GENERAL INFORMATION
Thank you for choosing CHARDER MEDICAL product. All features of
this product were designed to state of the art and are optimized for
simple and straightforward use. If you have any queries or
experience any problems not addressed in the operating instructions,
please contact your CHARDER MEDICAL service partner, or visit us
on the internet at www.chardermedical.com
We strongly recommend you use the scales on flat and hard surface.
Any soft surface, like carpet will cause inaccuracy.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION
Before putting the device into use, please read with care the
information given in the user manual. They contain important
instructions for installation, proper use and maintenance of the
device.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for damages arising out of
failure to heed the following instructions:
The scale is intended for home use with adult supervision. Never
leave a child unattended on the scale, so as to prevent the risk
of winding around the neck of the height measuring cord of the
scale.
Do not place the unit on slippery surfaces.
Batteries should be kept away from small children. If swallowed,
promptly seek medical assistance.
Ensure the tray is properly locked before placing the baby on the
scale.
This product contains small accessories, please keep away from

children, so as to prevent inadvertently swallowing the danger!
Expected Service Life: 5 years
When using electrical components under increased safety
requirements, always comply with the appropriate regulations.
Improper installation will render the warranty null and void.
This device is designed for use indoors only.
Observe the permissible ambient temperatures for use
The device meets the requirements for electromagnetic
compatibility. Do not exceed the maximum values specified in
the applicable standards.
If you have any problem, contact your local CHARDER MEDICAL
service partner.
ENVIRONMENTAL
All batteries contain toxic compounds; disposal of batteries
should be delegated to a competent organization, complying
with the deposit of Poisonous Waste Regulation 1972.
Please do not incinerate batteries.
The optimum operating temperature for the scale is 5℃to +35
℃; although it will operate at higher and lower temperatures the
scales battery life will be adversely affected.
CLEANING
We would recommend using alcohol-based wipes or similar when
cleaning the scales.
Please do not use large amounts of water when cleaning the scales
as this will cause damage to the scales electronics, you should also
refrain from using corrosive liquids or high-pressure washers.

MAINTENANCE
The scale does not require any routine maintenance. However, we
recommend checking the scale’s accuracy at regular intervals. The
regularity of these checks is dependent on the level of use and the
state of the scale. If any inaccuracies occur, please contact your local
dealer or CHARDER MEDICAL service partner.
WARRANTY-LIABILITY
If a fault or defect is present on receipt of the unit which is within
CHARDER MEDICAL’s scope of responsibility, CHARDER shall
have the right to either repair the fault or supply a replacement unit.
Replaced parts shall be the property of CHARDER. Should the fault
repairs or replacement delivery not be successful, the statutory
provisions shall be valid.
The period of warranty shall be one(1) year, beginning on the date of
purchase. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. Should
your scale require servicing, please contact your dealer or
CHARDER MEDICAL Customer Service.
No responsibility shall be accepted for damage caused through any
of the following reasons: Unsuitable or improper storage or use,
incorrect installation or commissioning by the owner or third parties,
natural wear, changes or modifications, incorrect or negligent
handling, overuse, chemical, electrochemical or electrical
interference or humidity, unless this is attributable to negligence on
the part of CHARDER MEDICAL.
If operating, climatic or any other influences lead to a major change
in conditions or material quality, the treaty for perfect unit functioning

shall be rendered null and void. If CHARDER provides and individual
warranty, this means that the unit supplied will be free of faults for the
length of the warranty period.
DISPOSING OF THE SCALE
This product is not to be treated as regular household waste but
should be handed in to an electrical/electronic equipment recycling
centre.
You can obtain further details from your local council, your municipal
waste disposal company or the firm which you purchased the
product.

6. Clip the height cord to the head stopper.
7. Pull height cord up and let the kid step onto the platform.
Measure height and take reading from display between
30~ 160 cm, 1 ft ~ 5 ft 3 inches.
Press to lock height readings.
Press to release height readings again.

PREPARE THE SCALE FOR USE
Remove battery cover on the back of the scale and install 3 xAAA
batteries.
Attach the tray to the scale.

Slide the tray until it well fixed to the platform.
INSTRUCTION OF USING THE SCALE
1. Press button, the display shows for
about 1s.
2. Wait until the display shows “0:0.0” or “0.00”.
Note -
If the display shows “0:0.0”, the scale is set to pounds/ounces.
If the display shows “0.00”, the scale is set to kilograms/grams.
Press button to choose pounds (0:0.0) or kilograms (0.00).
3. Lay the baby on the tray and read the display. If the baby is
moving, press button to lock in the correct weight.
When weight reading is taken, press to release weight, the
scale will automatically restart to shows “0:0.0” or “0.00” for next
weighing after 3s.
4. If there is no weight or any operation, the scale will automatically
turn off after 15s.

3. Place the scale on a hard and flat surface.
4. Press to power on the scale.
5. Turn the button anticlockwise and pull height cord out.

6. After stepping off the scale, display will show the baby weight
automatically.
HEIGHT MEASURING MODE
1. Remove baby tray before power on the scale.
2. Upside down the scale. Then remove head stopper from the
bottom of the scale.

INSTRUCTION OF OPERATION MODE
NORMAL MODE
Normal mode is designed for standard weighing requirement. User
can measure weight of baby and tare the weight of rug or diaper
placing on the tray. You can use button to lock in the weight of
moving baby and use button to release locked weight again.
NORMAL MODE DISPLAY
MILK INTAKE MODE
Milk intake function is designed for people who need to know how
much milk baby had consumed after feeding milk.

BABY MOMMY MODE
Baby mommy mode is designed for people who can easily deduct
their weight and measure baby’s weight while cuddling the baby.

3. Step onto the scale. Stand still until the weight double flash to be
locked.
4. Step off the scale and the weight restore to zero automatically.
5. Hold the baby in your arms and step onto the scale, wait until the
weight double flash to be locked, then step off the scale.

BABY MOMMY MODE
1. Remove the baby tray before turn on the scale.
2. Press to turn on the scale and press to switch
mode to BABY MOMMY mode.

MODE INSTRUCTIONS
MILK INTAKE MODE
Milk Intake function will always store current weight which is placed
on the tray and deduct last stored weight and display the differences.
1. Power on the scale and switch to Milk Intake mode with M on the
left upper corner.

2. Gently place baby on the tray and press button to lock
the weight of baby and store baby weight in the scale memory.
When you take baby from tray. It will turn off automatically while
without any operation within 15 secs.
3. Then you can feed the baby milk now.
NOTE: When you remove baby from the tray. LCD will display
weight difference which deduct from current weight and last
stored weight. You can ignore it as you have not feed the baby
milk yet.
4. After feeding milk, turn on the scale and switch to Milk Intake
mode, then gently place the baby on the tray and press
button to store the weight.

5. When weight is stored in the scale memory, cuddle the baby
from the tray. Then LCD will display the weight difference
(between the current weight and the last weight).
