•DO NOT exceed t e lower of t e maximum load capacity of 800 lbs. (363 Kgs.) evenly distributed, or ve icle manufacturer’s
rating for Bed Rail Mounted Truck Racks.
•“Distributed load” is defined as a load t at is not concentrated in a small area.
•Any load carried above t e bed rails will increase your truck’s center of gravity and will significantly inder your trucks ability to
maneuver, stop turn or accelerate. Avoid s arp turns and excessive speeds as t is will increase risks.
•T is truck rack is solely intended for, and only safe for, transporting ladders, lumber, pipe and ot er similar materials or
recreational items suc as canoes and kayaks.

•Truck beds wit liners may require modification prior to use of t e product.

•Only use non-stretc tie down straps.
IMPORTANT!
•Loads t at exceed t e ve icle manufacturer cargo and / or entire gross ve icle weig t (GVW) rating, are not covered by
warranty.
•Always evenly distribute load on rack before driving.
•Loads must be secure according to local eig t and identification regulations and or laws.
•Secured loads and connections must be re-c ecked periodically for tig tness.
•Overloading t e ve icles GVW may cause damage and severely alter t e ve icle’s andling and braking c aracteristics and or
cause t e ve icle to roll over.
•It is recommended t e tailgate be in t e up position during use to better stabilize t e truck bed.
•For safety to your ve icle and rack system, obey all posted speed limits and traffic cautions. Adapt your speed to t e conditions
of t e road and t e load being carried.
•All locks must be turned and moved periodically to ensure smoot operation. Use grap ite or dry lubricant on locks.
•Cequent locks are designed to deter t eft and vandalism, but s ould not be considered t eft proof. Remove valuable gear if
your ve icle is unattended for an extended period of time. Place one key in t e glove department.
•Lubricate ardware wit anti-seize for best long term performance.
•Failure to follow t ese warnings or instructions will void t e warranty.
Vehicle Fit
T e Pick-Up-Rack™ was designed to be installed on trucks wit out a traditional over t e rail plastic bed liner. Installation is
possible on trucks wit under-t e-rail bed liners wit minimal trimming. Spray on bed liners will not interfere wit t is product.
T e Pick-Up-Rack™ is based on ve icle designs available at t e revision date of t ese instructions.
Recommendations
•Inspect entire rack often. Discontinue use if any signs of damage are seen suc as bends, creases, cracks or breaks.
•C eck all connections for tig tness.
•If t e rack will not be moved or removed frequently, it may be elpful to use a t read locker on connecting ardware.
