Installation Recommendations
▪Roller mill and related equipment must be installed in a dry environment
protected from rain and other moisture.
Assembly
▪Locate and attach brackets as shown.
▪Components may vary depending on roaster model.

Electrical Requirements
▪Machine must be wired in accordance with all local code requirements by
a qualified electrician!
▪See roaster documents or roaster panel nameplate for specific
requirements.
▪240V, 1phase, 60hz. (unless special ordered)
▪Supply current 10A

-SAFETY WARNINGS-
!DANGER!
1. Disconnect and Lock out all electrical power before removing any covers.
2. Do not open control panel or remove any covers during operation.
3. !DANGER! Oven heaters are electrically charged even when machine is not
operating.
4. Press Emergency stop button and shut off main power switch in case of
emergency.
5. Do not touch oven cover or auger tube during operation, these surfaces are
hot and will burn.
6. Keep hands and flammable material away from all hot surfaces.
7. Keep hands away from auger and all moving parts, auger starts
automatically and injury will result.

ATTENTION: Please make sure you have followed all SETUP AND SAFETY
Instructions prior to OPERATION.
-OPERATION-
TESTED
▪Before shipping we run a test batch of grain through all new machines to
test functionality.
▪There may be some residual grain in machine from this test.
▪
ROASTED GRAIN COLLECTION SUGGESTIONS
▪Gravity Wagon
▪Bin or Tote
▪Piled directly onto concrete floor and managed with a skid steer bucket.
▪If conveying roasted grain directly into storage bin, cooling the grain is
recommended to prevent condensation and spoiling (See distributor for
Model 640C Cooler).
ROLL ADJUSTMENT
▪Adjust roll gap using 9/16” wrench, CW increases gap.
▪Always adjust rolls evenly.

PIVOT WHEN NOT IN USE
▪Remove red hooper shields to access mount bolts.
▪Remove (4) smaller mount bolts.
▪Pivot mill away from roaster outlet.
▪Install 1 lock bolt to secure mill.
▪Reverse procedure to use mill again.

-MAINTENANCE-
!DANGER! Disconnect and Lockout power before performing any
maintenance.
NOTE: All motor gearboxes are lubricated for life and require no maintenance.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
▪Clear debris from fan shroud on drive motor as needed to promote air flow.
600R LUBRICATION
▪Grease roller support bearings (4) every 100hrs. with supplied moisture
resistant grease.
▪Lubricate chain every 100hrs with suitable oil or lubricant.
