace normal ventilation products.

Make sure the product is kept and stored in well-ventilated
areas.
During operation, leave at least a 20-cm space on the back
and sides of the product.
Install the drain piping at a grade that allows condensed
water to be drained continuously.
The device must be placed so that the plug is accessible.
The appliance shall be installed in accordance with local
national wire and gas regulations.
Operate the dices in a temperature range between 7 ºC and
35 ºC. Operating it out of this range could cause the device
not to operate properly.
Ensure the lter and the product’s cover are properly
installed before operating it.
Do not sit or stand on the device.
Make sure the tank is emptied after each use to ensure
proper operation.
Do not operate the device in closed areas such as inside
closets. Do not use outdoors.
Do not insert ngers or other objects in the air inlet or outlet
to prevent injuries and product damage.
Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any
way. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not
let it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the
edge of the surface.
This appliance cannot be used by children or persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge. Children shall not play with the
appliance.

The indicator features the following functions:
When the unit is plugged in, it will indicate the room humidity level.
Once the humidity level is set, it will display it.
When the time for the unit to turn on and off is set, it will show the hours.
When the environment humidity is lower than 35 %, it will show “35”.
When the environment humidity is higher than 95 %, it will show “95”.
3. BEFORE USE
Take the product out of the box.
Remove all packaging material Save the original box.
Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible
signs of damage are observed, contact the Technical Support Service immediately.
When installing the device, ensure a minimum safety distance of 20 cm to each of its sides.

4. OPERATION
The power light indicator will turn on when the unit is plugged in,
regardless of whether the unit is operating or not.
Press the power button once to start operation. Press it again to stop operation.
Press the high-low speed button to activate the fan function. Press the same button to
select between high or low speed.
Press the settings button to set the desired room humidity level. Set from 40 % to 80 %,
in 5 % intervals.
Note: After the device has been operating for some time, if the environment humidity
is lower than the set value by 2 %, the device will stop operating after 3 minutes. If the
environment humidity level is equal to or higher than the selected humidity by 2 %, the
device will automatically start operating again.
Draining collected water (Img.5)
When the water tank is full, the tank full indicator light will turn on, the device will stop
operating automatically and it will beep 15 times to alert the user that the tank’s water
needs to be emptied.
How to empty the water tank:
Lightly press on the sides of the tank with both hands and pull the tank out gently.
Empty water inside the tank.
Note: (Img.6) Do not remove the oat from the water tank. The water-full sensor will no
longer be able to detect the water level correctly without the oat and water may leak
from the water tank.
(Img.7) To install the tank back in place, press it rmly into place with both hands. If the tank
is not positioned properly, the “TANK FULL” sensor will be activated and the dehumidier
will not operate.
Continuous water drainage (Img.8)
The unit features a continuous-drainage port. Using a plastic pipe (with an inner diameter
of 10 mm), insert it into drain hole (on intermediate plate), reach out from side of water
tank, install it in place, and arrange the drain pipe.
The water in the tank can be continuously drained out from the continuous port on the unit.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn off and unplug the product from the power supply before cleaning or repairing it.
Use a soft, damp cloth with some neutral cleaning agent to clean the product’s outside.
If the product is not going to be used for a long time, pour out the remaining water, dry
thoroughly all the parts and store it in a safe and well-ventilated place.

If the water tank is dirty, wash it with cold or lukewarm water. Do not use detergent,
scouring pads, chemically-treated cloths, gasoline, benzene, thinner, or other solvents, as
these can scratch and damage the tank and cause water leakage.
Cleaning the lter
(Img.9) Open the lter compartment and remove the lter.
(Img.10) Run a vacuum cleaner lightly over the surface of the air lter to remove dirt. If the
air lter is exceptionally dirty, wash it with warm water and a mild cleanser. Dry thoroughly.
To attach the air lter, insert it into the grill smoothly, and place the compartment into its
right place. (Img.11)
Storage
Before storing the device for a long period of time:
Empty any water left in the tank.
Wind the power supply cord and put it in the water tank.
Clean the lter edge.
Store it in a cool and dry place.

8. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE), species that old household electrical appliances
must not be disposed of with the normal unsorted municipal waste.
Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimize the
recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the
impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of
your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the
correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
9. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof
of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given
proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
The warranty will not cover the following situations:
The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten,
exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault
attributable to the customer.
