1. Subject
Single-phase supply connection for eVolve T.
This modification must be applied when powering a three-phase eVolve T from a
single-phase supply when the test button of the RCD is internally connected to the
third terminal instead of the first one, to maintain the functionality of this test button.
2. Models Affected
Any eVolve T with an RCD in which the test button is linked to the third terminals.
3. Safety & Security information
•Read all the instructions before using and install this product.
•Do not use cables there are not in perfect conditions.
•Do not use this unit for anything other than electric vehicle charging modes are IEC
61851-1 MODE 3 and MODE 1.
•Do the modifications as described, for other modifications CIRCONTROL will reject all
responsibility and the warranty will be void.
•Comply strictly with current safety regulations according to your country rules.
•Do not make repairs or manipulations with the unit energized.
•Only trained and qualified personnel should have access to low-voltage electrical parts
inside the device.
•Check the installation annually by qualified technician.
•Remove from service any item that has a fault that could be dangerous for users
(broken plugs, caps that do not close...).
•Use only CIRCONTROL supplied spare parts.
This symbol indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided may result in a risk of fire, serious injury or death.
Such work should only be performed by highly qualified personnel in the
electric field, with a deep knowledge of the product, preferably instructed
by CIRCONTROL.
Failure to follow this instruction, will lead CIRCONTROL to
reject all
responsibility and will void the warranty.

STEP ACTION
1
Check the connection diagram of the RCD.
If the test button is connected to the third terminals of the RCD,
as shown in the
following example, proceed with this manual.
If the test button is connected to the first terminals of the RCD, there’s no need to
apply any modification.

Untighten and remove the cables connected to the second and thirds terminal, from
the upper and lower side of the RCD.

Untighten the cables connected to the first terminals, from the upper and lower side
of the RCD, and reconnect them on the third terminals of the RCD.
In case of having problems with the length of any of the cables, replace it by a larger
one with the same characteristics as the original; same cross-
section, same
isolation, same colour, and same ferrule.

Energize the unit and press the test button of the RCD to check if it’s working
properly.
